Hello,
I am representing a nonprofit organisation and we would like to get WPML – how can we do it? Unfortunately I haven`t found any information on Your website.
Thanks in advance
Hello,
I am afraid we have stopped supporting non-profits for now. We continue to support the existing ones in our system but we cannot take new ones. You are welcome to buy WPML and try it for 30 days. If it does not suit your needs we will refund you https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
Can i export all my text from a wordpress (WordPress 5.) site (one language) to example a excell or csv file (including all pages, woocommerce products, menus etc) and once this file is translated, import this file and ready is my site i a new second language?
Hello, i have a question about this plugin: I have a wordpress site (the Goodstore theme from envato market/themeforest.net). This site is in one language. I want to make this website in a second language, but … under a complete new domain / URL.
Someone has to translate this site to this second language. This person asked if I can export all text (from all pages, woocommerce products, menus etc) to a Microsoft WORd or Excell (CSV) file.
And when yes, can I easily import this translated file in the copy of the website? So it means: I only need it for one time: export all text from Site A and import the translated file of this into Website B. (So no multilingual website)
Please note that the Goodstore theme hasn’t been checked our Compatibility Team, which means you might have some issues when translating elements. Even if a theme is not fully compatible with WPML you should be able to translate basic stuff such as pages, posts, menus, categories but you might have issues with translating theme options.
Just to confirm, if I buy Multilingual Agency, I only get access to the plugin and automatic updates from WordPress only for 1 year unless the account is renewed?
It used to be possible to order “Multilingual CMS for life upgrade from CMS” without need to renew it every year if you do not need support services. This is not the case anymore?
Hello Phi,
If you do not renew, you can keep using the files you have installed but you lose access to updates and support. I am afraid the lifetime subscription is no longer available for sale.
I have already asked 2 questions here, and got answer, but the vital information it seems not available on internet.
1. Does it support Bengali (BD_bn) language ?
2. If not, is there any way of adding that?
Thank You
Dear sales dept,
Regarding the unlimited wordpress version, what does the yearly renewal means exactly. Is this for the plugin support only or also for plugin updates. In other words, if I go for the unlimited edition and don’t renew yearly, do I still get plugin updates or not. If there are security related issues & updates would I get those without a yearly renewal?
Hello Mirjam,
Thanks for your interest. If you do not renew the subscription you can keep using the files you have installed but you will lose access to updates and support.
Dear, Ijust bought the unlimited version. could you advice me which plugins I need to download from your site, for wordpress with beaver builder?
Kind regards, Mirjam
I am to redesign and rebuild a website – the owner wants multi-language setup included.
I have been looking at WPML. I am not used to working with this tool though, so I want to know if it is possible to e.g. buy a CMS license, install this on one of my online testservers and then, when I am confident i the use, move the license to the site, where it is supposed to be used.
In other words; Can I move the installation to another site, without having to buy another license ?. I will of course only have 1 WPML installation running at a time.
P.S. The site will be build on Divi Theme, I guess this will not be an issue.
Hello Jesper,
Yes, you can “move” the license anytime between your sites, no problem and no need to buy another one. Just keep in mind that with the CMS license you will be able to have three websites registered at a given time.
If you can see the refund button in your WPML account, you can request the refund from there. If not, please use this form to contact us: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/ and we will help you.
Hi!
My site is in Russian language. I want to add English localisation with WPML Plugin but don’t know how to do it correctly to not break SEO optimization. If I add /ru/ subfolder then the main site will be in English but russian content which is already indexed by Google and placed to Organic search results will be changed. If I add /en/ subfolder it will be good, but it will be the sign for users that main language of site is Russian because /en/ is just a subfolder. How to make English version of the site main but not to lose achieved SEO positions of russian content in Organic Search. Thanks.
Dear,
1) if I purchase the Multilingual CMS package, can I translate both the Avada themes write-ups & at the Woocommerce products too?
2) Based on the review, you did mentioned if i did’t renew the subscription yearly, I still can do the translation when I wanted to add new Page or Product, right! but updates & support are no longer available.
Hello Chris,
Thank you for your interest in WPML.
1) yes, you can.
2) that’s correct, you can do the translation but updates & support are no longer available.
Hello Richard,
We are glad you hear you are writing a book that will feature WPML. I’ll put you in touch with our partnership manager and she can help you with that. As far as I know WPML powers 600 000+ sites. Please expect an email from me soon.
I just set-up my new site based on the Traveltour theme.
I want to translate the theme/plugins and so in Dutch en German and the content in Dutch/German and English.
WPML looks like the best solution to do the job so I want to purchase a download.
But
1) Why do I need to pay next year again a € 59,=
2) I do not have a paypal or credit card (it’s not commonly used in the Netherlands where still the standard banktransfer or the online version called iDeal is preferred)
So please sent me an invoice and I’ll transfer you the money
My company name is:
Vons services
Netherlands
VAT number is: NL86141272B02
thank you for your interest in WPML.
1. You can cancel your WPML subscription anytime you want (click a link to do so in your WPML account), if you don’t cancel it, we will charge you automatically $59 next year.
2. I’m sorry but we don’t accept bank transfers.
Hi there,
my license has expired in Decemn.
I’d like to renew it, but I want the Multilingual CMS version and I can only renew to the Multilangual Blog version.
Any chance to change that? Thanks in advance, Tatiana
Hello,
first, you need to renew your Blog subscription and then you will be able to upgrade to the Multilingual CMS version for the difference in purchase price.
I have checked in our system and see your Blog subscription had expired. It’s OK that you bought a CMS subscription at full price since the upgrade for the difference is only available while your subscription is still active.
#1 I have 3 subdomains with different WordPress admin. All sites are almost identical except for specific, do I still need to buy for a MultiSite license?
#2 If the answer to my # 1 is no, I already bought a single site license, can I just upgrade it to the multi-site?
Hello,
#1 If there are three different WordPress installations, yes, you will need the Multilingual CMS version. If this is just one WordPress (WordPress Multisite), you need to register only 1 domain (the main one).
#2 Yes, you can and you will only pay the difference in purchase price.
I admin a site for a non profit exhibition this summer run by a non profit organisation.
I only need to translate parts of the site to multiple languages.
I have a translator for the translation so I’ll need to export the pages.
Is the “blog” alternative going to do the job for us?
Hello Carl,
it depends on how complex your sites is, what theme it uses and which elements you need to have translated. Using the Blog version you should be able to translate all basic elements such as pages, posts, categories, tags. In case it turns out that you need to translate additional elements and an upgrade to the CMS version is needed, you can always do so for the difference in purchase price (simply use a link in your WPML account).
In the meantime, I’ll double check with my team if the Blog version will suffice to use the WPML All Import plugin. Please note that you can buy Blog subscription and upgrade to the CMS version anytime for the difference in purchase price.

hello Arslan,

That sounds fantastic but we already have a partner that does our translations. Can they access the files through this system? Or can I export the pages to Excel?
Dear Agenor,
Thanks for your interest. I am afraid we do not offer free trials of WPML. You are welcome to try our plugin and if it does not suit your needs we will refund you. You have until 30 days to do it https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/.
Hello, it’s in your WPML account under “Sites”. You need to add you site and then you can generate the key for this site and next put it into your WordPress (Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab)

Hello Arie,
Thanks for your interest. With WPML there is no need to do this. You can install it on your existing site and it will take care of creating the translation jobs automatically. You can choose to translate locally, through one of our integrated translation services or via machine translation. More info here

Hello,
if you want to you can use the WPML All Import plugin to import translation from CSV files:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/
you can also consider using the so-called XLIFF files:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-desktop-cat-tools/configuring-xliff-file-options/
Please note that the Goodstore theme hasn’t been checked our Compatibility Team, which means you might have some issues when translating elements. Does the blog version allow me to export to a Excel format for the translator to work with that can be imported back in?
This page explains how you can bulk import posts, pages, WooCommerce products, and other custom post types from CSV or XML files to correctly import this content in language context. Is that what you mean?

I’m not sure what exactly you would like to translate. Maybe you need some other options such as XLIFF Files?
