We currently have a site that is using gTranslate for translation. Our problem is that it’s not giving us an accurate translation, especially product names, etc. We also have issues moving our site from staging to the production site as it breaks the translation.
We’re looking for a solution to our translation issues that will not only let us overwrite certain words but will not break when moving from a staging environment.
So our question is can your product meet these requirements. This our first foray into making changes to whatever an “auto” translator uses, it’s also my first time trying to figure out this solution so when you answer keep that in mind.

From what I understand, you can already use WPML with the CMS features but your limitation is that you cannot register more than one site. Is this the reason why to need this upgrade? To register more sites? If so you will need to request a refund so that you can buy the CMS package from the purchase page. The other option is let the current End User account expire and them purchase a new account type. You account was started on July 29, 2021 and will expire on July 29, 2022. You don’t have any automatic renewal setup so how about if you wait a few days and then purchase the CMS? I will double-check with our admins if that’s the best option for you.

We are developing a new .cn site for our Chinese audience and creating a static sandbox based on our .com EN site. Once the content on the sandbox is approved, we’ll then transfer the content to the live .cn site.
Our .com site is using WPML already and it is a $99 CMS version. I saw the pricing info said this version can support 3 production and 9 development sites. Just wanna confirm, does that mean we can directly use the license code that .com site owns to activate the WPML plugin on the sandbox site and also .cn site?

yes, you can use 12 license keys in total, where 3 of them will be for production sites and 9 for development sites. When you are generating a key on your wpml.org account it will ask you if what type of site it is (production/development). Developement site will have a banner being displayed on the backend indicating it’s a development site. You can always unregister your site and register it again with a new key.

It would depend on how you have created your site. When we mention a blog license, it does not necessary means that WPML only works on blogs, it means that it works in basic sites with blog’s type functionalities: not theme functions, string translation or page builders.
And yes, it brings Euskera pre-configured. However you can always create and add new languages.

I found no other solution than to create a new account to buy another license with another mail adress – since it was challenging to upgrade.
Might be that an upgrade of the account management and system around buying/upgrading could be nice for your users 😉

1. WPML does not provide an IP redirection, it has an Automatic Redirect Based on Browser Language though:

2. You will need to create a new Spanish languages and use as language code: ad-es.
3. You can edit your content per language.
