  1. Hi There,

I would like to get WPML All Import add-on to import multilingual posts.
I can’t figure out how to download it for free as described in your website or buy it with a package?
Please let know asap how can I downlod it.

    Thakns in advance

    • Hello,
the WPML All Import plugin requires both the WP All Import plugin and the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin to work. So you need to have a WPML subscription (any WPML package) in order to use it and download. Once you have your WPML subscription, you will find both plugins in your account, in the Downloads section.

  2. hi i was bought this plugin like 2012 and i am not use much but now i need to use it for my new project and trying to renewal my account for $39 but cant find any options for it?

    • Hello, you can still use the same WPML account but renewing for $39 is possible only before your current subscription expires. Please use one of the options you see in your WPML account. Since your WPML is old these guidelines can help you when upgrading.

  3. Hi, two questions please. If a client chooses 30 languages (just to make my point) is there something like a drop down that will/can display in the menu, since 30 or more will just display awkwardly if all the icons display.

Second question: Does your product work with a builder i.e. like DIVI from elegant themes? Apologies if I have missed this in the comments.

    • Hello Andre,
Yes, the language switcher is created automatically based on the languages of your site but please note that WPML doesn’t translate automatically. Usually websites created with WPML have 3 languages. Yes, WPML works with Divi. This user manual explains the details.

And here’s a list of all themes by Elegantthemes compatible with WPML.

  4. Hello,

I am interested to buy the Lifetime unlimited version.
    Here I have questions:

    1. Does your plugin have the function of duplicating automatically the post and translate to any other different language from the default language?

    2. I have few websites, so I can use this plugin freely in all my websites without limitation?

    Looking forward to your reply.
    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Chen.

    • Hello,

Thank you for your interest in WPML. To answer your questions:
      1. It has an option duplicate a post but it doesn’t have an option to translate automatically.
      2. Yes, you can.

      • Hello,

        for the question 1:

I need a function to automatically duplicate the post to other languages (no need automatic translation). which means : if user post something on English site, it needs to be automatically duplicated and show in other languages sites too (even the content is still in english).

        Can you do that?

        Best regards,
        Chen.

        • No, it won’t happen automatically, your editor needs to duplicate a post manually. It’s done with just two clicks (per language) but still.

          • oh… too bad.
My site is a platform for people to post information.
I can’t “hire” an editor just to make “two clicks” for each post since there will be many posts all day long, and people need to see it immediately (not matter on which language site they are)…
Will you to have this function sometime soon?

            Best regards,
            Chen

    • Hello,

Can your plugin automatically duplicate the post (from users and admin) into other languages (no need to translate automatically, just duplicate automatically )?

I have asked this question before but I’d like to know if there is any update now. I’d like to buy the unlimited package, and this is the problem holding me back now.

Please let me know if you have a solution, or would you consider to add this function.

      Best regards,
      Chen.

  5. Hi, I have paid for upgrade to multilanguage CMS last month but as I see in admin panel I cant download this plugin anymore, why that happened ? It says I have no valid subscription, but I have made an upgrade last month. Why that happened ?

  6. So, I shout have an access to download all components of WPML but I see only 2 of them. Please fix it cos I have a project I must use String Translations and others components but currently I am not able to download them despite I paid for it last month.

    • Hi Tomasz, yes, our records show that your order completed successfully and you purchased the “Multilingual CMS upgrade from Blog”. So you should see all WPML plugins in your downloads section. Please check again if you don’t have any filters set. Maybe there is something wrong on our site. I’m contacting our admins now. I will send you the String translation via email so you can continue working on your project by the time the issue is resolved.

    • Good you created a ticket. I cannot send the plugin via email, maybe our supporters will find a way to share it with you by the time the issue with your account is sorted out.

  7. Hello there
My account is expired in 2016 (i bought a 96$ licence) and now i’d like to upgrade to a lifetime one. I see that there’s a special offer that cost 116$: how does it works? Could i pay the difference between 96$ and 116$ (20$ more) to upgrade my account?

Pls let me know i’m really interested.
    take care.
    Ivano

    • Hello,
$116 has been calculated as the difference in purchase price:

Multilingual CMS Lifetime regular price: $195
      Multilingual CMS regular price: $79

      $195 – $79 = $116

      I hope it helps.

  8. Hi there,

I have been recommended this product by the Cornerstone WordPress theme. Can you please contact me on my email address to give me a call?

I have a couple of pre-sales questions, having recently tried out a couple of other similar products I want to clarify some technical things before I purchase.

    Thanks

    Jack

    • Hi Jack,
I’m sorry but we don’t provide on-call support. Please post your questions here or you can buy WPML and ask your questions on our technical forum in your individual threads. Our refund policy allows you to use WPML for 30 days without any risk.

  9. Hi Support,

While I was doing the checkout form to buy the CMS Multilanguage 1yr package I have mistypen my email address, and once finalized the payment I couldn’t get the email containing my USER and PWD.

    Can you please fix this?
The correct email address is [edited]

    Thanks
    Andrea.

  10. Hi guys,

I’going to purchase your product for business purpose and I would like to receive a specific invoice to pay your product.

    Thanks!

    • Hello,
this plugin wasn’t tested by our Compatibility Team so we don’t know how it works with WPML. According to the description you shared with me, it is WPML ready. You can give it a try – our refund policy allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk.

  11. hello. I’m running a webcomic-like site, so images is everything. I use Theme X+ The Grid plugin (goes with theme x). So I wonder if it will work fine with WPML and how do I test it all before buying.
There’s issues with current theme x + the grid + wpml users in the theme x group on the facebook, so I’m in doubt

    thank you

  12. Hi, in the Multilingual CMS version the yearly account renewal is mandatory? What does that means? Is it just the support and updates of the plugin?

    Thanks

    • You need to have a valid account in order to receive updates and support. If you buy a yearly account and don’t renew, your sites will continue working normally. WPML doesn’t just “stop working” if your account expires.

Please remember that many of our updates are intended for compatibility with new WordPress versions. If you don’t renew for a long time, you will be running very old versions of WPML that may not be compatible with newer versions of WordPress.

  13. Hello,
I am interested in subscribing to WPML. I think the blog version offers enough of what I need right now, but I am unsure. Accoriding to your site, I can pay for the blog version and then seamlessly at any time upgrade to the multilingual CMS by just paying the difference in price. Is this correct? Will I lose any translations in the process? Your site also mentioned something about not being able to renew when you upgrade. Could you clarify this?
    Thank you

    • Yes. The blog version costs $29 and the full CMS version costs $79. So if you buy the Blog account now and want to upgrade later, you will need to pay $50. You can do that from within your WPML account.

You will not lose any translations in the process. The CMS version gives you access to more WPML components (plugins). You will need to install them in your site to get the additional functionality.

Account renewals cost 50% of the original account price. If you buy a Blog account, you can renew (for additional years) for $15/per. If you buy a CMS account, you can renew for $39/year. If you upgrade from Blog to CMS and want to renew next year, it will also cost $39.

      Does this help?

  14. Hello,

Is there any feature in WPML plugin that allows me to edit the translations in strings? My website is in 4 languages and it is really difficult to make the changes from page to page.
I just need a way to display all four languages in the same page so I can easily translate the text simultaneously in all languages.

I am currently using the free version of the plugin.
Is there any feature that allows me to do that?

    Thanks

  15. Hi,

I am interested in the woocommerce currency converter, and was just wondering if you could clarify a few things.

    Our clients requirement is

‘I also want to add multi currency by IP. So USD is displayed for US users but also processed in USD, not just an estimated conversion. Gateway is Stripe and PayPal.’

    So the questions are

    1. Is the currency processed in the currency displayed or is this just an estimated conversion tool and the payment is still made in the shops base currency.

    2. What payment processors does this support is there any restrictions, does it work for Stripe and paypal?

    3. They also want to use the dynamic pricing plugin, your supported section says tested is this compatible?
    https://woocommerce.com/products/dynamic-pricing/

    • Sorry for the slow response. I had to check with the right developer before answering.

      > 1. Is the currency processed in the currency displayed or is this just an estimated conversion tool and the payment is still made in the shops base currency.

      Yes.

      > 2. What payment processors does this support is there any restrictions, does it work for Stripe and paypal?

Paypal works as longs as the currency is supported by Paypal. Strip works too. In theory, all payment processors who support a given currency should work.

      > 3. They also want to use the dynamic pricing plugin, your supported section says tested is this compatible?

Yes – that should work. Might depend, however, if it’s combined with other extensions… In combinations that we haven’t tested.

  16. Hello there, hope you are doing well.
I am working on a site that is using Visual Composer (Js Composer). My client has decided to install the WPML plugin, which is fine.
I noticed on some of your notes about using the two together you mention

    WPML Translation Management add-on plugin
    WPML String Translation add-on plugin

do these two plugins come with the original plugin when purchased? or do they need to be purchased separately?

    Thank you
    Tanya

    • If you bought the complete package (Multilingual CMS), then String Translation and Translation Management are included. All you need to do is login to wpml.org and download them.

If you bought the Multilingual Blog package, these plugins are not included. To get them, you will need to upgrade your account. When upgrading, you only need to pay the difference ($50). You can upgrade from without your wpml.org account.

      Does this help?

  17. Hi, we are building our website in WordPress and need a language translator for spanish and english.
I would like to know how these licenses WPML work? Are they one-shot price for life or paid yearly? In any case, do we, the customer have access and permissions to edit this plug-in once it is installed?

Is there an extra fee for installing the WPML plug in or can my web builder do it?

    • You can buy WPML either as a Lifetime account ($195) or as a Yearly account ($79) and then renew for $39 per year. A valid account is needed to get updates and support. If your account expires, WPML plugin installed in your site will continue working without interruptions.

You can use WPML plugin for all the sites that you build for yourself and for your clients.

  18. Hi,

Your comparison table (https://wpml.org/purchase/) does not have a check next to the “Translate custom fields” option for the Multilingual Blog license. However there is a check for the Multilingual CMS license for the “Translate custom fields” option

Is this referring to the ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) plugin?

While looking at the ACF plugin page, it makes no mention of license restrictions.

Please can you clarify if buying the cheaper “Multilingual Blog” license will enable WPML to work with the ACF plugin.

    Many thanks,
    Lee

    • The full account for WPML includes our Translation Management plugin. This helps a lot in translation for rich content with custom fields. You can translate without this module too, it’s just some more work.

WPML works fine with ACF. We added some code in order to synchronize repeating custom fields between languages.

If you buy the Multilingual Blog account, you will be able to translate “manually”, without WPML’s Translation Editor. This means using the native WordPress post editor and creating translations the same way you create the original content. If you don’t have a lot of content and you’re happy to translate this way, it’s fine.

Anyway, you can always upgrade from the Blog to the CMS account and pay only the difference. If you decide later that you need the full package, you’ll be able to upgrade to it without wasting money.

      Does this help?

  19. Hello I have wpml multilingual blog installed in my blog. Seen that I need to create another website with e-commerce, if I buy license multilingual CMS, can I use it also for my old blog?

    Thanks
    Marco

    • Yes, but if you already have a valid (not expired) account for WPML, you don’t need to buy a separate Multilingual CMS account. You can upgrade to the larger account and pay only the difference. To do this, log in to your account and you’ll see the upgrade offer on the top-right of the account page.

You can use WPML on all your sites and sites that you build for your clients. So, yes, you will be able to install all of WPML’s components also on your blog.

  20. Hi, I’d like to use WPML on my new website, I use a new theme from Flo Themes, Osaka, that is not in your compatibility list, may I use WPML too?

    Thanks

    • Hi Giorgio, yes you can but you might have issues with translating theme custom options and non-standard elements provided by this them. You should be able to translate posts, pages, categories, navigation items without problems.

      • well… I don’t need to translate the backend, only the frontend so posts, pages, menues etc…

but I have some problems, I have to see how to correct configure it, now when I activate the main plugin my website respond with an internal server error! 😉

        Thanks

        Giorgio

  21. Hi,

I am planning to buy the lifetime plan … but I would like to know if I can run woocommerce on .. or do I need any extra plugins or having to pay extra money for that?

    Thanks

  22. I’m building a site on Pantheon. I understand that WPML invalidates Varnish caching which, in turn, slows sites that use WPML. There is discussion on this site of a fix in the works.

When will WPML be made compatible with Pantheon? If WPML is not compatible, we’ll have to look for a different solution.

    • A few months ago, we changed the way WPML stores cookies. Before, we used to automatically create a cookie for the visitor’s language. We used that for themes that access admin-ajax from the front-end. This is now optional in WPML (defaults to not set that cookie). So now, WPML doesn’t set any cookies for visitors and therefor doesn’t have any issues with the Varnish cache.

We didn’t specifically test with Pantheon, but I think that this is the issue that you’re reporting and it’s resolved already. We worked on this with folks who are using Pagely and reported the exact same thing.
