Background of the issue:
I've moved my site to a new host/server, but the URL has stayed the same. I'm using WPML and encountered an issue after the move.

Symptoms:
I'm getting the message: 'WPML detected a new address for this site. Looks like this site was previously at hidden link and now it’s at hidden link.'

Questions:
Obviously the urls are the same. Please can you advise which option I should select here?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

You are getting this notification because of site migration from one host to another. Because the Advanced Translation Editor detects the change. Please choose the first option of the wizard *Yes / This is only a copy* after a full site backup and make sure the issue exists or not.

Please refer to the following documentation for more details.

Hi, ok I’ve selected ‘yes’ but then I’m asked if I want to share translation credits between the two (same) sites. I selected ‘yes’. Then I have to click a link to get a code, but clicking that link just redirects me to the start of the wizard?

Hello,

Have you subscribed to *Pay-As-You-Go* option of Advanced Translation Editor - https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-sign-up-for-pay-as-you-go/

Please try the following steps to register the site with a new key after a full site backup {mandatory} and make sure you are getting the expected result or not.

- Go to your account page (https://wpml.org/account/sites/)
- Delete the key for the site
- Go to Plugins>>Add New>>Commercial tab (of your site dashboard)
- Click on "Unregister WPML from this site"
- Refresh the page
- Click on "Get a key for this site"
- Copy the newly generated code
- Visit back to Plugins>>Add New>>Commercial tab
- Register the site with the new key

Please refer to the following documentation for more details.
