Hello Bertrand,
We have not tested this theme but it should work well, if it was coded following WordPress standard. Here is a list of the themes we have tested https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/. In any case, you will be able to ask for help at our forum, if needed and we can also contact the author. You are welcome to try WPML and see how it works for you, you have until 30 days to try it and ask for a refund https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/.
Hi, I had a subscribtion with you that expired, but now your system doesnt give me an option for renewal for 59 dollars, its asking me to pay the 79 dollars. can you let me know whats happening? Also are there any deals you could do due to Covid? My business is tourist based and we are still closed, we dont have any income and in order to gain income we have to have the website up and runing. Thank you
Hello Marta,
Your subscription expired in February 2019, which was long ago and that’s why you cannot renew it for $59. I’m sorry but we don’t have any deals due to Covid except that now we offer 10 000 words for free in our ATE editor (in case you want to seep up your translation process). You can learn more about it here: new pricing https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
WPML translates both interface and content, but you need to actually translate it, it’s not automatic. You can send to automatic translation, sure but you have to send it. It’s not fully automatic. In other words, it’s not like google page translation.
i have an woocommerce based website and i insert all products via csv in english
i see that you have automatic translation maschine
1. if i insert all the products via csv in woocommerce and buy a pack words it is possible to translate the products automaticaly without enter in each product via translation editor ?
2. (if your answer will be yes on question 1) It is possible after some time if i found some incorect translation to edit the translation?
3. if i correct one translation of a product the automatic translation machine will detect and use my translation as a dictionary and use it in the future?
Dear, we had WPML and today we got the notification it expired, but we can not open our website, only a blank page is when you type our URL. Is it possible that is because this expired?
And also, we have 2 websites with this and only one work, the other doesn’t can you tell me which plan I need for both?
Hello Edita,
even if your WPML subscription expires, you can still use the WPML plugins so it’s just a coincidence that your site doesn’t work. If you need to use WPML on two sites you need to have the CMS package. Please log into, your WPML account first and then proceed to the checkout if you would like to buy WPML with the same account.
We are using Woocommerce and need to send payment to different Stripe accounts based on currency of the order. Which one of your plug in products allows for this? Thank you
HELLO! I’ve just purchased the Multilingual CMS for $79 but the only downloads that are showing available to me is something called BuddyPress Multilingual. Is this the same thing? In the getting started guide it says I need to download:
WPML Multilingual CMS (which is what I thought I bought)
String Translation
Translation Management
Media Translation
It says they are available on my downloads page but the only available download is the BuddyPress Multilingual plugin. They exist under the “All available downloads” but I can’t click to download them. What am I missing? PLEASE HELP!
Hi, we are looking into switching our multilanguage plugin. Does WPML allow us to manage our woocommerce by different languages? For example, our default language is English. However, some employees uses the Japanese website/cms to add and update products and some uses the English cms. Will the Japanese updates sync to the default language, English?
Yes, you can set up a different backend language for each of your WordPress users if that’s what you are asking about. I’m not sure what you mean by “Will the Japanese updates sync to the default language”. Can you elaborate on it?
Vse razumem tehnično okrog prevoda, da se zgodi enkrat in imam obiskovalce po želji. OK.

When a visitor visits your site, they see translations that already exist in your site and this doesn’t generate any extra cost. It doesn’t matter how many visits you have. The translations are not generated on the fly. They already exist when your visitors visit your site. So nothing will add up because these are always the same translations being displayed.
So once again:
1. You publish your site in your original language.
2. You set it up to use our ATE editor which provide machine translations.
3. You go to ATE settings to claim free translations (10 000) for a month – it doesn’t require any extra subscription and costs.
4. You choose posts, pages etc to send to ATE and to apply machine translations. Once you apply the translations, they will be available forever. Let’s say you used 8000 words.
5. If, later on, you want to update a few sentences in your already translated content, you will need to use only several new words (let’s say 20 words), so you will have 7980 words left.
6. Even if your site is visited 50000 times, you still have 7980 words left to use either for existing or new translations.
8. Next month you will have again 10 000 machine words for translations to use (10 000). Those words have nothing to do with your existing posts that are already translated.
I just purchase Multilangual Blog package in order to be able to upgrade WMPL plugin for my clients wp-site. Now after the purchase and updating I got this error message down below.

For updating your WPML String Translation as well as our core plugin, WPML Multilingual CMS, you need a Multilingual CMS or Agency license. https://wpml.org/purchase/
Hello,
I noticed a withdrawal from my account this evening.
I no longer want to renew the service, I do not use it. Pre-authorized payment is activity without my knowing, I want refund please.
Thank you,
You say that it happening without you knowing about it. Please note that before your WPML subscription gets renewed we send email notifications to let you know in advance that it will happen and you can cancel it.
You don’t need to create a multisite, that URL format also works with single installations. You only need to make the correct setup and be sure that all your domains are hosted in the same server.
I am thinking of buying your WPML plugin to create an English version of my website. My site is build with the WP Bakery Page Builder and has a template called Jupiter.
Which version do you recommend me to buy; The one for blog, CMS or Agencies?
If you are using a page builder as WP Bakery and Jupiter, we recommend you our Multilingual CMS package. Now, for deciding between a CMS or Agency license, it would depend in how many sites you need to translate. If it is only for one site, you can use our CMS package.
Hello,
For a year we have been using the WPML plugin and a few months ago our products have been detached from their language and have generated different IDs of the products in each language, could it be because we were using the trial version and it has expired? It will be solved if we hired one of your plans?
Thank you.
We really can’t tell without investigating your situation. It could be caused because of an old version or WPML or a compatibility issue.
For reaching our support, you will need a Multilingual CMS license, then:
1. Log into your WPML account.
2. Go to this link: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/
3. Type in something in the search.

We would like to automatically translate the website of our company and consider your services, but we have a few questions:
1. Can we connect WPML with DeepL (when we use a paid version of WPML)?
2. The translation memory (data) should be in our own database (of our website on WordPress), is that possible?
3. We would also need this to function as a Machine Translation management tool: (How) can we edit translated text manually? (How) can we set that word X should always be translated as Y, on every webpage?
Our CEO would like to have a short video call/demo with you to discuss if your paid services will match our needs. Is that possible, please?
Hello Danny,
thank you for your interest in WPML.
1. No, you cannot. Our Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) uses Azure’s MT engine.
2. Not sure what exactly you mean by translation memory but generated translations, which are marked as completed are converted into normal WP pages.
3. Yes, you can edit the translated text manually.
Please check this video to check how our ATE editor works: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
We cannot have a demo call but please check this video and it should help you better understand how our ATE editor works.

Hi, does WPML support page synchronization across different sites in a multisite network?
Hi,
Yes, WPML works on a multistite install https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multisite-support/
Hi!
I’m building a multilingual platform with Dokan and Woocommerce and Custom Taxonomies.
What WPML modules I need to purchase (Core, Addons, and etc), what is the final amount?
BR,
Hello Roman,
You will need the CMS version (79$), which includes all modules. Note there were some issues reported with Dokan. Check here
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/
https://wpml.org/plugin/dokan-2/
You can try WPML and see if it works for you. We will refund you if not.
Thanks, Mercedes!
One more question.
Does WPML applicable for dynamic content, something like Google page translation?
As I understand WPML could translate “Interface”, and what about for example Product description.
Dokan its multi-market, many different sellers, and seller place product on the native language.
And buyers (from different countries) should be able to read not only “interface”, but also product information.
br,
WPML translates both interface and content, but you need to actually translate it, it’s not automatic. You can send to automatic translation, sure but you have to send it. It’s not fully automatic. In other words, it’s not like google page translation.

Hello,
1. Our ATE editor allows you to bulk translate your products (in one go) but those products need to be in your WordPress site. So if you have them in a CSV file, first you would need to import them into your WP using some import from CSV plugins.
Here’s how you use the bulk-translate option in our ATE editor:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-use-automatic-translation/#bulk-automatic-translation-for-groups-of-pages
2. Yes, you can edit those translations.
3. Yes, our ATE editor has the translation memory.

Hey 🙂
Ich have two questions.
1. Is it possible to set URLs for the languages? Like: /de & /en
2. Is it possible to have seperated menus? If i dont want to show the same menu points.
Thanks!
Hello Stefan,
1. Yes, it is possible, with WPML you can use Langauges per directory as URL format:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/
2. You can create two different menus manually with WordPress, but then you have to take care of not synchronizing them.

Hello Ali,

Which version do you recommend me to buy; The one for blog, CMS or Agencies?

Hello Annette,
If you are using a page builder as WP Bakery and Jupiter, we recommend you our Multilingual CMS package. Now, for deciding between a CMS or Agency license, it would depend in how many sites you need to translate. If it is only for one site, you can use our CMS package.
You will find more information here:

Thank you very much!

Please check this video to check how our ATE editor works:

We cannot have a demo call but please check this video and it should help you better understand how our ATE editor works.
