Hi,
I would like to have some more informations about the process described here: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/using-wordpress-rest-api-woocommerce-multilingual/
This is my situation: my client has a CRM already connected via WooCommerce REST API to his e-commerce site to create, read, update and delete WooCommerce content. Now he would like to make his site multilingual using WPML and WooCommerce Multilingual add-on, but we have doubts about the “Setting Up The Client Library” section of link above because we use a shared hosting on Siteground and we haven’t access to some function described.
Regards,
Thanks for the feedback but my site is using Elementor as a builder. here is my website http://i-am.am/ – I know I can upgrate at any time but good to know at the beginning. I mostly need that the business listings ( business woners) be able to submit in multiple languages their business lisitngs.
Hello, Elementor-based site required the CMS package (the Blog one won’t suffice). If you use a plugin to run a Business Directory, please also check if this plugin is compatible with WPML: https://wpml.org/plugin/
Comment section doesnt allow me to reply to the thread saying I have a dublicate. my site is using elementor builder – will that be ok for wpml blog version
I’m looking to purchase WPML for multiple domain for different langauges of main website, just had a couple of questions and wish to use google anayltics, google search console and Bing webmaster to different langauges.
maindomain.com other lanagauges of main domain – maindomain.jp – maindomain.ru – maindomain.cn
Just a few questions
1. Will the other versions updated automatically when the main domain publishes new content
2. How are the credit work
3. How do you submit content to search engines
Hello Ben,
I’ll try to answer your questions in order:
1. When you use WPML in your site, you have only one WordPress installation. That means that you only need to maintain one site. Regarding the content, with the current version or WPML, whenever you publish new content, you will need to send it to translation manually.
Hi, @mercedes Please give me a PayPal link to pay your remaining bill because I can pay only with PayPal Visa/Master Card is Expired also Finished Balance so please send me any PayPal link for update the bill Thanks…
Hello,
I’m sorry but we don’t accept direct payments, everything needs to go through our system. Please sort out the issues with your PayPal account or you can pay with a credit card instead.
Hello,
I was wondering is there any way to redirect visitors to specific pages based on their IP address? I don’t want my visitors to have to select their languages manually, but rather when they come on my site, it registers their address and their language is automatically selected.
Or Is it possible to integrate WPML with Geo Targetly? Or would WPML provide this service also?
Thank you.
Given that I no longer have 3 sites to translate, I’d like to change my Multilingual CMS account for the Multilingual Blog. I understand I have to request a refund for the last payment and order the processing of the new, Blog account.
My question: Will the plugins currently installed no longer work on the site? Will the Blog account require a different set of plugins and a whole new setup to the site? I’m concerned about the downtime of the site while I do this and having to climb the learning curve to make the new setup work.
I would like to confirm a few things. I want to be able to have my website translated with no set limit to the amount of languages because we are still confirming the languages we’d like to include and know there are several. I also want to confirm that we do not have to provide translations ourselves as that is currently a pain point in itself.
Hello Jessica,
if you are interested in using machine translations there are some limitations in terms of languages supported. Please check this page: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs
Hi
Sorry if these are beginner questions! I’m thinking of buying this plugin, but want to check…
I really want to make several landing pages for our site for different countries, and I heard the way to do it was subdirectories, but then i saw someone mention this plugin.
Firstly we would like to get landing pages listed well in google in other countries. I gather that means re-writing the content so it isnt a copy. Some of our target countries would still read in English – UK, USA, AUS, Singapore etc. Would this plugin help? Would we need to re-write all content to target countries?
Does this plugin create subfolders for countries like xyz.com/uk to serve the uk specifc version of the page?
Hello Dave,
WPML helps you to make your whole site multilingual. Yes, it creates translations in directories (these are virtual directories created by WPML based on the language code). You don’t need to translate all your pages, only the ones you need. You can also add different English languages and if you don’t want to rewrite the content you can use the duplicate feature we provide and then click “translate independently”.
Thanks for your reply. I have proceeded with the refund and attempted to purchase the Blog but I am sent this:
You already have an account that includes all the features of this account.
I have deactivated all the WPML plugins (save the Multilingual WPML CMS) and the site works fine.
It seems I have to wait until you effectually close down the account before I can purchase the Blog Multilingual.
Hi there,
I’m searching for a plugin to use and yours is on the list to review.
1) do you have a development version I can use to test on my website?
2) does it work seamlessly with Gutenberg?
thanks
J
Hello James, thank you for your interest in WPML.
1. No, we don’t provide any free version. You can buy WPML keeping our refund policy in mind that a
2. Yes, it does. You create your content with blocks only for the primary language and when you translate a block-based page, WPML will parse the content so that you can translate only the text strings without the need of recreating the layout for other languages. You can also use machine translations if needed, which you can edit of course.
hi,
I was told by your WPML for my marketplace website. Before i buy i have a quick question.
You see, i was using TranslatePress before and it cannot support by native App and to make matter worse, TranslatePress has caused so many problems to my site by consuming all CPU.
I have done so much work translation manually because auto translation does not all the time be accurate.
My question is: will WPML recognize the data from the server that is already translated? I wouldn’t want to start over again months of work
Hello,
we don’t have any converter from TranslatePress to WPML. You will need to manually migrate your translations I’m afraid. You might want to ask for some hints on our technical support forum once you have a WPML account but basically, you will need to do most of the work again I’m afraid. When WPML 4.5 is out (in late August/September) it will provide a new option called “translate the whole site automatically” which will do the job for you. Machine translations will be applied but you can review them and edit if needed. We are integrated with the following services: Google, DeepL and AZure by Miscrosoft. These tools are becoming better and better and the more context you provide, the better your translation is. You can use WPML 4.5 even now but currently we provide only the beta version.
I am contacting you from SoftwareONE(reseller). One of our client “SARSTEDT AG & Co. KG” had purchased “1x WPML Multilingual CMS” last year and the same is due for renewal this August so shall I simply quote them the renewal price as $59.00?
Hello, I currently publish content for two websites, both part of the same company.
“Website 1” uses your “Multilingual CMS” package, and “website 2” does not use any of your services.
I would like to know, since it supposedly supports up to 3 websites, if I can just use the key from “Multilingual CMS” on “website 2”, so I can translate the english content into french and portuguese.
Hello Guillherme,
If you have a CMS subscription you can register up to 3 sites through your account. You are welcome to register “website 2” to use WPML.
Images on translated arabic homepage are not aligned. The other homepages have the images aligned correctly but we haven’t been able to find the error.

Hello,
we don’t sell lifetime accounts anymore. Clients who bought Lifetime accounts years ago can still use WPML on an unlimited number of sites.
Hi,
I have a few questions – and would like to get an individual contact!
– Is there limit on added languages?
– Different domain per language?
– Language display options?
Please contact me per e-mail, as it would be preferred for the company.

3. Yes, you can enable/disable flags you can display your language names in the target language, stuff like this.

Hello John,
WPML itself provides a feature that lets you redirect the visitor based on the language set in his/her browser (not on IP). But if you need IP-based redirections feel free to check one of these two plugins:
https://wpml.org/plugin/geotargetingwp/
https://wpml.org/plugin/wpml-redirect-based-on-ip-country/
Hello. How do I downgrade my plan? Thanks
Hello, we don’t provide a way to do it automatically. You would need to cancel your existing subscription and buy a new one.

Hi, do you have promo codes or discounts for new customers? How could I save money, because I have a small site. Thank you-)
Hello, we don’t have any promo codes but it’s good to buy WPML now because we plan to increase the prices and this won’t apply to existing users. https://wpml.org/announcements/2021/07/upcoming-wpml-price-increase-how-to-save-by-signing-up-for-automatic-renewals/
Hi,
I want to purchase WPML for multisite sub directory installation.
Multilingual CMS supports 3 websites. But I will have multiple sub directories.
Which license should I purchase? Multilingual CMS or Multilingual Agency?

Hi, WordPress Multisite is considered one site, so you will need only one key, meaning the CMS package will suffice in your case.
