Hello,
I will be handling the translations manually, but I have one question.
For a total of 7 websites, should I purchase the CMS package or the Agency package?
Hello Steven,
The CMS Multilingual package will allow you to install WPML in 3 different websites. Then, you will need the Agency package if you are planning to translate 7 websites.
Regards
I can see that the account associated with the email address you used to post this message has an “inactive” status. Please write to our accounts department here: hello@wpml.org. Explain the sequence of events and include any copies of invoices and payments made.
They should be able to help sort things out. In PreSales, I don’t have the access to help you.
I’m considering purchasing this plugin, but I’m not sure whether I should choose the Multilingual Blog or Multilingual CMS option.
My main goal is to translate my website into English first, and later possibly add more languages.
Here is my website so you can better understand the structure and advise me on the best option: https://www.medicinayurvedica.com
I’d really appreciate your recommendation on which solution would be the most suitable for my case.
Welcome,
I’am planning to run multilangual multidomain at OVH. For example I would like to run company.de, company.com on one hosting with different translations for company.de, company.com on one wordpress instance. It is possible to do it with your WPML on OVH host provider ?
We have clients using OVH who have asked questions related to WPML on our support forum. But to be sure about the level of compatibility, please check the minimal system requirements for WPML with them directly: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
hey there! I had a lifetime subscription but now when I enter to my WPML account, I don’t see my registered sites and it appears as I don’t have any active subscription. Is this a temporary bug or what happened?
I cannot see any account history for the gmail that you used to post this question. Are you sure you used *that* email to obtain the lifetime subscription?
In any case, please write to our accounts team with this issue: hello@wpml.org
It would be helpful for them if you would include a registered site domain they can cross-check account details with.
Kind regards.
Respecto a Bricks, lamentablemente no somos compatibles.
I noticed that in your $99/year plan description, there is a note about websites stating “3 production, 9 development.” Could you please clarify what this means?
Additionally, I would like to ask whether your interface is easy to use. Do you have any demo videos or documentation that could help us better understand how the platform works?
Finally, I was wondering if there are any current discounts or promotional offers available.
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to your reply.
Hi, I’m pasting here past conversation because I can’t figure out how to follow-up on original:
1) I just wanted to know if there’s a way I can get the plug-in and just purchase translation credits as needed without a subscription.
2) Also, will purchasing credits after subscription is canceled work?

“Hello Jp, You\’re welcome to purchase a CMS subscription and then cancel renewals. You will not receive updates or technical support from us after your subscriotion expires but you can keep WPML files as they are installed on your site. More info here https://wpml.org/purchase/wpml-renewal/”

Reminder – your question was:
“Hi, my client is looking for a one-time paid solution for his translations on a website that will not be getting much updates after launch. It’s just informative. But we need the AI translation feature. Can I purchase the Multilingual CMS ($99) plan for this, without having to adhere to a subscription? Obviously, if there’s any updates needed after a year, we would purchase if accordingly. Regards,”
HI!
I am afraid it’s not possible to buy credits without a WPML account. However if you already have an account and it expired you shold be able to buy more credits. You will lose access to support, so if anything goes wrong while doing this you will have to re-purchase in order to get help from us.
Hi, I have a question. Since you do not offer trials, I would like to make sure WPML will work for our site.
I have used TranslatePress & GTranslate and they both failed. And money got wasted.
Here you go:
Our site has a staging environment – eg: https://staging.mywebsite.com
We use WP2Static plugin to convert this static site, and use NGINX to push this static site to live site which is on the main domain- eg: https://www.mywebsite.com
Since both the plugins do not generate/convert real pages of the translated languages – WP2Static can convert only real WP pages and not dynamic translations to static. And the custom string translation do not work for us – it works only on the staging site but when we convert it to static site, it won’t work. It is still the normal, translated AI content – our strings won’t be ther.e
So my simple question is:
For a site like ours, will WPML work?
Will it generate new pages for every language we add?
Will it support custom String translation – where we can replace automatically translated words with our own strings so it will still work when the WP site is converted to static site?
And finally, In case if it does not work at all for us, what is the refund policy?
We don’t officially support WP2Static plugin, however, I couldn’t find any related issue in our archives.
Anyway, for answering your questions, WPML will generate a new entry for every page or post translated which makes me thing that WP2Static should work as well.
Finally, we have a 30 days refund policy, that means that during these days you can extensively use WPML and decide if it is the right tool for your project. https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/
I have purchased the WPML Multilingual CMS plan, which includes a total of 90,000 translation credits. Out of these, 10,000 credits have already been allocated and used on one of my staging (development) sites.
I still have 80,000 credits remaining. Could you please confirm whether I can increase the credit allocation for this same development site using the remaining credits, without purchasing additional credits?
yes you can allocate as many credits as you want for a single site, even in multiple batches.
Please understand that this page is meant for pre-sales questions. If you still have doubts about credits usage or anything else you should open a Support ticket. Thanks for understanding.
As you are already a paying customer, you should use the Support Forum to clarify any use questions. However, I can give a quick and general answer to your credit management question. You can always “manage” your pre-paid credit distribution and allocation from your WPML.org account dashboard.
Hello,
i cannot log in anymore in my wpml account. I have only a username and a password but now the login process requires an email. Can you please contact me via email?
Thanks

For a three site 90k credit installation I payed for last year (upto 9/25) Euro 74, now if I want to renew I see the price went op to Euro 99 which is more than a 25% increase (well above inflation), can you do something about this?
Hello,
last year you paid 74€ because it was a renewal for the subscription you already had since 2022, but you let it expire. We send a couple of reminder emails to explain we if you don’t renew, you’re going to lose the special price. So right now you’re not renewing WPML but buying a new subscription, which is 99€. We removed discounts for renewal in September 2024.
I undertstand, as most of the translation on our main site already have been done it is also just for maintenance now. Do the translations credits remain active (if so until which date)?
we need the WPML for the integration of WordPress with Phase, will the Multilingual Blog option be enough for us? We really need to understand asap with what option to proceed.
Hello Anna,
I guess that with Phase you are referring to your theme. If that’s the case and unless you only have a classic blog, The Multilingual Blog option will be fine. However, if you are referring to a WordPress website with strings, custom fields, page builders and/or a WooCommerce, you will need the Multilingual CMS option.

We have a WordPress multisite installation that we would like to potentially use WPML on. How does that work? if we have more than three sites attached to our multisite, do we need an agency license? Most of the sites use subdomain URLs and not main domains. Not all the sites will need to use WPML.
If one of our clients has their own WPML account, can we attach their account to just their site in our multisite installation?
I’ve read the documentation and it isn’t clear to me how that would work.
Hello Patty,
The multisite will count as one installation. See here https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/
As regards your client’s site, if they have an account, they can keep their site registered there. If you prefer, you’re welcome to re-register it through your account too so that you manage updates and support for them.
I’m interested in using WPML with the automated Microsoft/Azure translation integration and was wondering if this can be setup with an existing Azure account, or if I would have to use one of the provided WPML pricing options ( https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/ ) for this?
Basically, is there a way to integrate WPML with an existing Microsoft/Azure account and process the translation service related charges through it directly, or would I have to use one of the provided WPML pricing options, where charges are being handled through WPML then, and it’s not possible to integrate it with an already existing Microsoft/Azure account?
Hello Duncan,
I am afraid you won’t be able to use your own Microsoft/Azure translation account.
This is how it works: to use one of the provided WPML pricing options, where charges are being handled through WPML then, and it’s not possible to integrate it with an already existing Microsoft/Azure account
I would like more information about WCML Multi-currency for WooCommerce plugin and to understand if it is what I am looking for and need for my store.
I am not using your plugin yet. The main reason is that I am not sure how to manage accounting when customers pay in different currencies.
Before using/purchasing, I would like to confirm:
Can I view order details and invoices in my base currency (EUR) for accounting purposes?
Is the original customer-paid currency still saved in the order data?
Can reports and invoices be viewed or generated in EUR?
If it is not possible to view invoices or order details in EUR when customers pay in another currency, is it possible to have the shop display prices in the customer’s currency (like USD or GBP) but require that payment at checkout is always in my base currency (EUR)? In other words, the customer sees their local currency for convenience, but all payments and accounting are in EUR.
WCML Multi-currency for WooCommerce only offers a currency switcher, while the paid version allows to translate the shop. WCML supports all currencies (you can even set custom ones) and there are no limits to how many you can configure. You can see the full list of feature for WCML here, and for the paid version here.
Orders (and therefore invoices and reports) are displayed in the currency used at the time of purchase. Since exchange rates change day by day, it’s not possible to record the order using the exact exchange rate that was valid at the moment of purchase (also because it may vary depending on the payment method used).
The ability to charge the customer in a specific currency while receiving the payment in the site’s default currency depends on the payment method, not on the plugin. For example, PayPal offers this option.
For requirements, please refer to WPML Minimum Requirements page. Please note that latest WPML versions might not work with your version of WordPress, since it’s outdated.
We don’t offer a trial but we have a 30-days no question asked refund policy. For full WPML features and pricing, please refer this page.
