Tell us what you are trying to do?
There was already a translation available, only this wasn't linking well.
So we remove the page, we remove permantly from the trash, and start over translating the page. The link should be hidden link instead of hidden link

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hello,

Yes, this is in fact expected if a page slug already exists or the matching page is inside the trash bin.

At the moment I can visit hidden link without issues.

Do you still need assistance with this?

Take note, that you can manually assign the source language and connect translations:

Best regards
Andreas
