I want to purchase the $99 package, and I got the message the card was declined, I use this card always online. I noticed also that I do not have an option to create an account, only to log into an account.
Hello,
yesterday we switched from USD dollars to EUR. I’m not sure if this is related but you are mentioning $99 package so it might be. Please try again, in a different browser and let us know again. I cannot see any record of your orders in our system yet.
Hi,
We are looking for a translation solution for our WooCommerce-shop: shavingroom.se
– Shavingroom.se will always be our main site and in Swedish
– We want to expand with an English version located on .com Shavingroom.com, maybe other languages in the future, but for now Swedish for .se and English for .com
– The translation has to be automatic with AI/Google translate or other automatic services. It has to be able to translate everything on our site, on the fly as we update or add new pages, products, and so forth.
Can your service do this?
We had a developer build the website for us using WPML but we see that it isn’t registered. I wanted to know how many do I need to buy and what would the cost sums-up to. We have these plugins installed:
Contact Form 7 Multilingual
MailChimp for WordPress Multilingual
WPML Multilingual CMS
WPML String Translation
Hello,
in this case, you need to buy the Multilingual CMS package which costs 99 euros. If you decide to use WPML for the next years, then you pay around 75 euros for each year.
thanks for your email, I asked also the accountant and I don’t have my card with dollar account so I will need please an invoice with the sum and then we could pay it with bank transfer. Our company info are: SC Alfa Test SRL
Hello,
I am afraid we don’t accept wire transfers. You should be able to pay. If this still doesn’t work can you let me know the last 4 digits of your card?
Hello I have a WP ALL IMPORT plugin (WAI) issue with another language plugin (ALP) instaled. The problem appears every time I run new download of products to my eshop via WAI automatic or manual import from URL xml source. It makes all my products invisible and in the ALP admin I get an announcement ” There are posts, pages, categories or tags without language. You can set them all to the default language.” Products appear again only when I hit the link provided to set the language again. Will the migration to WPML fix the problem?
To answer your specific question, your imports will be assigned the language that you have placed in the import template with the default action being to use the default language. I did not find any report of the behaviour you described in our current support forum.
I hope this answers your question sufficiently. Please do take the time to fully review our documentation to get a better idea about the features and functions of our WP All Import solution.
I’m building a custom wp theme with a multisite setup using ACF. I’d like to know if I can use the multilingual feature of WPML in a multisite setup using ACF Pro? If I am correct I need a license for WPML as well as ACFML (https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/) for this, is that correct or what would the setup look like?
Does this setup then work with a wordpress multisite setup?
1. With the WPML CMS license, you have access to download our ACFML bridge plugin as well. There is no separate license for ACFML.
2. You asked: “Does this setup then work with a WordPress multisite setup?”
My answer: Our plugin works with multisite setups but not in a *distributed* manner. That is to say that you can install WPML CMS in the network or in each site instance. But the translation of each of these sites is assumed to be within the same WordPress database. It will not posts in one site of the network with posts in another site of the network as translations of each other.
I’d like to purchase the WPML plugin for my website but noticed that since I’m accessing the website in Spain, the pricing automatically switches to euro. I’m interested in the middle option but would like to pay in dollars and not in euros. 99 euros is at least $8 more than the American price of $99. I would be paying with my American card for my American-based website, so I don’t see why I should be charged those extra bucks. Is there a way to pay in dollars accessing it from Spain? (I don’t have a VPN).
Thank you for your quick response, I think that answers my question. So I only need to buy the WPML CMS license, that’s good. The link you provided looks like exactly what I need. So for now, I don’t have questions anymore.
Om Hello Support Pre Sales Support Team
I hope you are doing well
I’m yoga instructor in both language : English and French
I have 2 versions for each videos : one French and one English
I’m trying to find a solution to show these video in their respective environment
I have tried your online demo version and I was not able to do so
I created a page with inserting a title, text content and video
the title of page, title of section and text content : yes I can translate
but not the video : I tried to look for the string also… could not find it neither
is there is a possibility to show a different video for each language environment ?
If yes, can I receive a hint on how to do so ?
Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML.
How do you insert video into your sites? Is this an Elementor widget for videos? If so, which one? To place a different video you could also try the following:
1. Open the page (that contains the video) for editing
2. Switch off WPML translation editor
3. Copy the contents of the page when creating a translation
This way you will be able to manage both pages independently and insert the video of your choice
This is explained here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#how-to-use-manual-translation
You mentioned a WPML demo. Can I ask which link are you referring to? Where did you find this demo. Thank you.
I own a web agency and im currently paying Weglot a monthly fee of £300 to transalte a clients site, i now have 3 other clients who require it and i think weglot is expensive. YOu state $199 per year but is that it?
How do you define a translation credit? you offer 180,000 for the $199 package, what does that mean?
Does your tool automatically translate to the desired language?
does the whole site translate, so content, SEO to include page titles etc
how long does a site typically take to translate?
i seem to get mixed messages on your site and that makes me feel its too good to be true, you state one off fees but there are also pay as you go credits, are these 2 separate payment/account levels or is it $199 then pay as you go on top?
2. Does your tool automatically translate to the desired language?
Yes, it does. You have a few options to choose from:
a) Enable the so-called “Translate automatically” mode which will translate your entire site and then, whenever you add or update your content, it will update the corresponding translation
b) Visit the Translation Management panel and choose pages to be automatically translate in bulk
c) Open individual pages in WPML translation editor and click “Translate automatically”
3. does the whole site translate, so content, SEO to include page titles etc
WPML can translate SEO titles etc.
There might be some elements that cannot be automatically translated especially if your site uses a less popular theme or plugin.
4. how long does a site typically take to translate?
A few minutes. When WPML translates your content it will indicate the progress and show you the number of remaining pages. Of course the more language you translate your site to, the more it takes.
WPML works differently compared to Weglot. Once a specific page is translated by WPML, the translation is saved in the so-called translation memory and every time the page is displayed on the front-end, it doesn’t involve any extra costs. Weglot charges according to page visits. You might need some extra credits if you decide to update your translation in the future but in this case, you there credits will be used for updated sentences (not for the entire page).
5. are these 2 separate payment/account levels or is it $199 then pay as you go on top?
Yes, if you decide to purchase the Agency plan, you will pay 149 euro for each year for your renewals (to maintain the plugin updates). Renewals are optional and WPML will continue working and you can keep your translations even if you cancel your WPML subscription (which is not the case with Weglot). You pay for credits independently and the details are explained here: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/ You can sign up for the “Pay as you go” which is attached to you site or you can buy pre-paid credits (which are more expensive compared to “Pay as you go”)
I hope this helps.
I have updated your email address. Please try to log in using the updated email. If you cannot, please use this link to reset the password: https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/ (and provide the new email)
Hey!
Can we use this plugin to show the specific language translation based on “visitor/ip or geo-location” automatically? And in addition, does this plugin offers other options in show language changer aside from “Flag icon, Country initial”?
I was in the process of buying the Multilingual CMS but it is asking me to create an account with Paypal. Is there any other payment method that you have? I do not want to create a Paypal account.
Yes, you can use your credit card. On the “checkout” page you will see a link entitled “Use a different payment processor” (at the bottom of the page, under the orange button). Please click on it.
Hello , i would like to buy your Multilingual CMS product but i have some questions ,
1- 99 euro for lifetime or only for a year .
2- What you mean by credit ? How can i check how many credit my website can spend ?
3- What is the maning of 3 production and 9 developement , i will have 2 website so this total credit for 2 website or each . What you mean by unlimited websites also ?
4- What you mean buy update only for a year ? After one year what will happen ?
1. It’s for the first year of getting WPML updates and support assistance. WPML will work even if you don’t renew/cancel your subscription but without updates and access to our support forum. If you decide to renew it, you will pay 74EUR for the next year because you will get a 25% discount.
2. Please check this page, it will help you understand how credits work https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/ You can check on your site using WPML how credits are spent. You go to WPML > Translation Managements > Tools.
You will get 90 000 credits when buy WPML which will allow you to translate 45 000 words.
3. Sites that you register as “development” will have a small banner added to your site’s footer saying that this is a development site. A similar banner will be displayed on your WordPress admin too. We introduced this feature to allow our clients to use WPML on more than 3 websites if they also have staging/testing environments. If you are testing WPML on a copy of your site, feel free to register it as “development” instead of production. With the CMS package, you can register 3 production sites and in addition, 9 sites as development sites. 12 websites in total. You can register and unregister your sites as many times as you want but you cannot get over the limits we have: 3 production sites and 9 development sites at a given time.
4. I answered this one in my first reply above. I hope it helps.
Hello Shadi,
we don’t have any promotional codes, I’m sorry.
If you decide to renew your WPML subscription, it will cost 74 euro (this is 25% discount) for the next year. You can cancel your WPML subscription and still use WPML but without plugin updates and without access to our support assistance. I hope this helps.
Is it possible to setup wpml with multiple domains + different language dirs? So it wont be a mix, always a directory per language (but could be on a different domains)
I think you are from India and that’s why. A while back card transactions from India were blocked due to Reserve Bank of India regulations which we believed have changed but we still need to adjust our system accordingly. So for now, PayPal seems to be the only option for you to purchase WPML.
Thanks for the quick reply! And that is unfortunate. So just to verify: all of the languages will be in a in a sub-directory (every sub directory is basically an WP instance on it’s own with one language), but spread over mulitple domains. I read the example in the FAQ and there they use a mix of sub-dirs and main domains, so I thought that was the problem or to be honest I couldn’t understand the underlying technical challenges.
Our setup would be:
Nl: example-dutch-region.nl/nl-nl – WP instance with WPML and 1 language: Dutch
En: example-dutch-region.nl/nl-en – WP instance with WPML and 1 language: English
Be-nl: example-belgian-region.be/nl-be – WP instance with WPML and 1 language: Flamish
Be-fr: example-belgian-region.be/fr-be – WP instance with WPML and 1 language: French
De: example-german-region.de/de-de – WP instance with WPML and 1 language: German
Paul, I don’t have good news. No, we cannot mix domains and folders, one of the expects on this topic (with whom I shared your details) just confirmed it.
I would like to purchase your translation tool Multilingual CMS. We need a package for only one production and one staging page incl woocommerce. Is it possible to get a custom offer since the offered packages are well beyond our needs?
Hello,
I’m sorry Nina, but we don’t provide any custom options. Only the three packages you can see and the Multilingual CMS is the one you need for your WooCommerce site. But thanks for checking.
I would like to purchase your translation tool Multilingual CMS. We need a package for only one production and one staging page incl woocommerce. Is it possible to get a custom offer since the offered packages are well beyond our needs?
So, can WPML translate all the locations, events etc. from Events Manager automatically?
If not, how are the translation stored in the database? Cause I can build something myself that will automatically translate content en post it to the database with the REST API. Will that work?
WPML stores the translation in your database but also in our translation cloud (if you use the automatic translation) to benefit from the translation memory. If you are planing to extend WPML with some custom solution, I recommend buying WPML with our refund policy in mind to test it out yourself and see how it works. You can test it for 30 days.
Hello. We are evaluating different multilingual plugins. I wonder, what happens if at some point I decide not to renew the CMS account? Do I lose everything translated? Probably we will choose to combine automatic translation of some pages and a translation service. Thank you!
Hello Alejandra,
I believe you have also contacted us through our Facebook pages?
If you don’t renew, you will lose updates and support but will be able to keep the translations on your site.

Hello Henrik,
thank you for your interest in WPML. Yes, WPML seems to be the tool for you.
1. WPML supports setting up different domains for languages but some extra steps are required to be done. Please check this tutorial for details: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/
2. WPML supports automatic translations with DeepL (the default) and Google Translate. You will get 90 000 translation credits when buying the CMS package which will allow you to translate 45 000 words. If you need extra credits, here’s the pricing: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
3. Yes, if you turn on the “Translate everything” mode, WPML will immediately translate your content automatically. The same applies to updates for existing pages.
Hello Agnes,
Thank you for the complete answer. I think I got all I need.

Hello David,
WPML and the bridge plugin, WPML All Import, does allow you to import in bulk/batch with language assignments. You can read more about the supported functionality here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/importing-multiple-languages-with-wp-all-import-and-wpml/
Kind regards.

Hello Cedric,

I hope these responses answer your questions.
Hello Maria,
I am afraid we no longer sell WPML in USD. We have moved all our pricing to EUR.

Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML.
Yes, WPML is cheaper than Weglot even if you need to buy extra translation credits if you run out of the 180 000 included in the Agency package. To answer your specific questions:
1. How do you define a translation credit?
2 words = 1 credit if you use DeepL (WPML’s default) or Google Translate translation engine
1 word = 1 credit if you set up WPML to use Microsoft’s translation engine
Please check the details here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-trredits:anslation-pricing/
You will also find an interactive calculator
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#how-automatic-translation-works-lnk

Hey!
Can we use this plugin to show the specific language translation based on “visitor/ip or geo-location” automatically? And in addition, does this plugin offers other options in show language changer aside from “Flag icon, Country initial”?
Thanks!
The Geo location option is available for the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin. If you plan to use WPML on a normal site, you can use the redirection feature: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/ instead.
In your language switcher you can use flags or language names or both. These are the most popular options. What is the option you would like to see?
I was in the process of buying the Multilingual CMS but it is asking me to create an account with Paypal. Is there any other payment method that you have? I do not want to create a Paypal account.
Yes, you can use your credit card. On the “checkout” page you will see a link entitled “Use a different payment processor” (at the bottom of the page, under the orange button). Please click on it.

Dear Support Team
Could you please provide a promotional code or discount for our upcoming purchase? I also need to know about renewal prices after 1 year
We are also interested in lifetime license options and would like to know more about them before proceeding. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi pre-sales-team,
Is it possible to setup wpml with multiple domains + different language dirs? So it wont be a mix, always a directory per language (but could be on a different domains)
Example:
Nl: example-dutch-region.nl/nl-nl
En: example-dutch-region.nl/nl-en
Be-nl: example-belgian-region.be/nl-be
Be-fr: example-belgian-region.be/fr-be
De: example-german-region.de/de-de
Looking forward to your reply and thanks in advance.
Cheers
Hello Paul,
I’m sorry but mixing domains with directories is not supported by WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/#frequently-asked-questions
I cannot see the option for paying with other methods where you have mentioned.. attached a screenshot:

I think you are from India and that’s why. A while back card transactions from India were blocked due to Reserve Bank of India regulations which we believed have changed but we still need to adjust our system accordingly. So for now, PayPal seems to be the only option for you to purchase WPML.
Hi Agnes,
Thanks for the quick reply!
Cheers Paul
Thank you Paul for summarising your setup. I will consult it with the developer who knows this topic inside and out and will get back to you.
Paul, I don’t have good news. No, we cannot mix domains and folders, one of the expects on this topic (with whom I shared your details) just confirmed it.
Hello,
I would like to purchase your translation tool Multilingual CMS. We need a package for only one production and one staging page incl woocommerce. Is it possible to get a custom offer since the offered packages are well beyond our needs?
Warm regards, Nina
Hello,
I’m sorry Nina, but we don’t provide any custom options. Only the three packages you can see and the Multilingual CMS is the one you need for your WooCommerce site. But thanks for checking.

Hello WPML team,
Before I want to buy WPML, I have some questions.
Is the automatic translation compatible with the Events Manager plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager/
So, can WPML translate all the locations, events etc. from Events Manager automatically?
If not, how are the translation stored in the database? Cause I can build something myself that will automatically translate content en post it to the database with the REST API. Will that work?
Best,
Benoit
Hello,
we are compatible with the Events Manager plugin but there is a known issue which you can read more about in here: https://wpml.org/plugin/wp-event-manager/
