Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

- Go to Plugins>>Add New>>Commercial tab
- Click on "Unregister WPML from this site"
- Refresh the page
- Click on "Get a key for this site"
- Copy the newly generated code

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Please visit WPML>>Settings>>Multilingual Content Setup>>Translation Mode and check which option you are selected now.

Please try the following steps after a backup and make sure the issue is existing or not.

1) Visit WPML>>Translation Management Dashboard
2) Choose the Posts/Pages you want to translate or update the existing translations
3) Send it to Translation Basket
4) Visit WPML>>Translation Management>>Translation Basket
5) Send it for translation, by choosing yourself as a translator
6) Visit WPML>>Translations queue and translate the page by clicking the *Translate* button

This is the correct workflow for translation. Refer to this article for more details https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/

Hello I did that, all translations are now updated and seem normal in the page/post overview. However when I click on the switcher to change the language it takes too long to load and after that it remains in the english version

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. As we discussed in the chat, the translations are not showing in the frontend because of the caches. So please clear all types of caches and make sure the bug is existing or not.
