Hi, i need to translate existing woocommerce store and need to clarify the process.
- Can i use product SKU as unique Id ?
- Do i have to delete default language products? The tutorial says that when there already is content on website, we must export existing products in default language and then delete those existing products before import them to default lang. For both questions the reply is yes.
1) But if you have many products already, you can use our WooCommerce Multilingual REST API support and add transactions to your products without deleting them.
2) If you insist to continue with WPML All Import and deleting the old products, I am always suggesting to our customers to start by importing one product with its translation to ensure that everything is ok with XML and Settings and then try to mass import products.

Well, i´m not really confortable about deleting existing products..
Can´t the translation be done, exporting default lang products and then import that file followed by import of adittional language file?
What happens if i do like this? products dupllicate? What?
I understand that you wish to delete with ALL Import.
1) So you can export all products wit WP ALL Export
2) Delete all products in your site ( take a backup first)
4) Adjust the files in order to import as new one ( do not use the same ID etc )
5) Do some tests with 1 product and 1 translation to ensure that everything is working ok and then import everything.
