I need your support for a proper uninstall.
Recently, I used WPML for several days before retracting.
I followed the dedicated troubleshooting procedure for clean uninstall.
However, since then, I’m receiving update notifications about languages almost every day.

I am starting to develop a site locally. I want the site to be bilingual at this time, and I don’t want to use machine translation or Google translate. I will be translating manually.
I was researching plugins for Multilingual WO sites and came across Polylang first. I won’t ask you to comment on Polylang so please bear with me. I watched a video on Polylang and everything looked super easy. No doubt WPML can do te same and more. But when it got to the time to do the actual translation, Polylang defaults to a blank post/page. In other words, it looks like you have to create the page structure and content from scratch, which I really inefficient. I would have thought that for somebody translating on the fly, it would be so much easier to have the page in the primary language displaying when you are doing the translation into the secondary language. Then the whole page structure is already there and you can just write your translation over it., without having to recreate the page structure, the typography settings etc.
Would you please let me know whether I can do just that in WPML?
For info, if it is relevant, I will be using the Total theme and WPBakery principally.

We are not a European company, but we are registered in Europe for VAT reporting. If you are buying for a business, you can enter your VAT number in the order and we will not charge VAT from you.
For sure, you will be able to translate the SEO information of individual pages. About archives, I’m not sure. I didn’t know that Thesis theme still exists. If it’s under active development, our compatibility team will be very happy to work with the theme author, to make sure that all strings are correctly translatable.

Updates for translations are done by WordPress itself. If you would like to confirm yourself, you can test changing the site language to English and you will see that you will receive no more notifications. https://codex.wordpress.org/Dashboard_Updates_Screen#Update_Translations

Thanks for your interest. Good news for you! Yes WPML can do this. You can choose to duplicate the content upon translation so that the page/post or whetever content of your site is duplicated and you can then add the translation itself.
