[Resolved] Split: The Estonian Shop page is missing
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with their WooCommerce Shop page. The Estonian Shop page is missing, and there are two Shop pages in English. Solution: If you're facing similar issues, we recommend the following steps: 1. Navigate to Pages → All Pages in your WordPress dashboard. 2. Switch the language to Estonian. 3. Translate the 'POOD' page into English. Here's what we did to resolve the issue: - Removed the existing Estonian translation of the Shop page. - Edited the 'POOD' page in English and changed its language setting to Estonian. - This setup now allows the page to be translated back into English.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Thank you! Your solution fixed the problem, and now the Cart and Checkout pages are showing in String Translations.
However, I am now facing a new problem with my WooCommerce Shop page. The Estonian Shop page is missing, and there are two Shop pages in English. Also, when I try to access my Shop page, it shows a 500 Internal Server Error.
Here's what I did:
I removed the Shop page translation in English.
Switched back to Estonian, edited the page, changed the default language to English, and saved the page.
Translated the page to Estonian.
Could you please let me know how I can fix this problem?
Please update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.7.2, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we need to work on the newest code available to troubleshoot the issue best.
You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
If you do not see the updates, you might need to click the Check for updates button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.
Please remember to backup your database before you proceed.
Let me know if the issue persists after an update has been done.
Hi,
I just checked the installed version of WPML Multilingual CMS, and it doesn't need an update as it is already on version 4.7.2.
Just in case, I’ve attached images of the Estonian and English language pages. The Shop page is missing in Estonian, and in English, there are two Shop pages.
Thank you!
1. Navigate to WPML → Translation Management, and go to the Translation Jobs tab to cancel the translation of the Shop page.
2. Edit the POOD page and change its language to Estonian.
3. You can either:
- Translate the POOD page to English and delete the existing English Shop page, or
- If you prefer not to translate and delete the English Shop page, you can connect the English and Estonian shop page. For more information, refer to this article: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/.
Thank you for the info. On the "Translation Jobs page" appears a notification, that the "Jobs could not be loaded".
I deleted the "Shop" page in English language and tried to set the "POOD" language from English to Estonian, but the box is gray and cannot be modified.
You can try clicking on the gear icon and completing the translation. Then, go to Pages → All Pages, switch to Estonian, and delete this translation (also clear the trash). After that, try to edit the POOD page, change its language to Estonian, and translate it to English.
On the English pages, I clicked on the "POOD" gear icon, completed the translation, and then switched to the Estonian language. Unfortunately, the "POOD" page is still missing in Estonian.
I'm not sure if this information is important, but after completing the translation, the gear icon is still visible next to the "POOD" page in the English language.
Could these issues be related to the problem I’m experiencing?
Yes, it could be related. If you filled out all the fields in the translation editor, clicked "Complete", and still see the gear icon, this indicates that the translation cannot be downloaded to your site for some reason. I noticed an SSL certificate error on your site, but the REST API seems to be functioning.
Have you tried temporarily disabling all plugins except for WPML and then attempting to complete the translation?
Under the English language pages, the POOD page is set to English. However, when I click on the gear icon to translate it into Estonian, the English content appears in Estonian (please see the attached image).
Could there be an issue with my permalink settings? I went to Permalinks (screenshot attached), clicked Save Changes without making any modifications, and then navigated to Translation Management → Translation Jobs.
After doing this, the "Jobs could not be loaded" message did not appear, and I can now see the pages (screenshot attached), including the "POOD" page.
I do not think so, but doing this refreshes the permalinks. Since the Translation Jobs are visible now, you can follow the steps I mentioned earlier by canceling the POOD translation and changing its language to Estonian.
I just refreshed the Translation Management page, and the status of POOD changed back to "In progress - Needs update". It is now possible to cancel the job again.
