  1. Hi there,

Our website is using this theme called Neutro, and it’s using Visual Composer. I just want to confirm if WPML will work on this setup.

By the way, will I get an email if you reply?

  2. Dear WPML.

We would like to purchase “Agency” without being charged for VAT. If we provide the VAT under purchase order, are sure that we are not going to be charged VAT/taxes on the purchase? Currently we can see that we are being charged 25% taxes on top of the original order.

    Thanks in advance

  3. Hello,

Is Turkish one of the languages that WPML support? Can I use WPML to make our web site to multilingual. Our target languages are English, Italian and Grek. And is it possible to test the success of WPML translating Turkish to any of these 3 languages?

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

    • Hello,
WPML supports Turkish. Yes, you can use WPML to make your website available in English, Italian and Greek. Please note that WPML doesn’t translate your content automatically. WPML provides machine translations if you use our Advanced Translation Editor but the translations need to be confirmed by you for each post/page. Please check this video to see how it works: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/ You can also insert your own translations or send your content to one of the professional translation services WPML is integrated with.

  4. Our website is a private community for gay guys into shit. We are consenting adults, we have been online since 2002. We are looking at migrating to wordpress. We currently support en, fr, de, es, it.

I don’t see any AUPs on your site
(Acceptable Use Policy –usually where adult sites are disallowed)

What if there was some issue that required your support to look at our live site?
Assuming everything else suggested a site visit, would we then be refused due to content alone?

    Thank you for your time.

    • Hello David,
WPML is a WordPress plugin and supports English, French, Spanish and Italian. Indeed, we don’t have any policy that could cover your (or similar) case so please let me check the details with our support manager. I’ll keep you posted.

    • Hello David,
sorry for my late reply. We won’t refuse to provide support for handling technical issues on your site caused by WPML just because of your site’s content but if a supporter feels not comfortable with supporting your website, you might have issues getting the best fastest support.

  5. I am trying to purchase, but it keeps saying my card is declined. I know this card is valid. I need to purchase TODAY (2/26). Please respond ASAP to resolve this or email me at [email edited}. Thanks!

  6. Hi !

I wrote this question in your forum (Russian language version) but i can’t wait answer any more. I don’t know why you haven’t answered yet. So i repeat here in English. I am creating the website (in localhost now) in ukrainian with “ukrainian” WordPress, using template “Enfold” (maybe i will buy template Betheme in the future). Website looks normal but widgets “Search” , “Contact”… are on English.Especial when i use function “Search” on website, description and result of the searching are on English. And these widgets are NOT
separate plugins (so i can’t translate them by other free plugins). These widgets come into “avia layer Page Builder” togethe with the theme. May WPML plugin help me in that? Thank you !

    • Hello,
could you please share the link to your ticket? I will check with our supporters and ask why it takes it so long to handle it. We provide technical support only via our forum. Thank you.

      • “could you please share the link to your ticket?” I don’t understand what ticket is. I guess it may be the pages of my website? So i send 2 screenshots of these pages. I would like to translate all English words in these pages to Ukrainian.May WPML plugin help me in that? Thank you !

  7. Hello, WPML team,
my back end plug in listings tell me that we are already paid up as Lifetime WPML users.
However, when i go to upgrade to the newer release, I am unable to download it without going to the paid site.
I am not the original purchaser of WPML. That person was 3 or 4 generations ago.
    Any ideas for us?

    thanks, Don;)

    • Hello,
if your site is registered with the Lifetime account, you should be able to update the WPML plugins even if you are not the owner of the subscription. I’ll check with our developers if there are any known issues. Could you please share the link to your site, please? Once we know the site’s URL, we will be able to double check if the site is registered correctly in our system. Thank you.

  8. Sorry, same issue, new information:

“WPML is registered on this site. Your Lifetime account gives you updates for LIFE.”
If possible, can you give me the email and password of the person who worked here who purchased WPML? I may need to open up a ticket because of this error message when I attempt to update from 3.6.3 to 4.2.3: “Downloading is not possible. WordPress cannot create required folders because of the 256 characters limitation of the current Windows environment.”

    thanks, Don;)

  9. Hi There,

A few minutes ago I bought the WPML version USD 79,00. It is for 3 websites.
All the development that we make, is local. After everything is tested, we send to production. But if I activate the plugin on my local machine and later on in the production environment, It will be using 2 activations instead only one (because is the same website). And sometimes we have two local machines developing the same website.

Is there a way to have the plugin for local development and not lose the “activations”?

    Thank you.

    • Hello Neil,
The Multilingual CMS package allows you to register only three websites but please note that registration is required to updates and you can register and unregister your websites as many times as you like. You might do the following: register the site that represents the local development environment, install the required plugins, unregister the site and register your production site in that place. It requires some juggling but that’s a workaround I can advise. You can also upgrade to the “Multilingual Agency” for the purchase for the difference in purchase price and you won’t be limited at all.

      • Hi Agnes,

        Thank you for your advice.

So, I think that for now, I will use the activation code for local environment and after send to production and all running smoothly, I will deactivate the code for the local environment and then we can back to have two activations left.

        Thank you.

  10. Hi. Our company provides services where helping the business owner to build the website for their company & brands. Currently, we are expanding to other country and require for multilingual website translation. We are looking for a lifetime license for unlimited websites for my developers to translate my client website. May I know is it still available for lifetime license for WPML? Thanks.

    • Hello Eric,
we don’t have Lifetime versions. To be able to use WPML for an unlimited number of sites, please consider purchasing the Multilingual Agency package.

  11. Hello there,

On my CMS and the plugins page, for the WPML plugins, I get 3 options/as buttons for available upgrades. There is one “Multilingual CMS for life upgrade from CMS – $116 (USD)”. By selecting it, the link takes me to your page and the 3 available pachages, except the one I mentioned before.

I just purchased the annual, and I was wondering if the for life cover is available to me and if yes how do I replace the annual with the for life one?

    Thank you,
    Thomas

    • Hello Thomas,
looks like you are using an old version of WPML. We used to have the Lifetime option in the past but we no longer have it. Thanks for checking.

  12. Hi, we purchased WPML for our site through our web design firm and I’d like to ask a question directly on the support forum, but do not have a login.

How do I get a login if we purchased through our design firm?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    • Hello Dan,
Your web designer should share the login with you, or they can also set up an end-user account. Note this gives you access to the end-users forum and not the technical one. What would you like to ask?

      Hope this helps!

  16. Hi,

I have a domain name .com and my website is 100% optimized for french language. Now I want to target UAE, so I need english language and new pages to build backlinks.

I had a bad experience with PolyLang. After I properly setup the plugin and created /fr/ and /en/ I noticed google re-indexed a lot of my previous urls from / to /en/ and confused my traffic.

    what about WPML ?

    Thanks

    WPML Update is Incomplete

You are running updated sitepress-multilingual-cms, but the following component is not updated:

    wpml-sticky-links
    wpml-string-translation
    wpml-translation-management

  20. I wonder if this Plugin could help me translate the article I wrote.
I know it can translate the frame part of the website.
But when I updata an article in English, I can’t translate it to other language.
Could this plugin help me do that?

    • Hello Robert,
the purpose of the WPML plugin(s) is to help you make your site multilingual. It’s not about translating some single articles but about making the entire site multilingual. Be default WPML doesn’t translate your content automatically. If you are interested in using machine translations, there is a way WPML can also help you with this. If you use our Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) you can use the machine translation option:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/

  21. Hi

My site is WordPress, Fusion theme. I purchased WPML (2nd product in table) in the spring of 2017. I had to abandon translating. I want to start up again. I’m wondering if the WPML version is still compatible as I can’t see the French flag next to the English flag on my home page. I cannot edit the page I’ve translated. Right now it showing “needs update” in the translation content. Does this mean I need to buy the product once more as I never renewed my subscription for updates? If I renew I’m concerned that I’m going to loose all the translation I have done so far. Can you confirm what I should do please?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Regards.

    Caroline

    • Hello Caroline,
