Hi there,
I need multi currency plugin for my site & i don’t need multi language, how can i get this?
if i purchase “Multilingual Blog for $29” will it work fine on my website for multi currency?
I installed “WooCommerce Multilingual – run WooCommerce with WPML” plugin through wordpress dashboard, but afterthe installation this error appears:
“WooCommerce Multilingual is enabled but not effective. It requires WPML, WPML Translation Management, WPML String Translation and WPML Media in order to work.”
WooCommerce Multilingual is intended to run with WPML plugin on multilingual sites. It will not work properly on single-language sites for the purpose of multi-currency only.
I need a website translated in the 11 official languages of South Africa. Your languages cater for Zulu, but not all the official languages. Does that mean your plugin does not support the other languages and I cannot use your plugin? Is there a way around that or does the language need to be one of your pre-selected languages.
WPML comes pre-configured with Zulu, but it’s not a problem for you. You can add custom languages to WPML yourself. To do this, go to WPML->Languages and click on Edit Languages. For each language, you’ll enter the code to use (like en for English), set a flag (if you need different flags) and the locale if you have it.
Dear sirs,
I just followed the purchasing process in your web site , and ordered “Multilingual Blog” at USD 29 via “2checkout” using my credit card.
So, I already sent you USD 29 a few minutes ago.
But , the next page appeared as “Error Code : PE101” , and I do not have any password to download the programme anymore.
Your urgent help is appreciated.
Br, Muharrem
I can’t find your email in our sales history or in 2checkout. Can you contact us privately through our contact form and pass whatever confirmation you received from 2checkout? If you haven’t seen a confirmation page and haven’t received a confirmation email, it means that your order wasn’t processed. Even if you entered your credit card number, but haven’t received any confirmation from 2checkout, they failed to charge you.
Hi Amir,
Thanks for your reply.
I did not receive any confirmation e-mail from your side although I tried it twice and received the same error code.
I bought the product in your web and went through the steps > Review Cart > Billing Information > Payment Method without any problem.
After I entered Credit Card info , I get this message :
AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED DURING CHECKOUT
PLEASE CONTACT THE SELLER AND REFERENCE THE ERROR CODE BELOW
ERROR CODE : PE101
So, is there a problem in your web site ? What does PE101 mean ? How should I try it and get the confirmation ?
Look forward to hearing from you urgently.
Best regards,
Muharrem
Hello
our admins have checked it and it looks like an issue on the payment gateway and not on our side. We’ve already tested in wpml.org and the purchase is going trough. Please try with a different credit card or using the other payment gateway that we have available.
The payment problem is over now.
But , I cannot login using my username and password.
A message appears as : ERROR: Incorrect username or password
Your help is appreciated.
My question is about the sizes of the language flag icons.
Is it possible for me to enlarge the sizes of the language flags ?
If yes , how can I do it ?
Thanks and regards,
I can see your account and it indeed has your correct email (the one you used in this comment). The password reset page is here: https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/
If you’re still not seeing your ‘new account’ email and you’re using Gmail, please check under ‘All email’. It may be hiding under SPAM or Promotions.
Quick question about translation: I am familiar with strings translation. But what if I had text on an element inside of Visual Composer. If you go to my website, you’ll see under the map some categories of space people could share. When you hover on them, a description appears.
Will it be possible to tat skat that with WPML?
Thanks.
WPML works well with Visual Composer and extracts texts from it. When you build pages with VC, you can translate them conveniently with WPML. You will see just the texts for translation, without needing to recreate the entire design in each language. You can see how it works here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/page-builders/
Hello Patrice,
a language switcher is part of the WPML plugin. When you will be setting up your WPML, in one the steps you will be asked where you want to add this language switcher. Yes, adding it to the menu is one of the options.
I want to create multi language versions of my site BUT host them on different country specific domains (e.g. fr for French)
2 questions:
1. Do I need to buy a licence per country domain (as I don’t want my .co.uk site to host French version for example)
2. Does the translation happen dynamically by calling your server each time a page is requested (therefore potentially slowing my site down) or does it translate the pages and store them in the WP database?
Hello Dan,
1. No need. You can buy only one WPML subscription and you can use WPML on many sites.
2. I’m not sure if I understand you question but WPML doesn’t translate your contact automatically.
I’m using Polylang the free edition plugin and i have nearly all my website traslated with this plugin in terms of pages, product attributes, product terms…etc
But i faced a problem when using the woocommerce import i dont have the option to import language field to make the same product have the same sku but in different languages. So if i buy this plugin the one thats 79$ and use it in my website, will this generate an issue with the polylang plugin, or do i have to remove the plugin and just use WPML??
Hi, I can’t figure out whether I need the “blog” or the full “CMS” version if I just need a two-language solution for a simple website (http://x1.gomde-hoejskole.dk/) that happens to be made in the X theme. I don’t need anything fancy like e-commerce, sending text bits to external translators, I just want to duplicate, rename and edit pages, and then have them connected through a language swithcher in the main menu…
Hello, I was wondering how many languages does the WPML Multilingual CMS subscription supports? Or is there no limit to the amount of languages I can translate my website to?
Are all of these included in WPML?
WPML Multilingual CMS 3.4 or later
WPML String Translation 2.0 or later
WPML Translation Management 2.2 or later
WPML Media 2.1 or later
You need to prepare the versions in the other languages and then – depending on how you store/link to these files you should be able to point the user to the version in his/her language.
hi, if I purchase the $79 dollar plan and am very satisfied with it, when my one year is up, instead of renewing at $39 for another year, can I top up $116 and upgrade to the lifetime plan?
I have to do a website with European languages… Does the system allow for the language for the site to be automatically be selected depending on either the Computer language or IP address?
eg If viewing website in France can the site show by default the French version?
I’m helping a nonprofit localize their website, and I was wondering if you still offer nonprofit pricing. I was referred to this link https://wpml.org/purchase/non-profits/, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Hello Seongji,
Thanks for your interest. I am afraid we have stopped supporting new non-profits. We continue to support the existing ones in our system but we cannot take on new ones.
You are welcome to try WPML for 30 days and see how it works. If it does not suit your needs we will refund you https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/.
I do not receive your email after the purchase of Multilingual CMS for life. Which email address are you sending from so I can whitelist that address on our server?
Hi,
I work for a translation agency. One of our customers has a website in WordPress and now wants us to translate it. We wanted to use our TMs and more importantly make a word count in order to establish a price.
My question: who needs to have the WPML plug-in? Us or the site developper? Or both?
Thanks
Debora
Hello Scott,
WPML doesn’t translate automatically. You can check some of the translation services that are integrated with WPML to find out if they have any translators for these languages. You will find the list of the translation services here: https://wpml.org/documentation/content-translation/
we have WPML CSM 3.1.8.3 installed. The registration is expired. In the Registration Area I found the offer 116$ for upgrade to lifetime. But I could not find this on your page.
Hello. That’s correct. This is a special offer we have for our former customers. If you would like to buy the WPML Lifetime as a new user, you will pay $195.
unfortunately our web support has changed and we do not have the account data any more. When I try via the WP Plug-in I do find the regular purchase options only. Not the upgrade plan.
Hello Marcel,
You will need to log in to the existing account to make use of the renewal price. Do you know the name or mail of the person who rgistered the account? If not, you will need to buy a new subscription, I am afraid.
I’m planning to use WPML for a client of mine and need to know the following things;
1. Can it be used for Chinese translation?
2. How does it work? I mean once the plugin is installed, does it automatically translate the given content (is the translation full proof?) or do I still need to put in the translated content manually?
3. Is there a multisite license available? Or is it charged on a per site installation?
Hello,
1. Yes, you can.
2. No, WPML doesn’t translate automatically. You need to put in the translated content manually. You can also send your content to professional translation services that are integrated with WPML (for this you pay extra, depending on the number of words to translate)
3. You need to pay once and you can use WPML for many site, including the site you build for your customers.
Hello,
I want to get WPML for my WordPress website, I currently use polylang but since I will have an ecommerce on the page soon I want to move to WPML, I have a couple questions before purchasing:
1) I have my websites on bluehost, can I use WPML in more than one website? How does it work? I get the plugin from the WordPress control panel and then…?
2) How do I go about changing from polylang to WPML?
Hello Marie,
1. You install WPML plugin in the same way as you would install any other WordPress plugin. Once you get access to your WPML account, you can download the plugin to your drive and then upload it to your WP site via the plugins section.
2. You can use our migration plugin: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/migrate-polylang-wpml/
Yes, you can use WPML in more than one website. You just need to buy once.
What if I bought the $29 plan, then I am interested to get the $79 plan, can I upgrade the plan? Or do I need to buy a new on with a full price of $79 ?

Hello,
if you have some development skills you can customize the language switcher: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/designing-custom-language-switchers-using-template-files/
Hello,
We bought a subscription, but we don’t have the username and password. We wish to update our plugin.

Hello Patrice,
a language switcher is part of the WPML plugin. When you will be setting up your WPML, in one the steps you will be asked where you want to add this language switcher. Yes, adding it to the menu is one of the options.

Hello samaa,
Thanks for your interest. The 2 plugins cannot co-exist. You can import all the content from Polylang with our importer https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/migrate-polylang-wpml/ and then use WPML only 🙂
Hope this helps!

Hello Niels,
You will need the CMS version as it includes all the modules you need to translate the X theme. You can see a details article and tutorial here https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/xtheme/

Hello, I was wondering how many languages does the WPML Multilingual CMS subscription supports? Or is there no limit to the amount of languages I can translate my website to?
Hello Lea,
There is no limit in the number of languages or websites you can use WPML on.

Does this plugin work well with the Divi theme? I found polylang having some issues.

hi, if I purchase the $79 dollar plan and am very satisfied with it, when my one year is up, instead of renewing at $39 for another year, can I top up $116 and upgrade to the lifetime plan?
Yes, but please note this is how it works now. In the future we may change our pricing model.
also, does this work well with Visual Composer website builder?
Yes, it does.

Hello Tim, WPML has an option to detect the user language she/he has set in her/his browser. Please always include a language switcher as well.

Hello Debora,
It depends whether you want to integrate your agency with WPML so that you can offer the service to all WordPress users https://wpml.org/documentation/content-translation/#partner-translation-services. If you prefer to manage the translation through your client’s WPML account, it is also fine and possible. Your client will need to add you as a private translator. You can see the different options here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/
Let me know if you have any further question.
Kind regards,
Hi There
I am looking for translations services for the following South African languages.

Yes, you can upgrade for the difference in purchase price. To do so, you need to be logged in your WPML account and you will see a link there.
If the current lang of my site now is English (the original lang of theme).
And I want to create another lang, .e.g. Vietnamese.
Can I make Vietnamese to be the main lang?

and domain.com/en -> display English (the original theme lang)
Yes, you can.
