Hello,
I’m using GeoDirectory plugin and I want to know which version of WMPL is compatible with it. Dose the blog version working fine with the GeoDirectory listings or need to buy the CMS?
Andrew, when we charge VAT we always assume the client origin country so we charge according to that. Meaning for example if we have a client from Poland would have his country VAT rate applied while a client from Spain would have a different VAT rate. Can you please explain your case? It will help us better understand what we need to provide you.
Sure, I need to know which country you charge from, what is your taxation base? When I receive an invoice with VAT it must be validated from the above url if it is inside EU, if it’s not in EU I cannot receive a VAT invoice.
Hello,
if you don’t want to renew your WPML, you need to cancel your subscription – please log into your WPML account and you will find the option there. To request a refund, please use this link: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/
Hello,
if you are asking about a sort of Lifetime purchase, there is no such option but you can buy WPML and cancel your automatic subscription anytime.
Hi,
I am planning to build about 5 websites for my own personel blog and business company which they will have different domains on same hosting and for example; they two for personel blog and three for business sites… so, sould I purchase Multilingual agency bundle, or let’s say I have three domains with two subdomains and for this, should I purchase CMS bundle?
I’m confused about per domain. (eg. purchasing two license for one account on five sites?)
Hello,
it depends on how many WordPress copies/installs you have.
1 activation key = 1 WordPress install.
You can also buy the Multilingual CMS first and then upgrade to Multilingual Agency – our system will calculate the new price according to what you already have paid for.
I have a few questions before we go for the paid version of your plugin.
You see, we currently use Polylang and we’ve detected a big bug where it generates a canonical link from the NL translated page to the .com page. There is no way for us to adjust that canonical tag and we simply cannot have that so we need to explore alternatives – fast.
So my questions are:
1: Can I migrate the translated data from my websites Polylang plugin to Wpml with one click or does that need to be done manually?
2: Can I generate multiple Sitemaps for every language when using Wpml (We use Rank Math plugin for seo)
3: Does your plugin support Gutenberg editor?
4: Does your plugin generate a HREFlang?
5: Can you confirm that you are not generating an insufficient canonical from the additional languages to the main one?
We have an online store in Canada (English) on woocommerce which is for example http://www.specshub.ca we want to clone our site http://www.specshub.de for Germany and specshub.fr for France..Inventory will be same but with just different titles and urls and we want to core pages to be in de and fr language.. this plugin will be good for us?
Yes, WPML is good but you will I’m not sure what you mean by cloning. If you have any products or other content to be migrated, you will need to handle it yourself.
On January 16, 2021 I ordered WPML Multilingual CMS and paid it by my card using Stripe.
But nothing happened, and my order number 7858247 says at my account that it is pending.
Money has not yet been deducted from my bank account.
Can you help me how to solve this? I do not want to use PayPal account.
Hello Jarka,
I am sorry for this. The invoice is pending payment, which means we have not charged you for it. You need to log in to your account and you will find a button to pay for it. Go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout.
Hi, would like to start a WooCommerce website with the Theme “Divi” and i`m searching a possiblity to translate the site into 3 languages. Using the checkup for the “Multilingual-Themes” on your site i found out the following avout Divi: “Compatible with WPML, Has known issues”. Can you tell me anything about these issues? Is there a possibility to check the plugin in advance?
Hello,
Are you referring to your quota for machine translations? If so, you can cancel your subscription anytime. Have you tried that? Can you let us know what exactly happened and why it was unexpected? Please give us the address of your site and we will be able to find out more.
Hello Nick,
the customer will be able to use the currency you previously set up. Only those chosen/configured by you.
Please note that WPML with currency options makes sense for multilingual sites – if your site is in one language using WPML only for currencies would be overkill.
Not sure what you mean by “Does this work with the REST-API?”. WPML provides an interface to translate pages/pages. I need more details on this part to better understand your goals.
The Multi-currency features are available in the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin which is a part of the CMS package. Yes, you will be able to set up your site as you specify.
A developer purchased a license for us, but we no longer work with him. Can we create a ‘free’ WPML account so he can transfer the licence (and support) to our account.
I see you have a feature to transfer the renewal but we want to manage our license and support on our account, not his.
We are looking for Translate Plugins that can easily switch English to Hebrew. This is the Plugin we are looking for? We will be using Divi for the theme. If, yes please send me articles and tutorial on how to do this. thanks
Hello,
WPML is a plugin that allows you to make your site multilingual. You need to use a separate plugin or a theme dedicated for the membership sites to turn your site into a members portal. Then you would need to make sure this plugin/theme is compatible with WPML.
No, we don’t offer a free trial but our refund policy allows you to buy WPML and use it for 30 days without any risk.
Hello, please try the following:
If your order is still pending it means we have not charged you for it. You need to log in to your WPML account and you will find a button to pay for it. Please go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout. If you need to request a new password you can do it here https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/
Hi there,
I’m constructing a new website and its store. The products will arrive in xml and syncronized 2 or 3 times a day. The informations and descriptions arrive in english and I need to translate them in italian and spanish. My questions are: if there are not any updates to the products have I to translate every time I syncronize them? And for partial update have I to translate the new words? Please clarify me I never used your plugin but I’m very interested to buy it.
Thanks for a reply
Andrea
Hello Andrea
depends on what specifically you are updating. For example, if you are updating the product name and you want this product name to be translated, then yes, best would be to update the translation as well. You will see an icon indicating that the original language has changed and then you can update the translation. But you don’t need to do anything with the fields that haven’t changed or these that don’t need to be translated (for example the product price).
I am not interested in changing the names that will remain in English for everyone but new information will probably arrive, you say that the plugin reports any changes to be translated?
Another question, is there a way to automatically recognize the language of the site based on the origin of the customer’s IP? To understand if I open the site in Spain, can the site already appear in Spanish? Or does the customer have always to use the tab to change language?
By saying that the plugin reports any changes to be translated I mean the following:
1. Suppose you have a product in English (original lang) and it’s translated to Spanish and Italian.
2. Someone updates anything in this product, for example, changes a piece of its description (say, two words). WPML will indicate that your Spanish and Italian versions of this product needs to be updated because the original post/product has changed.
If a new product arrives, the users will also know that they need to translate it becasue they will see + icon in the Italian and Spanish column on the backedn.
Hello, we don’t have the lifetime option but please note that renewals are optional and you can still use our plugins but in this case without updates and access to the support forum.

We understand that 1 activation key = 1 wordpress installation. What does that translate to when deciding between CMS or Agency product? How many license activation keys and how many wordpress installs is the Agency license?

You need the CMS package.
Hello,
regarding the invoice you provide which country you tax from?
Hello Andrew,
here’s our VAT Number: EU196000846
What does EU stand for? This is not a valid EU VIES VAT number: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/
Andrew, when we charge VAT we always assume the client origin country so we charge according to that. Meaning for example if we have a client from Poland would have his country VAT rate applied while a client from Spain would have a different VAT rate. Can you please explain your case? Hello,
if you don’t want to renew your WPML, you need to cancel your subscription – please log into your WPML account and you will find the option there. To request a refund, please use this link: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/
Is there a one-time payment?
Hello,
if you are asking about a sort of Lifetime purchase, there is no such option but you can buy WPML and cancel your automatic subscription anytime.
I forgot to add, that after canceling your subscription you can still use our plugins but you won’t have access to new versions.

Dear WPML-Team,
I am searching for a plugin that can cange the currency of my shop.
I saw that WPML offers this, besides the translation features.
Are these currency conversions only in the front-end, or is the customer able to buy in their selected currency?
Does this work with the REST-API?
So far no plugin could provide that and I am excited to hear more about yours.
Thanks for the help
Nick
Hi Nick,
Yes, WPML can do this 🙂

If i buy your “Multilingual CMS Package, can we use that all specifications?
Or Multi-currency is a different plugin?

The Multi-currency features are available in the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin which is a part of the CMS package. Yes, you will be able to set up your site as you specify.

Hello
Is WPML compatible with the Divi theme & RankMath with all of their features, especially schema for RankMath?
We are compatible with the RankMath plugin: https://wpml.org/plugin/rank-math-seo/ and with Divi: https://wpml.org/theme/divi/ there are two known issues with Divi, which you can see on the page I’m sharing.
I’m not sure what you mean by schema in the multilingual context. Please explain.
May I know if I want to translate feom English to KHMER, how to do it while the languages in your list don’t have?
Hello,
You can add it manually https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/#id1
If you mean automatic translation it’s supported. See here https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs
Hello
I would like to translate the site through WPML, but there is a question about compatibility with the version of WordPress 5.6
I know you have a WordPress 5.6 compatibility bug, please tell me how serious the problem is and how long will it take to solve this problem ?
Hello Aleks,
I am not sure of what bug you mean exactly. Check here https://wpml.org/changelog/2020/12/wpml-4-4-7-compatible-with-wordpress-5-6-and-php-8/ and feel free to leave your comment there so that the tech team can reply. They will be of better help than myself.
Best,
I’m looking for a lifetime wpml plugin if you can help with dis I’ll appreciate it
