find out that the CPU consumption of my website (doubleknityarn.com.hk) is quite high during a time in the morning. Cloudways advised it may be related to the WPML CMS plugin.

Here is the message from Cloudways for your reference:
I found my website has consumed high CPU this morning, and Cloudways had the following replies:
"Doubleknityarn, thank you for your kind patience. I have checked this issue & I found that the server IP it self has the highest hits on the server. This may happen if there are any slow plugin or theme processes running.
Upon further investigation, I found that the plugin is generating slow requests on the application & consuming the server resources on higher end. Please find the log below:
Before restoring the site, a better approach will be to share the slow error log with the sitepress-multilingual-cms plugin team so that they can apply fix accordingly. The last option can be to restore.
Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.
According to the log and WPML log, I suggest you try some steps below, observe the issue again and let me know if it helps:
1. Update WPML plugins, maybe all other plugins and WordPress core to the latest version. Some performance issues are fixed in the new versions of WPML. Please follow the documentation https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#checking-for-updates
and read the changelog here https://wpml.org/download/wpml-multilingual-cms/?section=changelog
2. Deactivate the plugin "WooCommerce Show Single Variations".
3. Go to WPML > Languages > Disable option "Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality" and recheck everything on your site if it works properly.
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
