Hi, which version of extension to buy for working with Avada builder for a multilingual wordpress? the $39 is enought or need the CMS version for $99? Thank you. Regards
Hello David,
the WPML plugin (when purchased within the Multilingual CSM or Agency package) offers automatic translations. WPML communicates with Microsoft Azure, Gooogle Translate and DeepL using relevant APIs but this is hidden from the WPML user meaning you don’t provide any API keys. To translate automatically you need translation credits. When you buy the Multilingual CSM package you will get 90 000 credits for free, which allows you to translate 45 000 words if you use the Google Translation engine. If you need more credits you need to sign up for the “Pay as you go” service and then you pay according to the following pricing table: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
Translated content can be updated/edited manually at any time.
No, this is not possible. The invoice is issued automatically when placing the order. We can prepare a kind of Pro-forma invoice. You would need to send us an email via this form: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
Thank you, but it is not my question, I’m a software dev and one of my client want to integrate WPML with an in-house software. Can we use your API or go in a database to automate the process?
Hi guys,
1. Is WPML plugin works in wordpress.com blog/site?
2. is it possible create subcategory for each language, i.e may main website is https://braustralia.com/blog the version translated to spanish to be https://braustralia.com/es/blog?
3. Is it possible to do one week trial, as in the past I was using GtranslationPRO plugin but I want to migrate to MPML plugin but I’m still not 100% sure how your pluggin works
Hello Roger,
1. Yes, that is possible.
2. You would need to buy WPML but our refund policy allows you to test it for 30 days without risking your money.
I want to purchase WPML .
As per tutorial from Ferdy, I cannot find any discount when I visited the link. https://ferdykorpershoek.com/wordpress-wpml-tutorial/
As a new serious customer, may I have a special friendly discount? I would like to purchase multilingual agency.
Thank you.
you website states that I need to enable: Apache’s rewrite module to be able to use your plugin. What if we are using Nginx and OpenLiteSpeed and not Apache – will the plugin work on those servers as well?
Thanks for your kind reply.
So no promotion right now? When do you usually give away promotional discount or discount coupon code?
Can I purchase only for one year first as I am doing diy at my own pace ? I do not wish to have auto-renewal after one year, yet.
Thanks
Nope, we do not currently offer any promotions. In fact, we rarely have promotions or promotional coupons. If you don’t want your WPML to auto-renew after the first year, you need to cancel your WPML subscription. You can do it at any time from within your WPML account and still use the WPML plugins – as soon as you log in, you will find a link/place to do so.
Is this possible with WPML to keep the main website URL as it has always been?
2. The language of the Indian version website will stay as English.
I wish to geo-target users from India to the Indian version.
Is this possible with WPML?
3. Some content will be duplicate on main site and Indian version website. (As both are in English)
Is this supported with WPML without running into SEO issues?
4. I would not be duplicating every piece of content in the Indian version website.
Some content (pages, posts, advertisement blocks) will unique to Indian Version and some content will stay unique to the Main site (ie it will not display at all in the Indian version website)
Is it possible in WPML?
5. i understand the WPML is not built targeting multiple country versions but rather targeting multiple language versions.
(I) What does this mean for me? What challenges do I expect?
(II) would you recommend using WPML in this scenario?
2. WPML can automatically redirect visitors according to their browser language. This feature is disabled by default and you would need to turn it on in WPML > Languages
3. Yes, we provide the duplicate feature and when doing so we set a correct attribute not to disturb SEO.
4. Yes, this is possible. Please don’t choose “Translate Everything” when setting up WPML. If you have a lot of pages that you need to duplicate you will also need to disable the ATE editor (Advance Translated Editor) on these pages (on the pages you want to duplicate instead of translating).
5. Yes, when setting up WPML, you will need to choose relevant languages. The list of default languages is here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/pre-configured-languages/ – if you need other languages, you can also add them but as “custom languages” which means, you need to follow this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
Hello Daniel,
we can delete your WPML account but we need to get a request from your email address (the one you used when buying WPML) so be sure this is you and nobody else requesting this. Please send an email from your email account to hello@wpml.org saying what you want to be deleted. If you’ve been using a translation credits account and you want this account to be deleted too, please also say it in your email.
I’m considering buying your plug in for the above site. It is in English and we want to have a Welsh version. My client has had all the text translated already but I need something so I don’t have to duplicate the site and have an English version and a Welsh version but just one version that will be available in Welsh and English. Is this doable?
Thank you for your interest in WPML Paul. I don’t understand what you mean to by saying “just one version that will be available in Welsh and English”. What do you mean by “one version”?
Thank you for your interest in WPML Paul. I don’t understand what you mean by saying “just one version that will be available in Welsh and English”. What do you mean by “one version”? When you add more than one language (even if these are different English languages) you will have more than one version. I’m a bit confused, please help me better understand what you mean.
I have a few templates which are hard coded (I.E. direct HTML within a template-home.php). Am I able to translate the text on these pages using WPML? If so, will you point to the documentation that outlines this process?
To use WPML on a site you need to register it. With the Multilingual CMS package you can register up to three domains but in order to test WPML on other domains (test domain, localhost, ect) we allow you to register 9 additional sites as “development” sites. For developments sites you will see a banner in your admin saying that’s a development site.
i have face one issue with this plugin.
issue is i have translate product page.
but some product page open language translate page and some product page is not open product translate page.
how to fix this issue.
please help me about this issue.

Hi. You need the CMS package in this case.

Thank you.
It appears that you don’t have an American flag as an option. Why not?
Hi Stephen,

Hi, i would like to know if there is any cost on top of the plugin cost to use the API?
With this API, can we get the source content and update the target content as well?
Thank you

Thank you for clarifying what you meant by API. No, this is not possible.

Hi there,
Does WPML change the internal language of wordpress, which is what I am looking for, when the language is switched at the front end?
If it does, will this change the internal language for the admin at the backend?
Cheers

Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML.
1. Yes, it’s possible to keep your existing URL as http://www.wtravelmagazine.com but please note that WPML creates folders for languages according to the language code (name). I’m not sure which specific languages you would like to add. If you add Hindi, you will get http://www.wtravelmagazine.com/hi, if you add Indonesian you will get http://www.wtravelmagazine.com/id etc. If you need a different code than the default ones, you will need to edit the language(s) on the Edit language screen in WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/#adding-your-own-languages-using-wpmls-gui

hello, do you have a discount available for non-governmental organizations? I would like information on the subject.
Hello,
yes, we offer a 50% discount for non-organizations. Please apply here: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
Please delete my account.
Thank you

Please send an email from your email account to hello@wpml.org saying what you want to be deleted. Hi,
I need to know if WPML String Translation and WPML Translation Management are free after I buy the main WPML Multilingual CMS for WordPress?
Thanks
Yes, the WPML String Translation and WPML Translation Management plugins are included in the Multilingual CMS package.
I have found my answer in the pricing page.

I wanted to renew my subscription but at the payment process, only PayPal is available. I want to pay via Credit Card.
Thanks
You need to click “Use a different payment processor” and you will be able to use your credit card.
Hello!
I have a few templates which are hard coded (I.E. direct HTML within a template-home.php). Am I able to translate the text on these pages using WPML? If so, will you point to the documentation that outlines this process?
Hello,
To make strings hardcoded in a PHP file translatable you need to wrap them inside the so-called gettext functions – check this page from WordPres Codex to learn more:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference/gettext
Then, you can translate these strings via the WPML String Translation panel. You can see some details in this thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translate-hardcoded-strings/#post-1547937

Hi Agnes,
there is no “Use a different payment processor” button on the order form. After clicking “Place Order” it redirects to PayPal.
See Screenshot: https://myswissbionic.com/screenshot.png
Hello,
I’m gonna check it with our admins. Are you from Germany? In the meantime, please try a different brower.
The invoice should go to our company in Switzerland. For the screenshot i selected the wrong country.
So you are from Germany but you are selecting Switzerland on your checkout form?
I tried with a different browser, same issue here.
Our admins and developers are asking when exactly you are being redirected to the PayPal page. What do you click last?
It redirects exactly after clicking on the orange “Place Order” button at the end of the form (see Screenshot).
I am sitting on a Computer in Germany but the company is located in Switzerland.
Thank you. You need to click the “Use a different payment processor” – the last link on your screenshot.
