Symptoms:
I don't get the same view as the screenshot in step 3. When I press on the plus underneath the desired language, the expected view does not appear.
Questions:
What should I do to get the same view as the screenshot in step 3?
Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, I'd like to guide you through some initial debugging steps to speed up the support process.
To begin, please follow the below steps and let me know how it goes:
1. Take a backup of your site first for safety reasons.
2. We have recently released WPML 4.7.1, please update it to the latest version. You can update it from Plugins >> Add New Plugin page, click the Commercial tab, and then click the “Check for updates” button. Here is the screenshot for more details: https://wpml.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/wpml-force-plugin-update-1.png
3. Make sure Advanced Translation Editor is enabled on your site from the WPML >> Settings page as you can see in the attached screenshot.
If the issue persists, please share a screenshot or a short video using Loom or a similar tool, showing your screen to help us better understand the problem.
The video helped me quickly pinpoint what is causing this behavior.
See my screenshot, and notice that the WordPress Editor is selected, please switch back to the Translation editor if you are wishing to use the Advanced Translation Editor.
I see that did help. Thanks!
I see that deepL does only recognize our Title on the page when trying to translate stuff.
Most of our pages are ACF gutenberg blocks. so I assume those are not getting recognized by default?
