I want to add a language switcher to my website and people who visit my web can use this language switcher to convert web content between English and other languages according to their needs when browsing this website. This is all I want and I don’t need other complicated functions actually. Is the $29 package sufficient to meet my requirements? (It will not be a problem for me to insert the translations by myself.)
Hello, in this case, you can start with the Blog package and if it turns out that you need some features from the CMS package you can upgrade for the difference in the purchase price.

So we are not able to upgrade because it charges us only $0,22. And yes we need to pay via credit card. What can we do?

We charge you for the Agency subscription and you can install WPML on unlimited sites. If you want to charge your clients for installing WPML on their sites, it’s up to you 🙂
Note this will not give them access to a new account and they will still receive updates and support through your subscription.

no, it’s not possible. Language prefix needs to go first. If you want your post title to go first you can use another format that will look like this: https://xample.com/some-artcle/?lang=en with the question mark followed by the “lang=” keyword.

the languages switcher will appear automatically on the pages that have been translated. If you don’t want to translate a specific page/post, you don’t have to and then the users won’t see the language switcher.

I just tested what happens when we left some of the pages not translated and it turns out that the other languages won’t appear in the languages switcher but the language switcher will be there, just showing the main language. It won’t disappear completely. I’m not sure if this is something you can accept.

If you have the “Multilingual Blog” package (the one for $29) in mind, please note that with this package you will be able to register only one domain and second, to use WPML with Elementor, you need the “Multilingual CMS” package.

WPML and Loco translate plugins are two different plugins for two different goals. Loco is for translating string from English to other languages. WPML is to make your site multilingual, meaning available for more than one language. WPML allows you to translate strings from WooCommerce too but when you need to have your store in at least two languages.

If (1), yes, WPML will help you, if (2), you don’t need WPML but a plugin such as Loco translate.

we have an option (it’s disabled by default you would need to turn it on) that allows you to detect the user’s languages according to his/her languages set in his/her browser. Please note that good practice is to provide the language switcher.

What do you mean by that you bought the service through our agency from China? Did you use this site (wpml.org)? This is the only possible way to buy WPML from us. I didn’t find your email in our system. You cannot register your domain without having an active account here, at wpml.org. If you bought WPML from somewhere else it won’t work.

Hey I can reach out to our provider but they are just normal Master Cards, I tried our US and Canadian one and neither worked.
The error comes from your bank not authorizing the payment. Let me contact you via email about this. It will be easier to follow up.

This will create the language versions of the site. When your clients are ready, they can send the content to translate, using one of our translation methods
