I am interested in using WPML to allow front-end users to change languages on Gravity Forms. Do you have screen shots or a sample site showing the interface from the user’s point of view?
Hi, we’re a third-party payment company and have been providing payment gateway service for 7 years. We support major credit cards including Visa,Master Card,JCB,etc.
Could you please let me know if you have any demand for the payment gateway? Thanks a lot.
Hello,
I’m not sure if I undestand your question. WPML is a WordPress plugin and for handling online payments many WordPress users use the WooCommerce plugin. WPML integrates with the WooCommerce by the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin. We also cooperate with the authors of the WooCommerce extensions (please check a list here) to make their plugins compatible with WPML. If you represent a WooCommerce add-on we will be happy to work with you to make it WPML ready.
Hello,
If you enter a valid European VAT number while purchasing WPML, the VAT won’t be added. So for example, if you are buying the $79 version, you will pay $79. Please check the details here: https://wpml.org/2015/01/vat-eu/
Hello Andrew,
I am afraid we do not make discounts. We like to offer the same price to all our users every day of the year 🙂
You re welcome to start at the Blog version and then upgrade to CMS or lifetime when you are ready.
Thanks, but no thanks. I need it to work with woocommerce and I just can’t afford your retail cots.
I already have Polylang installed and working with woocommerrce and (it was all free). That’s not to say I don’t see value in your product, But I just cant manage it at this stage and probably by the time I can (if my website is successful) then I’ll stick with polylang.
We’re migrating to a totally new system, and building a proof-of-concept demo. Management want to see proof it works before they authorize purchase, especially XLIFF export, which our current non-WP system can’t do.
It’s fine if the trial expires in a couple weeks or whatever. Just need enough time to test, demo, and prove the solution works.
Hello Courtney,
We do not have a free trial version but you are welcome to purchase and test WPML for 30 days. If it does not suit your needs we will refund you https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/.
Hello.
I want to buy a licence for your plugins.
If i pay the licence, will i have the licence for the 3 plugins? (WPML Translation Management, WPML String Translation and WPML Multilingual CMS)?
Hello Pedro,
You need to buy the CMS or lifetime subscription, which includes the 3 plugins you mention. Afterwards you can register WPPML on as many sites as you need. You will need one subscription key for all the modules per site.
Hope this answers your question.
do you mean that I can’t handle visual composer elements translation manually with WPML Blog version?
I don’t need to designe a page once with composer and then translate only text as CMS or lifetime version do, I only need to be able to do it manually.
I actually use qTranslateX to do that.
I need to know if I can do the same with WPML Blog version, the other ones are too expensive for me.
Hello, if creating the content of your page from scratch for the new language is an option for you, then, the Blog version should suffice. But you will do the same work twice. You can also start from the Blog version and upgrade to the CMS version later for the difference in price.
Hello Sasha,
This site uses our name without our permission. The only place where you can buy a legit subscription is from us, which gives you access to downloads and technical support.
Thanks for bringing this up. I will forward this to our Legal department.
Hello,
every user of WPML can create tickets in our support forum. You just need to make sure that your WPML is active (hasn’t expired) and you need to be logged in. Then you visit the page https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ and choose the “Open a new support ticket” option.
I’ve tried to reach your support forum but I can’t as I do not have a registration key.
I am working with an IT business. I paid them a lot of money to install a multilingual wordpress theme first with QTranslate and there-after converted to WPML.
Now I am encountering issues in the WPML String Translation tables that I need to resolve. I tried to contact your support but they ask me to re-register WPML.
The IT business I work with: webweaver.be does not provide me any registration key, even worse, they do not reply to my e-mails. I have serious doubts that WPML has ever been paid for for my website.
Can you please check if there has been any account or registration for my website ? The e-mail of the IT company is info@webweaver.be or support@webweaver.be.
Hello Roos,
I have found their account, the site is registered through it. To give you access to it will need to contact them and get their consent. Shall I do this on your behalf? Please confirm.
Many thanks for you quick reply. I have asked another time about the registration key but they are simply not responding.
Can you please tell me what kind of package they bought, is it the blog version or the CMS ? If it was only the blog version it explains a lot of my issue and I will need to change to the CMS version anyway.
If they bought the CMS version already you may contact them on my behalf.
Hello Roos,
I cannot find the records by the emails you shared and my colleague Mercedes is on holidays right now. Please note that you can see the registration key in your WordPress. Please go to plugins -> add new and switch to the Commercial tab. You will know immediately if WPML is registered or not.
I have issues with the string translation table and therefore I need your help.
When I wanted to contact support from the back-end, now about one week ago, I was receiving the message that I had to de-register and re-register WPML….
So I de-registered WPML at that time but I can’t re-register as I don’t have a key.
The It company I work with (webweaver.be) doesn’t provide me the key, they don’t reply to my e-mails.
What is important is that I need the CMS version of WPML and I do not know what license was bought by the IT company….
So I am considering to buy a new CMS-license but I’d like to know first what version was bought by the IT company I work with.
As they don’t provide me any information I have to receive it from you.
Sorry in your previous reply you wished me happy christmas and I wasn’t sure if you need any help. I didn’t find your company in our system but I concluded that my colleague Mercedes (who has access to some other records) did. So I cannot help you to find what subscription was bought by your company but I’ll ask my coworkers to help with this. We will keep you posted.
In one of your responses I’ve read that it is possible to add a new domain name in a WPML translation. So the main domain name might be football.com and instead of adding football.com/nl you could choose voetbal.nl as domain name in the Dutch translation. Did I understand that correctly ?
Now if that is so, do I need extra licenses for the theme and for WPML ? How does it work. If you use a new domain name for a translation is it viewed as a different website or not ?
Hello Roos,
yes, that’s correct, you can WPML with different domains per language but in this case some extra setup on your server will be required as described in details here.
You don’t need any extra license neither in this case, not in any other case, since our licensing system allows you to use one WPML subscription for all of your projects. This is what we mean by “Websites UNLIMITED” in our pricing table.
I have been writing to you before X-Mas about issues with a license key. I hope you recall my e-mail (18 december). In the meantime I had contact with Agnes Bury but she couldn’t help me.
I hope we can proceed with my questions. I had contact today with the IT-business (webweaver.be) who now say that they have one key for all their contacts and that is the reason why they ‘can’t’ provice it … Is that possible ?
If so can you please tell me which one they used in my website: blog version or CMS version ? And when does it expire ?
If they have applied a blog version to my website that explains already a part of the problems I am facing…
If they are right and they do have a license, there’s no need to contact them. I will then buy a new license but I’d like to have things straightened out before.
Hello Roos,
thanks for contacting us again. I’m sorry for the delay. I was on holidays. My colleagues tell me that this company has a lifetime license. If you have any other questions, please use this form https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/.
Hi! Currently, I have a Dutch website. Let’s call in mywebsite.nl url. I want to translate my website to English and to give it an international appeal, I purchased mywebsite.com. I was wondering if it is possible to connect this mywebsite.com url to mywebsite.nl via WMPL. So, I would like wmpl to translate the content of my websitesite.nl (Dutch) to mywebsite.com (English .com website).
Is this possible? Or will the url of the translated website always have the .nl extension?
Hopefully, my question is clear. If not, please let me know.
Hello, you can configure WPML to be used with different domains per language but some extra setup on your server will be required. Please check out the details here.
Hello, it should work. Let us check it for you. Please use this contact form and send us your VAT number, we will check it for you. Please let us know which country do you come from.
Hello, thank you for your interest in WPML. I’m sorry but we don’t have any special offers for non-profit organizations (we used to have, but no longer do).
Hello,
WPML is compatible with the Easy Digital Downloads plugin, which means it’s been tested by our Compatibility Team but our Compatibility Team hasn’t tested the DGWork theme. This page says that the theme works with WPML. You can buy WPML and check it yourself, keeping our return policy in mind.
I am developing a new website on my laptop using WordPress, Divi 3.0 and a child theme I purchased online (http://wpwebdesign.xyz/) and WampSever64. The website is not live.
If I purchase WPML, can I use it in this offline environment and later on when the website goes live using it there also?
We are looking at using the lifetime option for a number of our PBN websites. And if they are succesful at increasing traffic, will be using it on our main sites. We will be adding the translations ourselves. However, I wanted to ask if it creates a new SEO friendly url for each translated post/page with the designated language specified in the url (i.e at the start ot end /en /de etc.). I also want to know if it shows the language automatically from the browser that people are using. For instance, if someone from Germany is searching for something our site offers, will it show the German article/page automatically; or if an English page is chosen – show them the German version. Additionally, is it possible to change the language with a selector at the bottom, a widget or menu?
I wanted to ask if it creates a new SEO friendly url for each translated post/page with the designated language specified in the url (i.e at the start ot end /en /de etc.).
Yes, it does. When you translate a page or a post, a new WordPress post/page is created but in a diffrent language so the same rules applies: the url of the post reflects the post/page title but you can change the slug if needed.
I also want to know if it shows the language automatically from the browser that people are using.
We have an option to make that happen but it’s disabled by default. We recommend using a language switcher instead, which answers your last question. You can insert the language switcher into your footer, add it to your menu or to the sidebar.
Hello Chris,
yes, but please note that WPMl doesn’t translate your content automatically. You need to provide the translations (or you can use one of the professions translation integrated with WPML). You can add any language to WPML. Myanmar (Burmese) in not on our default list of language so you would need to add it manually, as explained in this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
Thanks for the reply i’ve purchased the lifetime WPML CMS. May i know how can i pass the info to my outsourced web developer while not compromising on security of my login details etc. for the WPML plugin?
Hello Chris,
Agnes is away already. If you do not want to give your developer your login details I suggest you download the files and send them to him. You will need to generate the subscription key for him so that he registers WPML to receive updates automatically in your wp-admin. You can see the steps to get the subscription key here https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
My developer is requesting for my subscription key in order to liaise with your support. Is the subscription key the “site key”? Is it safe to give him? Thanks!
Hello Chris,
to contact our support help you don’t need to have a subscription key. You need to have an active WPML account. If your developer wants to help you, you can share your credentials with him and later, once the work is done you can change the password.
I’d like to use a simple landing page where visitors are asked to choose between 2 languages so that they will be able to read the complete site in the language of their choice (instead of having a language switcher at the top of each page) . Does WPML include such a option (if so, in which package)?
Thanks
Hello Ignas,
so you would need to add two links to your landing page and point each of them to the appropriate language version of your site. Provided your site exists in two languages, let’s say English (primary) and German (secondary) the English part would be available under yourdomain.com and the German one would be available under yourdomain.com/de. These would be the two links you would add to your landing page.

Hi, sorry for my late reply but I didn’t have anything for BF anyway.
I would like to know if I can create a site only in one language and latter install wpml and translate to others?
Is there anything that I can do while I create the original site to make it easier when I start to translate it?
Regards,
Paulo
Hello Paulo,
yes, you can create a site only in one language and latter install WPMLl and translate to others. No problems.
If you haven’t chosen your theme yet, please choose one that is compatible with WPML.
Hi, I am using your WPML plugin, it is registered.
I really need to post a ticket but I can’t seem to get it done. Do I need to buy support or in what way can I access your forum with a new ticket ?
Your plugin is used in combination with the Book Your Travel WordPress theme of Themeforest and installed by an external company.
Many thanks for you reply,
Hello,
every user of WPML can create tickets in our support forum. You just need to make sure that your WPML is active (hasn’t expired) and you need to be logged in. Then you visit the page https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ and choose the “Open a new support ticket” option.

Hi this is a very interesting option that could be very useful to me !
Is it possible and useful (in terms of SEO) to also change (translate) the domain name and not only the extension ?
I my case that would be a holidaysdolomites.com as a general name and a vakantie-dolomieten.nl as the dutch name ?
Many thanks for your reply !
Yes, that’s also possible but to some extra setup on your server would be required. This page explains the details: https://wpml.org/2016/04/use-wpml-different-domains-per-language/
Thanks, that was just the information I needed !

Hi
I sell digital products using Woocommerce, and would like to know if I can have seperate product downloads for each language option in WPML??
I can see you recommend using Easy Digital Downloads for this, but I am only interested in using WooCommerce
Thanks
Berit
Hi, yes, when you translate products using WPML, you can also “translate” downloadable products.
