Hello!
We have already installed the plugin in several pages but now we have a big one and we cannot translate the whole site page by page, but we don’t want to translate those pages automatically, so I would like to know if you have the possibility to insert a button so the user choose to see it automatically translated or in the original language…
Hello Carla,
we don’t have such a feature but in WPML 4.5 (beta is around the corner) you will have an option to translate the whole site and keep them for review (in case you would like to have a look at the machine translations before they are published).
I would like to know whether it is possible to move the mulilingual blog license from one site to another. I would like to try it first to test it on a dummy installation and only if it meets our needs move to another site.
Thank you for your advice in advance!
Berenika
Hello,
yes, it’s possible. When you register your site and generate the key on your WPML account you will see two options: testing and production. You can use the first one and then switch to production. Another option is to unregister this site, delete the key and generate a new one for a new domain.
Hello Barbara,
you can pay with a credit card too. At the very bottom of the checkout page (under the orange Place Order button) you will see “Use a different payment processor”.
We’re working on a project that will eventually need to be changed from a single language to multi-language. In addition to the obvious text translation, the client also wants certain translated pages to use different images from the US pages. Does this mean we’d need to copy the main page and then translate the copy (and switch out images)?
Additionally, the current single language site is using the Astra theme and Beaver Builder as a page builder.
Hello Jason,
Yes, WPML allows you to translate images. You need to install the WPML Media Translation plugin (you will see in the downloads section of your WPML when buy the CMS package). WPML works well with the Astra theme and is compatible with the BB.
I am working for voksi.com, which has a license for WPML, but no record of login to the support pages. We have a serious tracking problem where one of four languages fails to present the thankyou page. The other ones do.
Please tell me how to get things on track and how to get licence credentials and access to your support. I have looked in the WPML plugin and I can find no licence key to reference.
Hello,
Our supporters can help only the person who bought WPML and has the login credentials to wpml.org account.
Please check if your site is registered: On your WP site go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial tab and you will know
If your site is registered we can help you find the original user who bought WPML and share some hints (but not his/her data.
If you cannot contact this person, you need to buy WPML and register your site with your key and then open a ticket on our support forum.
Hello,
We are looking for a Japanese language plugin for our Theme and Woocommerce as well.
We are currently using https://themeforest.net/item/firezy-multipurpose-woocommerce-theme/23484040 this theme
Please let us know
if it’s possible then we will surely purchase your plugin
Note:- We will only selling in Japan i.e we need the Japanese language for our overall website
Hello,
this theme is not listed on our themes compatible with WPML. I didn’t find any WPML mention on the theme page either so you might have issues with fully translating this theme. But if you want, you can give it a try and use our refund policy if it doesn’t work as expected.
WPML is a set of WordPress plugins. They will work on any WordPress site that allows you to install your plugins. I heard that on wordpress.com there is a package that allows you to install your plugins too but better to check with the owners of wordpress.com.
I have a site to sell products woocommerce. The site contains more than 15 thousand products. The problem we are facing is that using wpml we cannot translate 15 thousand products automatically! Are there any languages that help in translating all our products into other languages automatically instead of manually? I really hope you can help me, I need a clear answer, please, regards.
Hi, I’m working on a WordPress Multisite environment where each language is a separate site. Can I use the Single Site CMS license or do I need an Agency license?
Dear Mrs.Mercedes
Thank you, I sow your automatic translation and it is great and helpful, but also I have anther question, I am using WMPL also for multi Currency this future it is works fine with me, but there are some issue when I used coupon rest api, it give me just the default Currency USD.
this is link for git coupons using wc rest api:
{{baseURL}}/wp-json/wc/v3/coupons?consumer_key={{consumer_key}}&consumer_secret={{consumer_secret}}¤cy=LYD&lang=en
I need to get all coupons with all Currencies in my site like LYD Currency. thanks a lot.
Hello Ahmed, your question is too technical to be answered in pre-sales questions. If you have any issues with WPML please contact our support forum. You can buy WPML with our refund policy in mind and request a refund if it turns out that your issues cannot be resolved. You will have 30 days to do so.
Hi! I will building a site for a company that operates in several regions (US, Canada, Latin America). They want the content to be similar but not identical. For example, the canadian site will have some products that aren’t available in the US. And while the language will be English, it will be canadian english rather than american english. There will also be a french canadian version. Does WPML support this or is the language the only thing we can change?
Also, how does SEO work? Are the different regions optimized for SEO separately?
Hello, yes, you can create a few versions of English languages (WPML allows that) and for some of your pages (those who will be identical) point to the original page without changing anything. WPML also allows you to have products/pages in a non-original language without their equivalents in the original language if needed. Also, if you create separate English langugaes you can optimize them separately.
My website already has WPML CMS installed
I would like to know if my current plan allows me to add a third language to my site and if the translations for that language will be automatically generated by this plugin or if it’s necesary to write them manually
Hello,
you can add as many languages as you want. The translations won’t be generated automatically. How WPML works now you need to select the pages you want to translate and “send” them to translation to use machine translations.
i have a registered account from about 5 years ago, now I have a problem with my card issuer, could you please activate the membership renew offer for more 2 days until they fixed the problem.
I cannot see anything on your link where WPML is mentioned. But if the theme authors say it works with WPML, you can give it a try and keep our refund policy in mind which allows you to test WPML for 30 days without risking your money.
Hi! I need a multilingual site with Woocommerce and GiveWP intalled, with Spanish and Spanish-Basque (Euskera) language.
Will I be able to do it with WPML?
Hello, WPML works with WooCommerce. If you need machine translations, here are the supported languages: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs, if you want to add your translations manually, you can add any language.
Hi,
It this moment i sell my product only in one language. It’s a Dutch Domain.
I want to have for every language/country it’s own domain.
Where to start?
I would like to use my Dutch site as the basic and from there lauch the translated pages/products to the different domains.
And what about automaticly translations. Can I start with a “huge” bundle and when all my products/pages are translated I can downsize afterward? And if I stop with this montly fee: are my paid translated words still mine?
About automatic translations.
WPML allows you to bulk translate your products but as it works now, you need to manually select the productions for which you want to apply machine translations. Of course you can select multiple products at once but you need to do it manually. When WPML 4.5 is out (the beta is coming soon, probably this week), you will have an option “translate everything” which will do that job for your automatically (all products will be sent to translation in the background).
>And if I stop with this montly fee: are my paid translated words still mine?
Yes, you keep the translations even if you cancel this subscription. When WPML 4.5 is out you will also have an option to but some extra translation credits without setting up a subscription.
Hello Kim,
WPML is a plugin (or actually a set of plugins) to make your site multilingual (meaning to make it available in more than one language). You use the Loco Translate plugin to translate some of your theme/plugin strings to another language for a site that is available only in language. So if you need a bilingual or multilingual site, use WPML. When you use WPML you won’t need the Loco Translate plugin because WPML can also do what Loco Translate does. I hope it helps.
Hi,
I want to translate my website which is a blog and I have around 200-300 articles (500-1500 words each article) – I don’t have a woo commerce shop and my website is built with “hello” theme+ Elementor. What plan is better for me and is there a translation words limit? If so what is the limit and how does it works if I want to translate many long articles? Thanks!
I have an enquiry regarding purchasing an Arabic plugin since I have designed an English website and need to design the Arabic version, does the plugin purchase needs to be renewed periodically? or it’s a lifetime purchase?
Hello team,
We are using MYHome theme [https://myhometheme.net/marketplace/] to build our wordpress website. We need to allow users to choose whether they want to view the website in English[default] or Arabic[RTL]. We are planning to purchase your plugin to achieve this. Will your plugin support the theme we used and If we face any technical issues during the configuration will you support us to achieve our need?
Thank you for replying.
So the point is that the purchased plugin will keep working even if I wouldn’t be interested in the updates and didn’t renew, isn’t?
That’s true but of course, we cannot anticipate what will happen if you update WordPress to new releases and don’t update WPML plugins. Sometimes WordPress updates require updating the plugins too. But in this case, you can renew your WPML subscription again.

Hello Ahmed,
I am not sure of what you need exactly. WPML can translate your 15,000 products normally. Is there a problem from your side to do this?
About “Are there any languages that help in translating all our products into other languages automatically instead of manually? “, I don’t know what you mean either, sorry.
You can see our automatic translation pricing here https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/

hi Tamas,
If you register WPML as a multisite plugin, you will need only one registration key. The CMS subscription will be enough.
See here https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/

Olá, boa noite. O plugin possui tradução para Nederlands e Spain?
É possível testar antes de comprar?
Obrigada,
Ana
Hi Ana,
Yes, we support Spanish and Dutch https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/#id1
I am afraid we don’t have free test versions but you can try WPML and see how it works. You have up to 30 days to do it.

I have an ecommerce website….is WPML compatible with woocommerce? Which version of WPML?
Hello Thomas,
yes, WPML works with WooCommerce. We recommend you to use the latest WPML version which is 4.4.10 at this moment.

Hello,
If you need a separate domain for each language, WPML can help but some extra work is required to be done on your server: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/#2-configure-the-dns-settings
Dear support,
Hi, I uses Loco Translater. I was recommended to take contact to you from woocommerce.
My questions:
1) Is it possible to rune WPML alongside with Loco Translater?
2) Do you have a comparrison between the two plugins? What do I get extra with WPML?
Best Regards, kim Madsen
Hello Kim,
WPML is a plugin (or actually a set of plugins) to make your site multilingual (meaning to make it available in more than one language).
Hello,
how can i upgrade my account … from Multilingual Blog to Multilingual CMS … ?
Thanks for your answer!
Hello, please log into your WPML account and you will see a button to upgrade.

Hello Yanna,
Thank you for your interest in Toolset.
You will need the CMS package to translate your Elementor-based site.
Yes, there are some limits for free translations credits. Our current pricing is this one:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
As you can see you will get 2000 credits for free per month.
Please note that you need to use credits only for new or updated sentences.
If you want to translate long articles you have the following options:
1. paid for extra credits according to the table
2. translate them manually

Hello Nila,
the MYHome theme isn’t on our list of themes compatible with WPML. I didn’t find any info that it’s WPML compatible on the theme page either (https://themeforest.net/item/myhome-real-estate-wordpress-theme/19508653). It only says that’s RTL ready.
I can see that some of our clients report issues:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/my-home-page-has-the-wrong-default-language/

so we cannot reassure you that your theme will work smoothly with WPML.
