This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to allocate prepaid credits to their site, specifically to a development site that has been changed to production. They also cannot see the option to allocate or transfer prepaid credits within the Translation Management tools, only the pay-as-you-go option is visible.
Solution:
1. Unregister and re-register the site with a new sitekey.
2. Assign credits again to the development site.
Refer to the documentation on how to unregister and register development sites:

To transfer credits back to your WPML.org account or add credits to your site:
1. On your site, use the option to transfer credits back to your WPML.org account.
2. On your WPML.org account, add credits to your site, or delete the sitekey to get credits back.

Yes, you can assign prepaid credits to a development site as well. Please try to unregister and re-register your site with a new sitekey and assign credits again.

Hi,
it helped. Now I can see the credits assigned, when I have deleted the site, unregistered wpml and then registered it again.

I have one more question - when I want to transfer some credits from an existing site - I go to Translation Management - Tools - I can see only the option to activate the pay-as-you-go option. I cannot allocate/transfer prepaid credits.

The only option which is working is to delete the site which means the credits are transfered back and then registered again.

Hi,

- On your site: you can transfer credits back to your WPML.org account, screenshot hidden link
- On your WPML.org account: you can add credits to your site, or delete the sitekey to get credits back from your site to WPML.org account.

The workaround to unregister and re-register should be done one time when the site is not connected to WPML.org correctly.

ok, i had some issues with the site link - I had not seen the page you refer to. Now, after repairing I can see it
