Hi,

This is a split ticket. It was split from this ticket.

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/numerios-issue-after-activated-the-wpml/

In this ticket, we will help you with the following issue.

#Question 3
As I mention above, I brought the theme, and after I install the WPML. I clicked, the page I changed manually back to the original theme image. The image reference "After click the page change to coffe.jpg"

I can see the problem on your site where the demo content from the theme shows on the translated homepage. Please see the attached screenshot demo-content.jpg.

I accessed your site and found that you use WordPress's Translation Editor to edit the translations. I can also see on the homepage that the English translation needs to be updated. I can see that by the circled arrow icon. Please see the attached screenshot ws-editor-en.jpg. You need to edit the translation of the page and remove any demo content from there.

I can also see that you are using Elementor to design your site's pages. When using WPML and Elementor, we recommend translating the pages with WPML's Translation Editor. Please read our guide on working with WPML and Elementor.

https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/

You used WordPress's editor to translate the page. WPML allows the user to use WordPress's editor for editing translations. But then it is essential to follow our guide on how to do that correctly. Please see the guide at the following link.

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

The main point is that you must first duplicate the page from Chinese to English. This will also copy the settings of the page to the translation. Then you need to separate the English from being a duplicate of the Chinese page by pressing the "Translate independently" button.

After following the correct workflow, please ensure to clear the caching on your site to see the changes. In fact, it is better to disable any caching while developing the site.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

I'm glad the issue with the theme's demo content is solved.

For the WordPress menu issue, please go to WPML -> WP Menu Sync, and sync the Chinese and English menus. Please see the attached screenshot menu-sync.jpg. Please read about translating and syncing menus in our guide here.

I don't see this. The sub-menu items of "Others" are all translated, as I can see it. Please see the attached screenshot.

Hi,

Are you referring to this page?

hidden link

If so, the translation was "in progress". Once I completed the translation, the pages were connected. Please see the attached screenshots.
