Hi, After setting my user as a translator in WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators, I was able to send to the homepage for automatic translation. Please see the attached screenshot dev-is-translator.jpg. I clicked the plus icon next to the Lithuanian language. Please see the attached screenshot trans-homepage.jpg. I then obtained the Advanced Translation Editor, which automatically filled in the translations into Lithuanian. Please see the attached screenshot ate.jpg. Now I can switch to hidden link and see that it is in Lithuanian. Please see the attached screenshot Lithuanian.jpg. To translate many product categories automatically and in bulk, please read this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-all-taxonomy-terms-at-once/. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Regards, |

Hi, Currently, I'm getting a 404 page for hidden link. You asked:
You can create the /lt/ page independently and then connect it to the English homepage by following this guide. https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/ You can also start with the English design by first duplicating the English page into /lt/ and then translating it independently by following this guide. Does the above information help you to solve the problem? Regards, |

Hello, maybe u are trying cached version. But since lithuanian now is my main website lang, It opens on default domain as hidden link while english opens in hidden link. I need to make multiple editits in Bakery to my content so it would be fixed independently from english. |

Hi, In this case, you need to follow what we call the "manual translation process". It is explained in the following guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/. In this process, you first duplicate the original Lithuanian page into English. This will make it look exactly like the Lithuanian page, including the text in Lithuanian. In this method, the layout will be copied over from Lithuanian to English. Next, click the "Translate independently" button, edit the English page using the Bakery editor, and then replace the Lithuanian text with English. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Regards, |

But I dont need any changes to english version it was perfect. Also need to adjust some images to look ok on mobile. All this I will not be able to do? Not be able to edit? Why? Does WPML completely overtake page edit? |

Hi, OK, I get it that the page was created in English when it was the default language of the site. Then you translated it into Lithuanian. And later, you changed the default language of the site to Lithuanian. What is essential to keep in mind in such cases is to keep editing this specific page (and others that were created before the default language change) in the same order. Considering English as the original language of this page (although it is no longer the site's default language), we will first make changes (if needed) on the English page and then on the Lithuanian translation. WPBakery is officially compatible with WPML. When working with it and with WPML, one must follow the guide we have here: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/how-to-build-multilingual-sites-with-wpbakery-page-builder-and-wpml/. If the theme or another plugin extends WPBakery and adds new elements, then translation support must be added by following this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/maintaining-wpbakery-page-builder-compatibility-with-wpml/. I can see that the Lithuanian translation of the homepage is in progress. Please see the attached screenshot in-progress.jpg. This means that you have not completed it in WPML's Translation Editor, and therefore, it might cause the problems you see on the Lithuanian page. Here is what I suggest you try next. First, try to complete the translation in WPML's Translation Editor and see if it translates everything and the layout (and the missing products section shows). Please try this and tell me how it goes. If the Lithuanian page is still not as it should be afterwards, then tell me and I'll give you other options to try. Regards, |

Hi again. In addition to what I wrote above, I also want to suggest you update the WPBakery plugin to its latest version, as I can see that it is not updated on your site. Please see the attached screenshot. We might have made changes and adjustments on our side with the latest versions. Our compatibility team last tested WPBakery Version 8.6.1. You can see it here: https://wpml.org/plugin/wpbakery-page-builder/ |

Hi, im not doing any translation to homepage (u made it once for me). I was just opened it to edit and seen it opens me edit into wpml. But hidden link currently doesnt open at all (works in wp-admin)? In my situation we received all products data from wholesaler in english from their woocommerce. So we started with english version creation first. (since wp theme demo also was in english). Then it was auto translated to lithuanian, and now lithuanian is set as default language. There was no other way. But from now on, client is sending me data in lithuanian. Especially after poor translation english->lithuanian client asks me to edit and correct manually almost all product titles, and ~50% of product descriptions.. As I understand WPML module will not allow it by default now? I have updated bakery plugin. My basel them also had spec's its WPML compatible. It opens page for edit now. But issue is not clear. MY GOAL WOULD BE TO ALLOW ME TO EDIT ANY LANG CONTENT MANUALLY LT OR EN AND DON'T DO NOTHING TO OTHER LANG VERSIONS OF THE PAGE. On hidden link after automatic translation you made for me I have 2 critical issues: |

Hi, To achieve your goal, edit the English page with the WordPress editor. In the Language section, switch to the WordPress editor. Please see the attached screenshot and click the Update button. Then you can edit the Lithuanian page with the WPBakery editor, and the changes should be applied. For new pages, please use the translation method I mentioned earlier: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/. Regards, |

To be more specific, could You please instruct me. on hidden link I lithuanian lang I input lithuanian Kategorijos hidden link but then in string translation it saves to english version hidden link and doesnt allow me to edit it. Why it still thinks english is my original language, if default lang is set as lithuanian? How can i manage such things its so confusing..
