  1. Hi,

I need translation widget for our mentioned website, is it Ok as our website isn’t a WordPress ?
Also, what do you mean by saying : ” 2000 credits between any language pair every month ” ?
last question : what will be the price if we get all the advantages of Multilingual CMS package but for only one website ? is it possible ?

    thanks

    • Hello,
I checked at the payment processor and saw your card is returning the code “Do not honour”. This means they are not authorizing the transaction. Can you contact them about this or try with a different card? Remember you can also use PayPal.

      Thanks,

      • Hey I can reach out to our provider but they are just normal Master Cards, I tried our US and Canadian one and neither worked.

        • The error comes from your bank not authorizing the payment. Let me contact you via email about this. It will be easier to follow up.

            • Yes, I can see that your order is still in pending status, which means we have not charged you for it. You need to log in to your account and you will find a button to pay for it. Go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout. If you need to request a new password you can do it here https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/

Please let us know how it goes.

  2. Hi!
I got some questions and I want to see if WPML meets my needs:
I want to add a language switcher to my website and people who visit my web can use this language switcher to convert web content between English and other languages according to their needs when browsing this website. This is all I want and I don’t need other complicated functions actually. Is the $29 package sufficient to meet my requirements? (It will not be a problem for me to insert the translations by myself.)

    Best regards,
    Nikki

    • Hello, in this case, you can start with the Blog package and if it turns out that you need some features from the CMS package you can upgrade for the difference in the purchase price.

  3. I can’t login in our account. It’s an old account (from 2015) and the login e-mail address has a domain extension we don’t have anymore, so the recovery option fails. Please help me get back in our account. Thank you.

  4. Hello,
I just have a problem with upgrade to AGENCY. I want to pay with credit card but it gets me an alert : Sorry, the minimum allowed order total is $0.50 to use this payment method.

So we are not able to upgrade because it charges us only $0,22. And yes we need to pay via credit card. What can we do?
    Thanks

  5. Hello

I’m freelancer, and I have the Agency version of WPML.

Can I just install the plugin and activate it to my clients and insert the key, without translation?

    Thank you.

  6. Hi,

  7. Dear Support,

I would like to buy WPML plugin. I am living in Canary Island and my business is also here. Canarias has a special tax system. However we are in EU (Spain), but there is no VAT here, we have to pay I.G.I.C.

My problem is your ordering system would like to make me paid Spanish VAT, what I cannot reclaim in my accounting.

Here is the official statement about canarian taxes:
    https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/other-taxes/turnover-taxes-canary-islands_en

Could you make an invoice without VAT for me?

    Thanks for your help!

    Edina Gora

    • Hello,
the languages switcher will appear automatically on the pages that have been translated. If you don’t want to translate a specific page/post, you don’t have to and then the users won’t see the language switcher.

    • Steve,
I just tested what happens when we left some of the pages not translated and it turns out that the other languages won’t appear in the languages switcher but the language switcher will be there, just showing the main language. It won’t disappear completely. I’m not sure if this is something you can accept.

  8. Dear Support,

I would like to buy WPML Multilingual CMS for my webshop. I am living in Tenerife (Canary Islands) and my business also works here. However we are in EU (Spain), we are not part of the VAT area. Canarias has special tax, called I.G.I.C.

Here is the offical statement: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/other-taxes/turnover-taxes-canary-islands_en

My issue is that your ordering system make the invoice with Spanish VAT, it is 21% and because of the special tax status I could not reclaime this tax and I also have to pay the I.G.I.C as well.

Could you send me an invoice without VAT?

  9. Hello,

We purchased a license earlier this week, but the payment still says Pending. Can you look into this please? Thanks!

    • Hello Sarah,
I am sorry for this. The invoice is pending payment, which means we have not charged you for it. You need to log in to your account and you will find a button to pay for it. Go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout.

      Kind regards,

  10. Hello,

I’m considering buying the WPML plugin for my Elementor site but first a clarifying question.

I actually have 2 different sites, both mine, can I use the personal WPML licence on both sites?

    Best, Jen

    • Hello Jen,
thank you very much for your questions. I’m not sure what you mean by “personal WPML licence”. If you have the “Multilingual Blog” package (the one for $29) in mind, please note that with this package you will be able to register only one domain and second, to use WPML with Elementor, you need the “Multilingual CMS” package.

  11. Hi,

    I run a small agency. 10 to 15 websites a year.

I need to be able to translate strings f.e. in woocommerce.

It did not went well enough with f.ex. Loco.

I want to have the process trouble free.

    Regards,
    Petur

    • Hello Petur,
WPML and Loco translate plugins are two different plugins for two different goals. Loco is for translating string from English to other languages. WPML is to make your site multilingual, meaning available for more than one language. WPML allows you to translate strings from WooCommerce too but when you need to have your store in at least two languages.

  12. Hi, i would like to make some presale questions. I don’t have an account yet. I’m interested for translating woocomerce for more than 3 websites. I have read the below information.

“To use WooCommerce Multilingual, you need to have the following plugins installed and activated:

    WooCommerce Multilingual
    WPML 4.0 or above
WPML String Translation 2.8 or above
WPML Translation Management 2.6 or above
    WooCommerce 3.3.0 or later”

Which plugins i will have to buy? Have all the required plugins to be bought individually or come with the WPML plugin? What is the total cost that i have to pay at first in order to use the WooCommerce Multilingual, what is the total cost for renewal and is the renewal cost required or optional?

    Thanks in advance.

    • Hello Goorge,
you say “I’m interested for translating woocomerce for more than 3 websites”. Does it mean you want to (1) make your site available in 3 languages or (2) you want your site to be in only one language but translated? If (1), yes, WPML will help you, if (2), you don’t need WPML but a plugin such as Loco translate.

You will find all the plugins you listed in the $79 (Multilingual CMS) package and also in the Multilingual Agency package.
You will see the pricing here:
      https://wpml.org/purchase/

$79 is for the first year, updates and support included. If you want to keep your subscription active for the next years, it would be $59 for each year. You can also cancel your subscription and keep using the plugins but without access to new versions and our support forum.

In case you would like to use machine translations (it’s optional), you will see the pricing here:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/

  13. Hi,

I am trying to purchase the plugin with EU VAT, but I see that VAT is applied during checkout. Should I do something to avoid this?

Also, is there another way to pay, instead of PayPal and Stripe?

    Thanks,
    Vasileios

  14. Hi,

I left a comment earlier, but it seems that for some reason was disappeared.

My comment was about EU VAT, and that I still see VAT applied after I insert my VAT ID.

I saw an earlier comment from somebody else that had a similar request, so I confirm that I will use this email to purchase the plugin.

    Thanks,
    Vasileios

  15. Hello there

Looking forward to use the plugin.

I still haven’t got the confirmation mail with login credentials.
Have tried the lost password function, but nothing is showing.

    Please help 🙂
    Best Nico

  16. Hello,
    I have 2 questions:

    1) If i buy the licence at 79$ and that I want to upgrade it to 159$ licence, what will be the price ?

    2) After one year I can’t update the extension but I can still use it ?

    Thanks

    • Hello,
      1) our system will calculate the difference between what you have already paid and the new price
      2) yes, exactly

  17. I need to make a purchase Multilingual CMS for the website of the organization i work at, University.
but we do not pay by creditcards or Paypal, we pay by by money transfer through the bank, it is possible?

  18. hello,

I want to make sure whether you provide the feature to detect the user’s language is automatically detected and switched to that particular translated page?

    • Hello,
we have an option (it’s disabled by default you would need to turn it on) that allows you to detect the user’s languages according to his/her languages set in his/her browser. Please note that good practice is to provide the language switcher.

  19. Hello,
I’m trying to purchase the plugin but it only gives me the option to pay via Paypal. Can you assist? Thanks!

    • Hello Hillary,
At checkout you will see the option to select Alternative payment processor, to pay with your debit/credit card directly.

      • Thanks but I’m not getting that option, only to login via Paypal. It prompts me to enter my email or mobile number to “Pay with PayPal” or cancel and return to WPML.

Am I missing something or need to do a different step before this on the checkout page? Thanks!

        • Hello Hillary,
          Have you tried the following:
          1. Use a different payment processor
          2. Switch to stripe
          3. And then you can enter your card number
