Hi there,
I have two custom tax. relation (by Jet Engine) City is parent and Area is child.
City 1 (Area 1, Area 2 )
City 2 (Area 3, Area 4)
In original lang they are related, but after translate in secondary lang they are not related.

What could be the problem?

Thanks

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

This may be a compatibility issue. Which Jet Engine Module/Element you are using for this?

Please let us know the exact steps to reproduce the issue on your site. It will be great if you can share a couple of screenshots for a better understanding.

Hi Bigul,
I have custom tax City (Ciudad in spain) and Area (Zona)
Which area have only one City as Parent City
City 1 (Area 1, Area 2 )
City 2 (Area 3, Area 4)
They are related tax
After the translate ("WPML" > "translate taxonomy") !in secondary language! they are not related. But still related in main language.
Why is this relations not preserved after translation?

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. Please take a site backup, and visit WPML>>Taxonomy Translation and click on the *Hierarchy Synchronization* tab. Then Sync the hierarchy terms to the secondary language and make sure you are getting the expected results or not.

Please refer to this doc for more details - https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-post-categories-and-custom-taxonomies/#synchronizing-hierarchical-taxonomies
