Problem: The client needs to update an older version of WPML (Version 4.3.3) to be compatible with PHP 8 while maintaining all content and structure. The WPML plugins are currently deactivated to run the site under PHP 8. Solution: We recommend updating WPML gradually, starting from version 4.3.3 to 4.4.4, then to 4.5.5, and so on. Before attempting to update, create a full website backup. Then, you can try updating directly to the latest version of WPML after updating to PHP 8. Ideally, you should have updated WPML before updating PHP, but you can still follow these steps to proceed.
