  2. Dear seller,

I have basic questions before buying. Could you please tell me after checking this URL below that I mention as an example:
    https://mixi.mn/?a=135696&c=10&p=r

    1) IF it is possible to configure WPML to make AUTOMATIC translation by IP detection, as seen in the URL above?

    2) IF it is possible to place the WPML button at the top right corner with flags and the currency symbols as seen in the URL above?

    3) Can WPML CMS translate all parts of my woocommerce store, including the blog pages?

    Thank you for your attention,
    Viviane

    • Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML

      1. Please note that WPML doesn’t translate automatically. There is not IP detection feature but WPML can detect (and redirect accordibly) the user’s language set in his/her browser.
      2. Yes, it is but in some cases (it depends on how your WordPress theme is built) you might need to add the language switcher manually to your PHP file. We provide a ready to use snippet.
      3. You can turn your WooCommerce store into a multilingual one but as mentioned before, WPML doesn’t translate your content automatically. You need to provide translations or you can use one of the professional translation services integrated with WPML

  3. Hi, I’m going to build a simple wordpress site with 4 pages and a blog section, and I’d like to have these contents translated both in italian and english; another requirement is multilingual seo, so translated urls/descriptions/titles too. Do you think that ‘multilingual blog’ version would suffice?

    Thanks a lot.

    Best regards

  4. 1- I only need to translate my themes and plugins, what do i need?
2- Can i save/load my translations to some kind of database? I’m often translating the same strings over and over
3- Can i upgrade from CMS to CMS Lifetime after 1 year?

    • Hello Luís,

      1. You can use WPML (please check this link) but if you only need to translate strings from your themes and plugins you can use an editor (such as Poedit) please check this article
      2. If you translate using WPML everything is stored in the database but if your point is to reuse some of your work and avoid trasnlating the same string over and over again, this is more tricky. WPML lets you export/import your strings but you cannot choose individual strings.
      3. Yes, you can (and you will pay the difference)

    • Hello,
this theme wasn’t tested by our Compatibility Team so we don’t know but it seems to be a simple theme so you should be able to translate basic stuff without any issues: pages, posts, tags, categories.

If I were you, I would give it a try. Yes, you can get started with the Blog version. If it turns out that you are not completely satisfied, just fill out this form and we will give your money back. But please note that you have 30 days to test it and use our refund policy.

  5. Hello,

I’m currently working with the free version of Polylang. If I switch to the paid version of wpml, does that mean I’d have to translate all over? (I want to keep my specific texts, no automatic translastion)

By which I mean: would I have to implement them again 1 by 1?

Another thing; I presume the $ 79,- is not a yearly subscription, but for life. Is that correct?

    Thanks for your reply,
    Tim Hupkes

    • Hi Ulrike,
yes, you can. You just need to have one WPML subscription and you can use it for all your customers.

  6. Hi team, I purchased WPML Multilingual Blog in Sept. 2015 and forgot to renew after the first year (never thought of it since everything worked great once set up). If I want to renew now, do I have to buy the complete version again (29$) or can I get the renewal version (15$)?

    • Hi Elke,

renewing for $15 is only possible before your subscription expires. We send two remainders, one about 30 days before your subscription expires and the next one a few days before.

So you would need to pay $29 again. Please note that for customers who missed renewing we offer an upgrade to the Lifetime version at a reduced price. Please log into your WPML account to see the details. If you don’t remember your login details please use this link:

  7. Hello!

I am interested in WPML Multilingual Blog. From the view of the search engines is it better I have to go all pages to the other language or does it not matter? For example I have a blog with 1000 articles and only 40 articles I would like to translate and I would like no disadvantages with the search engines because not everything is translated

    With best wishes,

    Blogfan

    • Hello,

I’m sure you will benefit even if you translate “only” 40 articles. WPML allows you to translate only some of your posts and leave the other in the original language, no problem. Just make sure that you don’t mix content in two languages on the same page and all of your elements are translated. Search engines try to determine the language of each page individually by analysing the content.

    • Our plugin, WooCommerce Multilingual, treats all translations of a product as essentially the same product. It synchronizes the inventory between languages. If you need to have different inventory per language, you can create them as completely separate products and not as translations of the same product.

  8. Hello,

we are looking for a specialist to implement our Woocommerce site into 4 new Latin America countries, each with its on domain, currency and checkout.

Is there someone who could do this using WPML? Please get in touch.

    Tks,

  9. Hello,

We are looking for someone who could help us to develop a single Woocommerce environment to sell in 4 Latin America countries. The platform would need to be one single CMS supporting different currencies, checkout fields and payment methods. It would also need to be implemented in each country specific domain.

    Recommendations?

    Tks,

  10. If I have bought the WPML plugin, the other WPML related plugins need to buy or all have come with WPML itself. (Ex: WPML translation Management,etc..)

and I have another doubt. If the content all needs to change manually or automatically using WPML plugin. If I change all the content automatically means, Let me explain the steps how to do that…

Thanks for the answer in advance,!!

    • All WPML plugins are included in the CMS or in the Lifetime subscription. Yes, you translate your content manually. You will find all required information in WPML documentation (the specific page will depend on what exactly you need to translate) and you can also ask for help on our support forum.

  11. Hi,

I’m interested in taking use `WPML for WooCommerce` plug-in on a website where installed `WooCommerce` along with `WooCommerce Subscriptions`plug-in. We would like to have different currencies depending from countries of our site visitor.

In your documentation (https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/multi-currency-support-woocommerce/) mentioned “includes support for running a multilingual e-commerce site with multiple currencies, independent of the site’s languages”, does that mean I can leave site in one language, but set multiple currencies for users to choose which one to pay?

Will it work with `WooCommerce Subscriptions` plug-in for automatic recurrent payments, or are there are some known issues and problems?

The website has a big database, will it affect site performance?

Is there anything else I should be wary of?

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Avag

    • Hi,
yes, you can leave your site in one language, but set multiple currencies for users to choose which one to pay. And yes, WPML is compatible with the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. You ask “The website has a big database, will it affect site performance?” – it’s difficult to say anything specific without seeing it in action. I’d suggest the following: 1. go and buy WPML 2. Install it an configure. If you run into any performance issues please open a ticket on our support forum. If it turns out that we cannot do anything (usually we can!) you can use our refund policy and we will return your money. Please note that you have only 30 days to test WPML to use our refund policy. https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/

  12. Hello I’ve been looking at your plugin especially the Side by side data input. This is exactly what I’m looking for. Does it work with Easy Property Listings plugin?

    Thanks
    Yan

    • Hello,
I’m sorry but I’m afraid I don’t follow you – what do you mean by “the Side by side data input”? You mean the option to translate your content in the WPML editor? If so, that’s okey. If not, please explain. We didn’t test WPML with the Easy Property Listings plugin. You can check plugins compatible with WPML (which were tested by our Team) here: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/

  13. Hi,
it is possible to test wpml before buying? I want to check the integration with my custom post types.

    Thanks
    Markus

    • Hi Markus,
the only way to test WPML with your own site and setup is to buy it with our refund policy in mind. You will have 30 days to test it. WPML allows you to translate custom post types.

  14. This is a presale question.

From what I have researched WPML is compatible with siteorigin page builder which is what I have used for me site. I was planning on using the $29 wpml option because that is what my client can afford. Since siteorigin page builder technically uses widgets to ‘build the page’ would WPML $29 version work the way this article expains? –> https://siteorigin.com/page-builder/using-page-builder-wpml/

Please let me know asap, thank you!
    Theresa

  15. Hello,

You seem to offer a very useful plugin.

I use WP all Import for affiliate based webshops. Does the WPML plugin automatically translate new imports? They are placed at random times, fully automatically.

    Best regards,

    Beavis

  16. I build websites using my own custom theme which is highly configurable and uses visual composer in the header and footer (and / or sidebars) as well. You only configure the header once in visual composer, via a custom post, which repeats its content in the header on all pages. Same with the footer, etc. In other words, each page has multiple content loops to display itself as a whole.

Does that mean if you are in WPML and go to translate a page, it will take you to a section where it has picked up the Visual Composer text strings in the header and footer as well.. OR .. do I just go to admin > custom post for the header > edit > translate and do it once for the header, and that translation will appear on all pages?

    • Hello Aleksandra,
Nothing specific, you just need to know that you can use WPML for all your customers but you cannot resell it. You can also access our support forum with an active WPML account, the same applies to accessing new releases. Is there anything else you would like to know before proceeding with your purchase? I’ll be happy to answer.

    • Hello Randi,
the admin in charge checked your case and your VAT number is correct and our system accepts it. Maybe there was some glitch last week (we are connecting with an external system) Could you please try again?

  17. Hi, i made purchase since last friday, but until now i haven’t get any new account email.
i tried to do lost my password as well, but still no any email from wpml.

    • Hi Eddy,

      1. check your SPAM folder
      2. try to reset your password using this link: https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/

If it doesn’t help, it means that you must have made a typo in your email. If that’s the case, please use this form and send us your oder https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/ and we will update your records.

      • Agnes,

i tried to fill up the contact form 2 times already, but no reply until now.

If you said it because there’s a typo, but i could receive wpml newsletter which sent last Friday.

I’d never register my email for wpml before.

          • Agnes,

as said before i tried it alrady, but never receive the password reset.

i checked my spam and junk for many many times. but nothing there.

            • Let me get in touch with our admin, to find out why. We will also reset your credentials manually and send you one more email. Will keep you posted.

              • ok please Agnes and let us know the solution by today,

because it’s getting frustrating since i can’t do any progress on my website

                • Hi Eddy,
our admin has just reset your password and sent you an email with credentials. We double checked, in our system we also have a couple of emails sent to your email address with requests of password resets, therefore we are positive that our system is sending these. Are you sure they are not sitting in your spam folder?

                • Hi Agnes,

yesterday after your admin sent the login details, i was able to login, and i didn’t make any changes on username and password.

But, today, i couldn’t even login using the username and password that was provided by your system.

i tried to do that many times until there’s too many failure.

can you help check on this? and does it possible to change the email address?

Because i really don’t receive any single email from your system, either about the account or password reset.

I really don’t understand why this can be happened

                • Hi Eddy,
really odd indeed. I’ll get in touch with our admin to investigate your case. Our apologies for the inconveniences. I’ll keep you posted.
