  1. Does WooCommerce Multilingual 4.1 work with the Dynamic Pricing plugin in WooCommerce? (i.e. set different dynamic pricing tables for different currencies). This is crucial for my client as they need to maintain different products in different currencies with dynamic pricing and they need to set prices manually. Thank you.

    • Version 4.1 doesn’t include specific changes related to Dynamic Pricing but in the past we found this extension to be compatible (with some fixes added on our end). Are you seeing any specific issues? If so, can you report them to our support?

      • Hi Mihai,

They’re not using any part of WPML yet. They’re considering making a purchase if the plugin above can enable them to do what I described (set different dynamic pricing tables for different currencies). As an implementer, I want to make the best choice for my client and I can’t recommend WooCommerce Multilingual until I know for sure. Thank you.

  2. WPML looks like what we need – but I would like to ask this question, before we decide to purchase:

Some of our pages only exist in some of the languages.
    Does WPML support this?

    Example:

The page: “European regulations” should only exist in european languages. Not in Japanese, f.i.

    So:
Some languages might only have a few available pages in the menu, other more, and english will have all pages.
(Japanese should not just show english if page is not translated. It should not exist at all)

    Would this be possible?

  3. Hi there, I’m doing some investigating for a multilingual forum, and would like to know if WPML is completely compatible with BBPress ?

    thanks

      • That’s great to hear Agnes – when is it likely to be published please, and how can we get hold of a copy?
        thanks
        Tracey

          • Thanks Agnes, that would be much appreciated!

In addition, can you let me know if it is possible to “apply” WPML to an existing site and forum that is already in place, or does the forum and WPML need to be co-installed/co-created at the same time?

            thanks
            Tracey

  4. I have a website with the free WPML plugin. I want to update the plugin because of various issues. Will I be able to automatically update right away after purchasing or will I need to reinstall?

    • Hello, it does seem odd. Where exactly are you getting this question? Could you please describe this screen. We don’t ask for a password on checkout.

  5. Hi, I am trying to buy your product to translate our real homes real estate website but it wont let me purchase it. I’ve tried with 5 different debit & credit cards and it always turns up with “error – service is unavailable at this time”. This has been happening to me since friday! please help!

    • Thanks,
      if it’s of any use,
we tried 5 bank cards, from different banks and different staff members accounts, we tried from 3 computers on different days at different times. We are based in Spain and normally have access to internet banking & online purchases no problem. I hope this helps.
Whilst I have you here could please confirm that WPML will work with a real homes theme website and is indeed compatible with Yoast SEO? Thank you

      • That’s odd. Our sales today are looking normal, so I don’t think that there’s a general problem. We don’t process credit cards directly. We use PayPal and 2checkout for that. In the purchase page, you can choose if you prefer to buy with PayPal or 2checkout. The price is the same. If you accidentally triggered some random check in one payment processor, you should still be fine with the other.

WPML works fine with Yoast SEO. We also use it on all our sites.

We recently tested WPML with Real Homes theme and it appears to be working fine. The compatibility report is here:
        https://wpml.org/theme/real-homes/

There’s a link to a how-to page on the theme site:
        http://realhomes.inspirythemes.biz/doc/#wpml-basic-setup

        Does this help?

  6. I purchased the Multi-site plug in and I never received log-in information. I can’t finish my website without the plug in and no one has responded to my emails Pease help, I’m getting desperate

    • Hello,
did you check your spam folder? You can also use this link to reset your password. It that doesn’t help it means that you made a typo in your email. If that’s the case, please use this form and send us your oder number and we will update your record with the correct email address.

  7. I want to give me an explanation about buying the plugin ,,
If I buy it for a year or two and then I wanted to buy it for a lifetime, I will pay the full money which will be costing me $ 195 or the amount I paid will be discounted ?

    • Hello Renia, you will pay the difference, $116 instead $195 ($195 – $79). But please note that if you use the CMS subscription for two years, before you decide to upgrade to the Lifetime version, you will pay $116 as well (the years don’t add up)

    • Hello, in terms of plugins you are purchasing there is no difference. Both types of subscriptions include the same set of WPML plugins. WPML CMS $79 expires after the first year which means that you would need to renew it if you would like to have access to future releases and our support help (renewing is optional) and for the Multilingual CMS Lifetime subscription no renewal is needed and you have lifetime access to all future releases and our support help.

Please note that you can upgrade from WPML CMS $79 to Multilingual CMS Lifetime $195 subscription for the difference in purchase price, which is $116.

  8. Hi there.
Does the nonprofit subscription come with the CMS plan or just the blog plan? Or is it Lifetime?
Also, if the theme I have (Coraline) is not listed on your site, does that mean I should not be using WPML?
    Thanks so much,
    Danielle

    • Hello Danielle,
It’s lifetime. You can use a theme that wasn’t tested by our Compatibility Team, no problem. Most of the basic stuff will work fine, you will be able to create pages and posts in diffrent languages, translate categories, tags, menus. But you might have issues with theme options and everything that is unique for that theme (I would say non-standard elements).

  9. Hello,

I want to add Bengali, Hindi, Tamil and other Indian languages to my website (soon to be launched). I have a few pre -sales questions-

    1. I want to use translated content on separate sub-domains for each language. But I shall only translate the posts and pages and CPTs. The Woocommerce Products,Basket,Checkout etc. pages will be in English only. Is is possible?

    2. I am using the following theme and plugins-

Theme – Genesis + Centric Pro (Customized).

    Plugins – Woocommerce.
    – Thrive Landing Pages and Content Builder.
    – ConvertPlug by BrainStormForce.(CodeCanyon)
    – ARMember membership plugin by Repute Infosystems.(CodeCanyon)

Can you confirm if WPML is compatible with these?

    Thanks in advance.

  10. Hi ther,
can you let me know if it is possible to “apply” WPML to an existing site and forum that is already in place, or does the forum and WPML need to be co-installed/co-created at the same time?

    thanks
    Tracey

      • Thanks Agnes, it was more about installing with existing FORUMS already in place – e.g. BBPress – I’ve had some technical “challenges” with WP forums in the past so just want to check adding WPML to an existing WP forum will work ok …
        thanks, Tracey

    kind regards,

  15. Hello People @ WPML,

    Can you help?

I been using this plug in for almost 2 years now and I think is awesome, so awesome that I recomended it to my friend (Aure E. Martinez) she went ahead and purchase it but never receive it.

    What can she do?

  16. Good Morning.
I renewed the subscription on Feb 20th, but it is still pending the transaction on my orders. Can you please verify and give me instructions on what to do?
    Order #1213056.

    Thank you

  17. Hello,

WPML seems to be a very powerful tool and I am considering buying a licence after having testing some other plugins. With most of my projects it should work no prob, but I’d like to ask if you have any information about WPML and the Jobroller theme by Appthemes? They couldn’t tell me anything there, but accordibg to their experiences WPML works fine with their classified ads theme. Do you happen to know about this particular job board theme?

    Bye,
    George

      • Thanks for the quick reply. Actually, they didn’t say it’s compatible. They only said, just like you, that it works with their Classipress theme. I guess, I’ll give it a try, anyway.

  18. Hello,

Before proceeding to purchase this plugin, please tell if this is 100% SEO friendly, and if so I have an example of what I exactly want:

I need to translate my website in Russian and to promote it to Yandex. So, will my website appear like http://www.example.com/ru?, so the clients will instantly see the site in Russian without needing to select the language?

    • > What languages does WPML support?
      > What about Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian?

WPML comes with a predefined set of languages, but you can add as many as you need:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/

      > Does it support Styled Store Theme?

We havent tested that theme but that doesn’t mean its not supported. You can always try it and report any problems you find in our support forum. Remember that you have 30 days to ask for a refund if things dont work out.

    • I’m not sure what you mean by translation mode. But with String Translation you can import po files (not mo) and use them in your site.

    • I’m not sure I understand the question. Themes and plugins load their own .mo files. If you want, WPML can scan for strings in themes/plugins and you can translate them using WPML too. In that case, WPML will allow you to load existing translations from the .mo files, so you can start from that point. Is this what you intended to ask?

      • Sorry for confusing. I think, I understand. Just simply saying, I can do it this way: English (en) site is using en_En.po file, Russian site ru_RU.po file. Is it right? (Translations are already done.) Because my experience with free charge modules is, that they couldn ´t make it out.

        Thanks for answers!

        Petr
