It is not possible to generate that same error if String Translation 3.2.3 is correctly installed (the code has changed and the error describes code that doesn't exist in 3.2.3).
I suggest you go to your plugins page, deactivate String Translation and delete it (you won't lose any data, it just deletes the plugin files).
Then get the zip file of String Translation 3.2.3 from the downloads page (https://wpml.org/account/downloads/), and manually upload it on the Add New plugins page.
@alexandrosk-5 there is a new WPML update available today, there is no new update available (or necessary) for String Translation.
WPML updates are typically rolled out gradually so that we can catch any issues with the new releases before they affect all clients. Today's release is already available to 100% of sites. When updates are only partially available, you can skip the wait by using the Check for Updates button.
Fortunately I got this right on all my other 16 websites. I wonder why the plugin didn't show updates from the plugin list.
I just deactivated the plugin on CPanel as I couldn't even access Admin. then I clicked on "Check Update" and then it would show on the plugin list.
All good now, thanks for the support!

PS: I find it quite annoying that now I have to go every day on the Plugins/Add New/ Check for updates when before 6.1 the "Installed plugins" pages or the Dashboard/updates would show when updates are available ?!?!?! Not very user friendly!
Yesterday I had the same problem, I updated the WPML plugins and the site came up and running again. Today everything broke down again. Every post gives error 404. What to do_
@helenv-4 I'm sorry your having these problems. It seems to be something particular to your site, could you please open a new support thread so someone can take a look into the specifics of the issues.
@martinj-27 there seems to be something wrong with your String Translation installation, because the error you describe cannot occur with version 3.2.3 of String Translation correctly installed, the code reported in the error message doesn't exist.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but can you please delete the current installation of String Translation from your site and try again to manually install it by downloading (again) the zip file of String Translation from your account download page and uploading that on the Add New plugins page.
Nigel, thank you. I followed your instruction and the site seems like well. But when I switch the page from English to other language, the same error again
@crystall-6 if you updated to the current plugin versions then it sounds like you are now experiencing a different problem (the original error before updating would occur on any page/language).
Could you please open a new support thread so someone can give individual attention to your site?
Hi, i run subsites with WPML.
My site was automatically upgraded to WordPress 6.1. The front-end wasn’t accessible but i can get in to the Admin area.
I have deactivated WPML. I'm trying to upgrade to the new version.
I went to the Plugin > Add New , but can't find Commercial tab. I can't also find an easy button to upgrade.
So, I've downloaded "otgs-installer-plugin.3.0.4.zip" from my WPML account and have installed it. Please advise what to do now?
