I'm trying to password-protect some products. In main language (EN) it does work fine, but in other languages password is always wrong. And it's not possible to edit password, as it's blocked by wpml.

Hello!
As far as I recall the password protection is normally synchronized and it is the same as the original, provided that you have checked the option "Synchronize password for password protected posts" in WPML > Settings page.
Please check that setting and enable it.

This setting is enabled (all sync settings are checked). Worse than that, I've got one EN password-protected post whose translation isn't even protected.

So I've saved the translation, and now it's password-protected. But the password is wrong. I can't see pass obviously, but EN one doesn't work.

So it looks like when I save EN post, it doesn't copy password settings to RU. And when I save RU post, it takes password settings, but not the password.

I'm using WordPress translation style.

Hello,

Can you please check if the issue happens when only WPML plugins are activated, and all other plugins are disabled? Please change your theme to the WP default theme and check if the issue happens.

Thanks,
Drazen

Hello,

are you using some kind of object cache or specific settings via the mentioned plugin?

Does the issue still happen when only Breeze and WPML plugins are enabled, and all other are disabled while using the WP default theme?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Drazen

I think it was failing with just breeze.

But now it's working with breeze enabled, but breeze doesn't seem to work at all. So I'm checking with cloudways support what happened to it...
