Hello,
other transactions are going through normally which makes us think that there is an issue with your individual credit card. Please try again and it doesn’t help, contact your bank for details. You might also want to try PayPal or a different card.
Hello i would like to translate 1 web page with subdirectories which contains the ‘elementor’ plugin. Should I choose this plan -> WPML Multilingual Blog – $39 (USD) ?
Hi,
Good day, a pre-sales question.
Before purchasing I want to make sure that when I create a new version of the product for translations. it will hold the same SKU and woocommerce will accept it without considering it a duplicate SKU.
One more thing, do you accept credit card payment rather than paypal?
1. Yes, you can.
2. Yes, you use your credit card too (on your checkout page choose “Use a different payment processor” – last link below the Place order button)
I want to translate my first site, I am in the process of getting a site-key and I see “there are 20000 credits to asign”.
Looking at the pricing table on your website, my plan has 90000 credits, can you tell me why I only have 20000 please?
Hello Richard,
you are right, you should see 90 000 credits if you haven’t translated anything yet but I can see that it’s been a while since you bought WPML (in August 2021). Are you sure that you haven’t set up any other site (including your development sites) with the Translate Everything mode turned on that might have consumed some of your credits? If you are absolutely sure that this is your only site and you didn’t translate anything automatically please open a ticket on our support forum to sort this out: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ Here, in pre-sales questions I don’t have access to the tools our technical supporters do.
One of my clients (with his own WPML account) has bought a WPML (CMS version) for one website, but cancelled the renewal (website should still be running but we do not need updates at the moment.)
Now the same client likes to build another website with WPML.
I assume he should buy a new license for the other, new website now.
Question:
How to do this in the way that NOT the old key for the first will be re-activated, but that a new key for the other, new website will be generated?
I’ve just tried to go through the order process with the “Add new site” button.
I was then once forwarded/redirected to the $99 offer, another time to the $79 offer.
However:
it was not clear if or what was for a new website and what would only re-activate the old key for the other website.
So, how to go through the order process to get a new key for the new website, but NOT an update for the old key.
Hello Thomas,
if they canceled their WPML subscription, they need to buy it again for $99. If they do it when being logged in to their WPML account, they can still use the same email.
If you have your own WPML subscription and you can also register their site on your WPML account (if you have enough slots available). You can register and unregister the sites (site keys) as many times as you want so long as you don’t exceed the limit of total active sites to register within the type of subscription you have (the CMS type of account allows you to register up to 3 production sites and 9 development sites). But to do so, you need to have an active WPML subscription.
Hello, this is true (one credit = one word) only if you use the Microsoft Azure translation engine. WPML supports three translation engines:
Microsoft 1 word = 1 credit
Google Translate (default) 1 word = 2 credits
DeepL 1 word = 3 credits
Hello,
I think you posted your question without finishing it. Please let me know what kinds of templates you have in mind. WPML allows you to manually translate the pages.
Thank you for your response. Do you know if its one word per language or one word for all languages you need translated? E.g if I need the word “hello” translated, will it take one credit per language or is it just one credit and I can have the word translated in as many languages as I please?
I’m comparing translation solutions and want to know how WPML handles situations where a post has been translated from English to other labguages, but then, at a later date, the English Post gets edited.
In that situation, will WPML somehow alert me that some text needs to be translated?
Hi, I am planning to purchase Multilingual CMS for WordPress. The website we plan for translations is running on Avada Theme, I would like to know if it’s compatible with Multilingual CMS for WordPress package and does it comes with the credits for translation or would it need to be purchased separately?
Hello Harkishen,
Yes, WPML Multilingual is compatible with Avada and you can follow this tutorial in order to translate your site.
Also, when you buy WPML, you get a 90000 free credits between any language and 2.000 new credits every month. Now, if you need more than that you can modify your monthly subscription or buy some pre-paid packages.
I hope it helps.
Since 2019, a subscription has been withdrawn from my VISA card.
Unfortunately, I only noticed this with the December 2021 invoice. I do not know your company and I would like to cancel this subscription with immediate effect and request an urgent refund of the NOT authorized money deduction.
Sincerely, I remain

Where can I get a Email Adress to writte you??
I need to keep an evidence of this please!
i’m confused with this credit thing (https://wpml.org/purchase/pre-sales-questions/#comment-5268063) … what i need is to install the plugin and do the translation manually, will this need extra charges to work or only the annual subscription (Multilingual CMS 99$) ?? can you explain this credit system and if it is necessary for WPML to work? thanks
Hello Amine,
If you are planning to translate your website manually you don’t need to buy extra credits, this is only required for people using machine translation.
As you pointed out, just need to buy an annual subscription for Multilingual CMS.
Regards
I want to purchase the plugin. I have a business registered in the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are a part of Spain, but not part of the EU VAT zone. Businesses here can not receive a VAT ID and sales made to the Canary Islands should be free from Spanish VAT – it is actually illegal to collect it and I cannot claim it back.
It is the same situation as in the Aland Islands for which you have an entry in the country dropdown that works correctly (0% VAT even though it is part of Finland). An entry in the country dropdown titled “Canary Islands” with 0% VAT would solve the problem.
I am administering a web page. My issue is as follows:
A blog post or a page on the website can either be in Dutch or Turkish.
There is no language separation on the back-end.
We would like to use WPML to translate both languages without changing the webpage structure. Is it possible? If so, which plan is required to achieve it.
Hello Tuna,
You will need to choose one of the languages as the source and then translate the content to the other language.
You will not be able to keep both languages as the source, if this is what you are looking for.
See here how the language set-up works https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/
My name is Frederik and I am interested in buying the WPML Plugin. I would like to know if a localization is possible with the WPML Plugin for WordPress? So that there would be a chance to show on my website different content for a person from Portugal and for a person from Brazil, allthough they have the same language?
Hello Frederik,
Thanks for your interest. WPML is a language-based plugin. It is not country-based.
You would need to use another plugin to do this. You can see a list of integrated plugins with WPML to do this here https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/geotargeting/
I am running a WordPress Woocommerce website. I want to add 2 others Multilanguage to my website (English, Arabic).
I see that I need to choose “Multilingual CMS” Plan. I want to do a manual translation so no need for auto translation.
My question is if I cancel the renew. do I lose the translation I made after 1 year and the ability to translate any thing after 1 year.
Hello Mohamed,
If you don’t renew you will not lose the translated content but you will no longer have access to updates and support
More info here https://wpml.org/home/terms-and-conditions/
Thank you very much for your quick reply!
So, I could first install WPML and then additionally one of those plugins you have listed on the link to use the localization, right? All of them would be compatible with WPML, right?
Hello, I want my website to be opened in the language of the country from which it is accessed. For example, if a user from Germany wants to enter my website, it is in german. If someone from France wants to access my website, I want it to be opened in French. Does your plugin meet this request?
Thanks! I have set up a user account with this email address in our system. An automatic mail with the credentials to log in was sent to you.
You are welcome to log in and you will be able to purchase VAT-free.
Hello, that’s my first time buying WPML, I have a couple of questions:
1. is there is a lifetime license or not?
2. What happens if I didn’t renew my license for a yearly license, I will be able to use the plugin and translate normally but I will not get the support or new updates?
3. can I use the Multilingual CMS package for more than one site? or just one site?
4. If I already purchased the Multilingual CMS with a specific email, can I use this email to buy another package for another website or I should have a new email?
Hello Mahmoud,
Let me answer your questions in order:
1. No, we don’t have a lifetime license anymore.
2. Exactly, you won’t have access to support and updates. Furthermore, only manual translation should be available from the expiration moment.
3. If you buy our Multilingual CMS package, you will have access to 3 registration keys. Instead, the Multilingual agency package has unlimited licenses.
4. If you want to have different subscriptions, you should use a different email. However, if you are planning to translate several sites, the Multilingual Agency package may fit you better.
5. Yes, WPML is compatible with Elementor.

Hello,
in order to use WPML with the Elementor plugin, you need the WPML Multilingual CMS ($99) package. The Blog package won’t suffice in your case.

Hi,
We need to buy a license for one of our clients (Multilingual CMS), but we can’t do it without registering you as a supplier.
To do so, we need you to send us your email and billing contact along with these documents:
Certificate of Tax Residence
Bank Certificate
Thanks!
We are registered in Hong Kong but the tax office does not issue such a certificate, unfortunately.
Hi Agnes,
Thank you for your response. Do you know if its one word per language or one word for all languages you need translated? E.g if I need the word “hello” translated, will it take one credit per language or is it just one credit and I can have the word translated in as many languages as I please?
Hello Georgia,
The cost for automatic translation is calculated on a language basis (you pay per language) and the Translation Engine selected as explained here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#choosing-a-translation-engine
I hope it helps.

I need to translate the motopress villagio theme + motopress hotel booking plugin
It’s oks to choose the first option “Multilingual Blog 39€” ?

Hello Island,
A site with bookings is not longer considered a blog, so most probably you will need a Multilingual CMS package.
