I am trying to purchase and using stripe for the payment, however, I am receiving the following message:
“An account is already registered with your email address. Please login.
Use the Lost password form if you do not know or remember your access credentials.”
I am sure I did not register before. I also used another email account and it gives me the same error message.
I can see an order in pending status with your email. The invoice is pending payment, which means we have not charged you for it. You need to log in to your account and you will find a button to pay for it. Go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout. If you need to request a new password you can do it here https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/
Morning, if I purchase the “Multilingual CMS” package, can I upgrade to the “Multilingual Agency” package before the deadline … and at what price?
Thanks, regards!
Hello,
to use machine translation from Google you need to sign up for an automatic translation account (you go to WPML → Translation Management and click the Translation Tools tab). You will get 2000 credits for free (1 word = 2 credits for Google translation). If you need more credits, you can welcome to use them but we will charge you according to this table: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
You can also wait till the end of the month and then your free quota will be “renewed” and you again you will have 2000 credits for free.
CUrrently using weglit but may have to transfer to WPML since too costly since too many pageviews for no explicable reasons. Could my translation be imported from Weglot and if yes, how is that done?
Hello,
we don’t have any tool to migrate from Weglot to WPML (we have some for Plylang and qTranslate plugins but not ), so you would need to remove Weglot completely (please check with their support how to do it) and then install WPML.
Back in 2014 I was granted a free life-time WPML subscription for my client – a charitable
organization. Is there no longer a discounted option for non-profit organizations?
We are looking for a way to translate our wordpress woocommerece website. However I have a question on how we should arrange it. Preferably we would like to change in toplevel domains. Now it is roosensteinwolke.nl and we would like to translate into roosensteinwolke.de (German). What are the possibilities here? Would we need to upload products twice or can we just upload once like when you use the following url: http://www.roosensteinwolke.nl/de
Hello,
my customer wants a chinese version of a german wordpress site (in development right now).
Does your plugin support chinese (looks like it)?
What do we have to take into account when we plan a chinese version?
Hello,
yes, WPML supports the Chinese language too. There is nothing special to take into consideration. If you are interested in using machine translations please check this table: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs
I have a woocommerce setup with Advanced Custom Fields. I would like to access the translated content (Product Categories, Product Title and the Advanced Custom Fields) via wp-json that will be used for displaying them in Android App. Before purchasing the plugin, I would like to check if wpml supports wp-json output for Product Categories, Product Title and ACF. Can you please indicate how would a category wp-json url will look like. Any demos?
We are always working to improve our compatibility with the REST API. For example, our latest WooCommerce Multilingual 4.11.0 added REST API support for more compatibility with taxonomies, product variations, reports. You can find more information about it here: https://wpml.org/version/woocommerce-multilingual-4-11-0/
We have a client who would like some languages to direct to a different domain extension (e.g. .be, .fr) and for each domain extension to have languages on them that stay on the same domain in different directories (e.g. /be/, /fr/).
To better explain, please look here: https://www.yoursurprise.be/. This site has Dutch and French (top right) in different directories within the same domain, but you can also select the country (top right). If you choose Switzerland, that domain extension has German and French in different directories on the same domain. If you choose EU or UK it takes you to two separate domain extensions in the same language.
I know that your plugin allows you to redirect each user to a different URL depending on the language selected; however, I don’t know if I can set SOME languages to stay on the same domain. Is there a simplish way to do what I have explained using your plugin (i.e. without developing separate websites)?
Hello Ryan, you want to mix different language formats which is not possible with WPML, sorry 🙁
but you can’t have languages per domain and languages per directory on the same site.
Hi, I wanted to confirm, is WPML a plugin? After I paid for it, could I install it as a plugin directly to my web? Because my engineering knowledge is very very little. I wanted to make sure it is very easy to use.
Any other for the CMS option is there any limit for words that could be translated?
Hello,
yes, WPML is a plugin and actually a set of plugins (depending on what you need). If you need to use machine translations, you will need one than one WPML plugin, but simply install the main one (it’s called WPML Multilingual CMS) and WPML wizard will guide you through what to do next.
Hi, we have encountered a problem where certain questions in our FAQ sections keep being overwritten by their Traditional Chinese counterparts, and we would like to know whether this problem can be solved by purchasing one of the plans. Could you please verify?
Also, if we purchase a plan and do not renew it, will all the functions still be available to us? Thanks in advance!
Hi Willie,
I cannot say from here it will work, but you can try WPML and if needed, ask for help in our forum. If it doesn’t work, we will refund you. You have up to 30 days.
If you don’t renew you can keep using WPML as it is installed on your site but without receiving updates or support.
Hello,
No, I am afraid we do not have free tests of WPML. You can try it for 30 days and if it does not work for you, we will refund you. https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/
Hi, I want to use this plugin on my website. Just want to make sure if we can change URL prefix. for example currently if I try Arabic it shows ‘ar’ but I need ‘arabic’ in URL. Kindly, confirm if that is possible?
Do you know if your plugin is currently being used to translate the Listing Pro theme into Spanish? I’m currently setting up the theme in English and would like to add Spanish and possibly German as additional languages.
I’ve tried using the Polylang plugin, however, within the ‘Theme Options’ settings which control various text, there is no way to currently translate this text.
I was told by the theme’s dev. that some of their customers are using WPML. When you say WPML is not compatible, can I not hire a coder to make it compatible?
Hello!
I see the failed payment with your credit card. The bank returns the message “Insufficient funds” Can you please double check on this ir try with a different card?
1. My developer installed your plugin using his agency version, but he did not give any key, don’t you offer key for each website under agency package ? will I receive still get updates ?
2. If I buy your USD 29? will it effect that agency version and become a blog version ?
3. I bought words 100 000 and will buy again 100 000/USD 17, if I do not use all words, will it expire after one month ? Then I again need to buy for a month ?
4. I do get error message in string translation ‘ translation doesn’t update’, but it save in the boxes ? What is the issue and how avoid it ?
5. My footer translation doesn’t work perfectly, footer menu shows in other languages, but sub menu links doesn’t translate, still show the English and when I click still direct to English version, but When I select a language using a bar, then it translate that page into other language. How I directly show footer menu and sub-menu in particular language, I have done string translation, but it doesn’t work, I use synchronizing option as well, but it doesn’t direct any other translation. Do I need to translate through widget -All language -select, German french one by one and translate ?
6. Under the footer sub menus, there are same products categories (which shows same in primary menu bar as translated products), but doesn’t show in footer, in English version it shows ? How it fix ?
Hello,
1. Yes, please ask your developer to register the site and you will receive updates. Alternatively, he can also transfer the account to you: https://wpml.org/purchase/transferring-account-renewals-to-your-clients/
2. If you buy the USD 29 account, you will get access only to the main WPML plugin (I don’t know how many WPML plugins you have installed on your site, if more than one, the USD 29 account won’t suffice)
3. No, the words (actually there are credits) you bought won’t expire until you use them. You need to buy new credits for content you already translated.
4. I cannot help much with this one here in the comments that is meant to be for pre-sales questions. You would need to open a ticket on our support forum for further invertigation.
5. Here, again, that’s an issue for our support forum.
6. And again, please open a ticket on our support forum. To open a ticket you need to have an active Toolset subscription or ask your developer to do so.
I am trying to purchase and using stripe for the payment, however, I am receiving the following message:
“An account is already registered with your email address. Please login.
Use the Lost password form if you do not know or remember your access credentials.”
I logged in. I can see my order, the status is “pending” and I don’t know how to complete the process.
Hello Stefano, if your invoice is pending it means we have not charged you for it. You need to log in to your account and you will find a button to pay for it. Please go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout. If you need to request a new password you can do it here https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/

Please could you confirm whether I can use WPML to not only show multiple currencies but also handle payments in multiple currencies?
I’m building a B2B/B2C multi-vendor marketplace specialising in Japanese products. I need to provide escrow services where buyers located outside of Japan can send their funds in their local currencies and I can release the funds converted into Japanese Yen to sellers located in Japan once the buyers are happy with delivered products from the sellers.
I use the following in addition to WPML.
– WordPress/WooCommerce
– ReHub Theme
– Dokan Multivendor Marketplace Plug-in (Business Version)
– B2BKing The Ultimate WooCommerce B2B & Wholesale Plugin
– B2BKing B2B and Wholesale for Dokan MultiVendor Marketplace (Add-on)
– Woocommerce – Transferwise Integration (https://jarrydlong.co.za/woocommerce-transferwise-integration/) when it’s released.
We are planning to translate our site into other languages and since we pay every month DeepL API (it’s called DeepL Pro if i am not wrong) we were wondering if we could use it with WPML.
Otherwise how it works, we need to use the own WPML and buy DeepL credits from there? They seem more expensive and we have tons of articles that’s why we ask.

Hello
For the automatic translation, should I pay the charge (ex: 2$ for 2001-5000 words) each month? Or just one time
Just one time. The translations are saved for good.
Thank You.
Morning, if I purchase the “Multilingual CMS” package, can I upgrade to the “Multilingual Agency” package before the deadline … and at what price?
Thanks, regards!
Yes, you can (you will pay the difference).
Thanks for the quick reply!!
Hello
on the site it says “You can pay for WPML using a credit card, PayPal, debit cards, or wire transfers” but when I try to buy only Paypal is offered.
Is it possible to pay by credit card?
Thank you
Hello Marco,
Yes, you need to select Alternative payment processor at checkout amd you will be able to pay with your credit card directly.
Do you offer any type of discount for non-profit organizations looking to purchase WooCommerce Multilingual?
Hi Megan,
Please send me your url and nonprofit details here https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/

Hello,
WPML can handle languages and different domains but some extra work is required. Please check this page to understand how it works:
https://wpml.org/tutorials/2016/04/use-wpml-different-domains-per-language/
Then, you would upload the products just once and then translate what you need to translate using WPML.

Hello Ryan, you want to mix different language formats which is not possible with WPML, sorry 🙁
but you can’t have languages per domain and languages per directory on the same site.
A possible workaround could be to select the languages per domain option and use subdomains inside:
Thanks for the information and workaround. Would there be a way to do this with hooks and minor customization?
We don’t have anything like that documented and everything that requires custom coding is beyond our scope of support.

Let me double check on this with the tech team. I will let you know.

The tech team say they will reach out to the authors again and see if there’s any progress.
I will let you know via email when there is an update.

Hello Tateru,
Our WooCommerce Multilingual allows you to user different currencies and set them per location or language. You will find more information about it here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/multi-currency-support-woocommerce/#configuring-currencies
However, it seems like you also have a highly customized WordPress installation, so I recommend you to check our list of compatible plugins and themes:
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/
I hope it helps.
