Hi team,
My website was working fine up until yesterday and then went down.
I've disable all plugins and discovered that the issue is the WPML String Translation plugin.
I've disable it for now, until we can find why is that.
many thanks

Hello There,
Thanks for reaching out to us.

I can understand that you're having some issues when the String Translation is enabled. Can you please confirm that an updated version of WPML String Translation is installed on your site?

May I ask you to read our guide to prevent performance issues also?

If it is not helping, then please enable the debug log on your site and check if any errors are getting logged there.

You can check this guide to understand the process of enabling Debug for your site- https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/

Maybe you can enable the query monitor also and do a small comparison to see what is making the difference in loading times.

You can checkout this tutorial to debug performance issues using Query Monitor: https://wpml.org/tutorials/2019/10/analyze-performance-issues-with-query-monitor/

Please share the results and details to help you with as much as we can.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
