Additionally, we discovered that the Translation Editor did not initially translate the specific text contents into English. Updating and resaving the translation resolved the issue.

Problem: The client's website is set to English by default, but when accessing the Contact page, the site switches to German. Solution: 1. Verify that the English language Contact page is set as Published and not Draft. 2. Check the settings in the Redirection plugin to ensure there are no rules specifically targeting the English language Contact page. 3. Re-save Permalinks by navigating to Settings >> Permalinks and clicking the “Save Changes” button. 4. Clear all types of cache on the site/server. 5. If the problem continues, take a backup of the site and then: - Deactivate all plugins except for WPML and its add-ons. - Switch to the parent Astra theme. - Reactivate each plugin one by one to find the one causing the issue.
Problem: I am having an issue with setting up redirections for domain aliases on my multilingual site using Rank Math, as it only works for the main domain.
Solution: To set up redirections for domain aliases, consider using the Redirection plugin available at https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/. However, be cautious with redirections as they may cause unwanted results, especially with different domains.
If you are translating content by yourself, the Advanced Translation Editor is WPML's default translation editor and recommended way of translating content. If you previously translated content using the Classic Translation Editor, we recommend that you continue editing those translations with the Classic Translation Editor. To translate content from plugins that are not compatible with WPML, you need to use manual translation.
Once a piece of content is translated with a specific method, you should stick to that method, otherwise, the translations will not remain in sync.
If needed, you can also change the main, otherwise known as default language of your site by going to WPML > Languages. When you change your site’s default language, the new default language becomes your site’s main language. It’s the first language users see when they visit your website. WPML also automatically adjusts your content and links to point to the corresponding language.
