after deactivating wpml site has redirection error

Andreas	Hello there Thank you for contacting us. I am happy to help you. You said that you deactivate WPML. Does that mean that on this site you don't need it anymore? If yes have you followed those instructions ? https://wpml.org/faq/how-wpml-reset-works/ Of course always take a backup before do anything! Regards, Andreas

MOOI	Hi Andreas, I tried to reset but wpml did "something" with the redirects...? Can you please check? very strange: homepage does not load after deactivating:hidden link but sub-pages are fine:hidden link

Andreas	Thank you for the reply. WPML is not doing any redirections. All the redirections are handled from WP or if you have any other plugin. Ensure in the backend that the home page is set correctly and the page has no any issues. Maybe define another page for the home temporarily and then switch back to the original. Regards, Andreas

Andreas	As I have already told you , WPML is not adding redirection, WP is doing it or 3rd party plugins. If you have problems with redirection or other urls issues after disabling WPML, I would suggest checking it a little bit further in order to find the source of the problem. But since you need WPML and it is working, why you are not leaving it enabled and continue working normally? Regards, Andreas
