This website uses a page builder Plugin made by QuanticaLabs and when I edit a page in another language than the original one, after saving it all the content is gone.
I already chatted with them and they say everything is fine. That might be an issue with wpml.

For your kind information, the *Page builder by QuanticaLabs* plugin is not included on the WPML official compatibility list for the Plugins - https://wpml.org/plugin/. It does not mean that this plugin is not compatible with WPML, but our compatibility team has not tested it yet.
So we would like to know the exact steps you are following for translating the posts/page. Are you using WPML Advanced Translation Editor or Classic Translation Editor for translating posts?
It will be great if you can share a couple of screenshots or a screencast for a better understanding of the problem.

I believe I am using the classic translation editor.
Basically what happens is that when I edit a post/page this editor is saving the page content in the wp_postmeta DB table.
When I add block or edit block it automatically publishes/updates them without the need to save/update the post/page. And if I don't press the post/page publish/update button it works, but the moment I do that all the content is gone.

Now you are manually translating the page to a secondary language. Please try the following steps after a full site bckup{mandatory} and make sure the issue is existing or not.
1) Upgrade to the latest version of WPML(4.6.4 series)
2) Increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256* MB(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Please check the following links for more details
3) Increase the *MaxInputVars* of PHP settings to *10000*. Please check the following article for more details and contact your system admin/hosting provider for upgrading this configuration.
