Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page built in Elementor on my website hidden link. The theme I am using is supposedly fully supported by WPML according to its ThemeForest details (hidden link).
Symptoms:
When I use the Advanced Translation Editor, I can only see the header name and page title for translation. Other content that is displayed in the word count is not shown.
Questions:
Why can I only translate page titles and not the content inside?
How can I make all content visible in the Advanced Translation Editor?
Update: Currently the page is returning Error 500. Background is i tried to remove pages which i started to translate, by switching to the language and trashing them. After that everything broke and when i restored and republished the translated pages there is internal error 500.
Is there a way i can revert everything? It seems like Elementor editor is also affected by that because page loads some default content and not the one from Elementor.
I tried disabling wpml plugin, and it partiall restores the "look" of the header, but there is still error 500 on subpages and the homepage shows default "Blog" instead of all the Elementor which should be there. If i try to edit the page with Elementor it again returns Error 500.

Hi,
It appears that the *Gurus* theme is not officially listed as compatible with WPML in our directory. This doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but rather that it hasn't been tested or certified by our compatibility team. The theme developers may be working on compatibility independently. If you’d like, you can encourage them to join our https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/ or assist in creating the necessary XML configuration files.
In the meantime, since the theme uses custom Elementor widgets, you’ll likely need to manually register them for translation. You can follow this guide to do so:
When doing this, please ensure that you exclude any fields that should not be translated—such as configuration settings or boolean values—as making these translatable can cause issues or even break the site for end users.
Regarding the 500 error, I noticed that the issue occurs even on default pages such as: hidden link
Here are a few things to try:
- Is the site accessible again after resaving the permalink settings in WordPress?
- Does the 500 error still appear if WPML is disabled?
- Does it only affect translated pages, while the default language pages work?
- Is the site accessible again after resaving the permalink settings in WordPress?
Partially. The frontpage is still not working, all of the subpages are now shown, but in most of them the header and footer is broken showing default content, also the navigation menu is in wrong style.
- Does the 500 error still appear if WPML is disabled?
It did appear, but it is fixed now.
- Does it only affect translated pages, while the default language pages work?
It affects all the pages.
