To whom it may concerns,
I can’t find the Word count estimation tool any more (I didn’t bookmark the page).
I need to see how many words my website has before I purchase.
I checked it a while ago and need to check it again, because there has been deletions made.
I want to check the new count.
We recommend getting the Multilingual CMS subscription.
It includes all of WPML’s features and add-ons and allows you to use WPML on 3 production and 9 development sites.
For your information, our Multilingual Blog subscription is more affordable, but also has limited features.
It usually fits blog owners who translate their site themselves.
This subscription only includes WPML Multilingual CMS (the core plugin) without any of the add-ons.
So if you need to translate strings in themes and plugins, this subscription is not the right choice for you.
We appreciate your interest in purchasing a WPML subscription!
With our Multilingual CMS subscription, you can either translate your site manually or automatically.
Since I can see you are using Elementor on your site, the Multilingual CMS subscription is a good choice for you.

I just ordered the WPML CMS multilingual plugin, but I misspelled our e-mail address. So I cannot login to the new account, and cannot contact you for support regarding changing the wrongly spelled e-mail address to the correct one. Could you please send me an e-mail to the correct address provided, so I can start using your product?
We have a site that was developed using Advanced Custom Fields. We are planning on translating only certain pages, posts and menu items but are wondering if there is a way to create custom URLs for these translations. For example, the domain name for the home page is domain.com, but if we want to do a Chinese translation, would WPML change the URL to domain.com/zh/ for the translated version? The same would go for other pages posts where the URLs would have to change from English to the native translation.
Hi I made my payment 5 days ago and the platform says I still have to pay for the service, meanwhile I was able to download the invoice of the accepted payment from my account but I can’t get in touch with support because it says I need to renew my payment which I did, can someone please help me?

I’m currently evaluating translation plugins (TranslatePress ‘Business plan’ and yours) for my WooCommerce-based store and considering your Multilingual Agency plan, but I have a few questions and concerns I’d like to clarify before making a purchase.
1. I’m still confused about the 180,000 translation credits for Automatic Translation. Does this include DeepL automatic translation for free?
2. I want to translate my site into: German (priority), French, and Lithuanian. Possibly Spanish and Italian in the future. Can you confirm you support those languages?
3. Also I run a store that sells unique vintage clothing, so I have many one-of-a-kind products (around 80 words per product). I have around 600 products in stock, adding about 80 new products each month. And I have around 6,000 out-of-stock products that are still indexed on Google and generate traffic. Can I choose to translate only certain products or categories to save on translation costs? And what happens if I exceed the credit limit? How much does it cost to translate additional words?
4. Can you confirm if your plugin is fully compatible with my website:
WooCommerce version: 3.4.8
WordPress version: 4.9.26
PHP version: 7.2.34
Theme: Aurum
3. Translation management and pricing
a) Can I choose to translate only certain products or categories to save on translation costs?
answer: yes. With the Translation Management Dashboard you can send the selected products to translation
b) And what happens if I exceed the credit limit?
You can buy automatic translation credits through pay-as-you-go or prepaid packages. You can also choose to manually translate your content which incurs no credit fees since you do the work youself.
I requested a refund for my WPML subscription on 6. march/ but have not received the refund yet. It has been 10 days. Could you please check the status of my refund and update me on the progress?
My apologies for your frustration with the request submitted on 6 march – we cannot find any record of this. We can, however, see the refund request that was submitted two days ago and it should be handled today. Thank you for your ongoing patience.
I tried to renew my subscription, but it shows the price as a new subscription instead of the renewal price. Previously, we paid $59 USD, but now it shows €99. Could you please assist?
We are looking to use this plugin and I wondered if there is anything we should be aware of from an EAA perspective? What level of accessibility does it meet?
In WPML Translation settings, I have set up the URL format to the sub-directory version, which was earlier set to the language parameter (?lang=en). But somehow I am unable to get rid of the parameter URL (https://expertextend.de/en/?lang=en). Now I have two versions of the URL, that is: “https://expertextend.de/en/?lang=en” and “https://expertextend.de/en/”.
Some of the new WordPress development works well on “?lang=en” version and creates problems on “/en” version.
These errors don’t affect the staging website they only affect the live website.
Please try resaving your permalinks from the WordPress dashboard: Settings > Permalinks > Save Changes (you don’t need to make any changes – just select the button)
This should rewrite your permalinks to reflect the current configuration settings..
If this does not resolve your issue, there may be a plugin conflict. Please contact our Support Forum here: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/
They are better placed to resolve any technical issues than PreSales.
Hi,
Before proceeding with the purchase, I’d like to ask a few questions:
1. Is it possible to set up automatic translations for all existing languages? If so, what is the cost?
2. Does the plugin automatically translate based on the user’s location?
3. We are using WordPress with the Elementor builder and the Houzez theme — is your plugin fully compatible with this setup? We previously tried Polylang, but it didn’t support Elementor properly.
1. Is it possible to set up automatic translations for all existing languages? If so, what is the cost?
Yes, it is possible to setup automatic translations “on demand” for all installed languages on your site. However, for “immediate and automatic” translations, this can only be setup for language pairs that have the site default language as the source. To execute “on demand” translations, you would do this using the Translation Management Dashboard.
More here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/
2. Does the plugin automatically translate based on the user’s location?
Our plugin creates translated posts in your database. This means that when a user accesses the translated content, there is no “automatic translation” or “dynamic translation in realtime” happening. You can setup a Browser Language Redirection for first time visitors but if you are looking for geolocation redirection, we work with other plugins for this capability:
3. We are using WordPress with the Elementor builder and the Houzez theme — is your plugin fully compatible with this setup? We previously tried Polylang, but it didn’t support Elementor properly.
We are compatible “out of the box” with basic Elementor widgets. For “custom” widgets which appear in many themes and plgins, this may require you to contact our support to fully register the widget so that it is visible to the plugin. We have many clients using Houzez and Elementor. Here is our official documentation on both.
Hi, I wanted to know if you have English to Chinese (Mandarin), as per client request it must be Mandarin dialect. So I needed to know before I purchase.
What this means: these are pre-defined languages that align with the language locales supported by WordPress. This means that you can easily translate your theme and plugin langauges as well as content to align with recognised WordPress languages and hreflang codes. https://translate.wordpress.org/
What this does NOT mean: these are not all the languages that are supported by machine translation engines like Deepl, Azure, Google Translate. For AUTOMATIC translation, you need to check the following:
3. Are you searching for machine language translation where you control what gets translated and when? Or are you looking for immediate automated translation and content publication as soon as new content appears on your site?
For the first option, controlled translations, you may translate from any installed language to another installed language by using the Translation Management Dashboard: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/
The second option, however, is only available when the source language is the site default language. The target language can be any other installed language on your site, but it can only be FROM the site default language. Here is a video displaying this process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5Qhmhp31jk
Could you please help with the support email address?
I don’t have the registered email address to login to the WPML dashboard and raise a new ticket. Due to this, I am unable to contact the technical team at WPML. Please help me here.
So before I go ahead and buy I want to check on a few things:
My situation is that I only need to translate a few of my woocommerce products – less than 5 (about 10 languages). I also want to translate the homepage, checkout, basket and about us pages.
I need automatic translation
I would prefer the browser displayed the language based on browser settings.
It would be good if I could blank out/remove other menu items and make them unfollowable if I don’t sell in that country. As I mentioned I am only selling a couple of products internationally and don’t want to confuse people by allowing them access to stuff they can’t buy. I don’t mind if the menu items disappear or are greyed out.
Finally, do you work well with premmerce permalinks manager? I tried another translation solution and there was a conflict with them both trying to amend the url and it going into a permanent loop. There was a work around by leaving the url in English but just asking.
In short, WPML meets all the requirements you listed, except that there are known issues with the Premmerce Permalink Manager plugin.
Selective Product Translation:
Yes, WPML allows you to translate only selected products. You can do this directly from the product list in your admin panel or via WPML > Translation Management.
Translating Pages:
Yes, you can translate your homepage and About Us page. I see that your site uses the Astra theme, which is fully compatible with WPML.
Checkout and Basket Pages:
These are standard WooCommerce pages. WooCommerce provides translations for most languages out of the box. If these pages are not already translated, go to Dashboard > Updates, scroll to the bottom to the “Translation” section, and click the “Update Translations” button.
If the button doesn’t appear, it means your WooCommerce and Astra translations are already up to date.
If WooCommerce is not translated into one of your target languages, you can translate the relevant text strings manually or automatically via WPML > Translation Management > Other Strings.
Browser Language Redirection:
WPML allows you to set up redirection based on the visitor’s browser language, though this feature is disabled by default and not generally recommended. Using a language switcher is usually more effective, especially since your site will begin receiving organic traffic in the appropriate language automatically.
However, if you’d still like to use this feature, you can find more information here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/
Language-Specific Menus:
Yes, WPML lets you set different menus for different languages. This supports your goal of displaying a limited navigation menu in certain languages, showing only items that have been translated. This is the default WPML behavior—untranslated menu items simply won’t be displayed (there’s no option to show them greyed out). You can further customize the menus if needed.
We need to transition from Gtranslate to WPML. We currently use the Divi template, but we only have 1 website with that and we only use 1 laguage translation (2 languges total, French and English). Can you please suggest which is the smoothest transition for this process? We offer 24/7 services so our translated site can’t be down for too long. Thank you.
Please also advice which subscription will be best, considering we only use 1 website and 2 languages total.
If you need 24/7 availability, I would recommend that you use a staging site to do your translations with WPML. When you have completed the translations on the staging site, you could then plan for a “switchover” moment when the gTranslate site is taken “offline” and replaced with the WordPress files from the staging site that uses WPML.
This is something your webmaster or hosting support can help you do.
You asked : “Please also advice which subscription will be best, considering we only use 1 website and 2 languages total.
”
Answer: Most themes that support page-builders like Divi Builder would require WPML CMS subscription level to be able to have access to the WPML String Translation plugin. The String Translation addon is essential for translating strings and other non-content text within the Divi theme builder, ensuring all elements are fully multilingual.
I am trying to make a payment through Paypal but for some reasons i am having issues with them. I have written to them but it will apparently take a couple of days to get resolved as they would be making deposits to my account for verification. And i need your plugin urgently. Is there any alternative payment method for India?

Hi, Jeff.
The work cound estimation toll is now in WPML -> Translation Management Dashboard.
When you select content for transaltion you also get the estimated word count.
Please read about in our Translation Management guide here:

Hello
You asked:
Short answer: yes, if you use the URL format of “Different languages in directories”.
You can read more about this here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/
The permalinks are done via WordPress rewrite rules so these are not real directories.
I hope this clarifies your options.

Hi,
Before proceeding with the purchase, I’d like to ask a few questions:
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Hello
1. Is it possible to set up automatic translations for all existing languages? If so, what is the cost?
Our plugin creates translated posts in your database. This means that when a user accesses the translated content, there is no “automatic translation” or “dynamic translation in realtime” happening. You can setup a Browser Language Redirection for first time visitors but if you are looking for geolocation redirection, we work with other plugins for this capability:
GeoTargeting Plugins: https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/geotargeting/
Browser Language Redirection: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/
3. We are using WordPress with the Elementor builder and the Houzez theme — is your plugin fully compatible with this setup? We previously tried Polylang, but it didn’t support Elementor properly.
Hi, I wanted to know if you have English to Chinese (Mandarin), as per client request it must be Mandarin dialect. So I needed to know before I purchase.
Thanks
Osman
I’ve answered this question in the reply to your other posting.
Kind regards
Actually I think Traditional or Simplified Chinese will work. Can you advise if it supports both of these.
Thanks
Osman
Hello
I will answer both of your questions here.
1. Supported langauges
WPML comes preconfigured with the following languages: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/pre-configured-languages/
What this means: these are pre-defined languages that align with the language locales supported by WordPress. This means that you can easily translate your theme and plugin langauges as well as content to align with recognised WordPress languages and hreflang codes.
https://translate.wordpress.org/
What is relevant to you is that both Traditional and Simplified chinese are preconfigured. If there is another dialect that you want to add with special language codes and locales, you can do this with our plugin as described here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
What this does NOT mean: these are not all the languages that are supported by machine translation engines like Deepl, Azure, Google Translate. For AUTOMATIC translation, you need to check the following:
1. Which translation engine supports your source:target language pair?
Google Translate: https://cloud.google.com/translate/docs/languages
Deepl Translate: https://developers.deepl.com/docs/getting-started/supported-languages
Azure: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/translator/language-support
2. Is this translation engine supported by WPML? and what will be the cost to translate?
Here is the list that we support: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-change-automatic-translation-engines/
Here is an introduction to automatic translation pricing: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
3. Are you searching for machine language translation where you control what gets translated and when? Or are you looking for immediate automated translation and content publication as soon as new content appears on your site?
For the first option, controlled translations, you may translate from any installed language to another installed language by using the Translation Management Dashboard:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/
The second option, however, is only available when the source language is the site default language. The target language can be any other installed language on your site, but it can only be FROM the site default language. Here is a video displaying this process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5Qhmhp31jk
I hope this information answers your questions.
Could you please help with the support email address?
I don’t have the registered email address to login to the WPML dashboard and raise a new ticket. Due to this, I am unable to contact the technical team at WPML. Please help me here.

Thanks, Warren
Hello Warren,
Thank you for your interest in WPML.
Automatic Translation:
Yes, WPML offers automatic translation.
Browser Language Redirection:
WPML allows you to set up redirection based on the visitor’s browser language, though this feature is disabled by default and not generally recommended. Using a language switcher is usually more effective, especially since your site will begin receiving organic traffic in the appropriate language automatically.
However, if you’d still like to use this feature, you can find more information here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/
Permalink Compatibility:
Unfortunately, WPML is not considered compatible with the Premmerce Permalink Manager plugin. You can find a list of known issues here: https://wpml.org/plugin/premmerce-permalink-manager-for-woocommerce/
Thanks Agnes,
So if you don’t support premmerce permalink manager, what do you suggest to resolve this issue?
There are some workarounds available for the known issues:

I’m not sure why you’re using this plugin, but if it’s for SEO purposes, you might consider alternatives like RankMath or Yoast.
You can purchase WPML and test it on a copy of your site. If you encounter any critical issues, you can take advantage of our 30-day refund policy.
Hello
If you need 24/7 availability, I would recommend that you use a staging site to do your translations with WPML. When you have completed the translations on the staging site, you could then plan for a “switchover” moment when the gTranslate site is taken “offline” and replaced with the WordPress files from the staging site that uses WPML.
This is something your webmaster or hosting support can help you do.
You asked : “Please also advice which subscription will be best, considering we only use 1 website and 2 languages total.
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/

I am trying to make a payment through Paypal but for some reasons i am having issues with them. I have written to them but it will apparently take a couple of days to get resolved as they would be making deposits to my account for verification. And i need your plugin urgently. Is there any alternative payment method for India?
