WPML doesn’t support importing translations from CSV, but you may be able to do something with WP All Import or WP Ultimate CSV Importer (both compatible plugins).
I don’ t want any automatic translation of the webpage.
I a little disappointed sonce eben on wpml.org I could switch with a right mouse click to a translated text by google translate, loosing all the translations setup in wpml.

Hi Patrick,
This is something completely different.
WPML lets you build a multilingual website with proper translations and several features more.
The right-click of a mouse is not a function of a website itself but of Google Chrome
You are welcome to try WPML and see how it works. If it doesn’t suit your needs we will refund you, you have up to 30 days https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/
I don’t get it. using your link from your email I get redirected to an unrelated post.

I’m looking at your plugin for a web project I’m working on. The site will be bilingual. Now it is very important that when a blog is shared from this site, for example on Instagram, that the people who click on the link see the blog in the correct language. So what I would prefer is that one link of the blog is shared and when a person clicks on it with an English browser, it comes to the English version of the blog while when someone clicks with a Dutch browser, the Dutch version of the blog is displayed. Is this possible with your plugin?
I hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks in advance for the response.
Hello Patrick,
once you are on a specific page of a site, you can do translate the site using Google translator and the Chrome browser. You can do on any site, doesn’t matter if it uses WPML or not.
But the goal is to make the site available in different languages in search engines such as Google – when a user types in his/her query in his own language, they will get a link to the page in their languages. To make that happen you need a plugin such as WPML to translate the site page permanently so that Google can index the site (add to its index).
Thank you for your quick response, I really appreciate it!
But given your answer I’m not sure if we mean the same thing.
Example: we have a blog post in Dutch and English. I understand that these are two posts; one in Dutch, one in English. So far it’s all clear to me.
But I assume the slug of both post are different, right?
What my customer would like is that they only have to post one link of the message on Instagram which leads to the Dutch or English message, depending on the browser settings. So basically that the link to the message in Dutch is the same as the one in English and, after someone clicks on the link, WPML checks which of the two messages is shown, depending on the browser settings.
I hope I explained it clearly enough.
If not, please let me know!
Thanks again for your quick response, I look forward to hearing from you again!
Hello Andrew,
I am afraid we cannot do this. You can pay for the renewal now if you prefer it. Log in to your account and you will see the option to do it from your subscription page.
Let me know?
Dear all,
this is the scenario:
WP network installation wit Woocommerce
Main website:
My-website.com in english language
Secondary websites (aliases):
My-website.de in german language
My-website.fr in french language
Can WPML handle the aliases and the network websites?
Thanks for your answer
Silvano
Hello,
automatic translations won’t be applied automatically (without you taking an explicit action). You decide which pages to translate. If you start translating a page, WPML will offer you automatic translation per page, you are welcome to apply this option or not. This video will help you understand how it works: https://youtu.be/TmmyU6MtXY8?t=44
Hello, thank you for your interest in WPML.
>Does it sync stock, prices, etc across the languages?
Yes, it does.
>Can it copy a product in language A to a product language B, so the only we will have to do it will be to change the description?
Yes, you can use the Duplicate option and soon after mark this product to be translated independently.
Thank you for providing both email addresses. Indeed there is something not correct because I can see your order completed for the wrong email but there are no subscriptions assigned to your user with the correct email. I’ve asked our admins to check your case and fix it. I’ll keep you posted.
Hello Timy,
there is no free version of WPML, but yes, registering your site (entering the key) should help. Please note that you also need to have this site added to your WPML account (where you generate the keys).
Yes, it is possible but how it works now, you need to pick the pages you want to be translated and “send” them to our Advanced Translation Editor where you can apply machine translations (and change them later). In WPML 4.5 (which is coming soon, 1.5-2 months) you will have an option to translate the whole site automatically (in one click) and then review the translations and making edits to translation when needed.
When in pricing comparison I’ve noticed this “Account renewal per year”. Is this mean that I need to renew account each year in order to have functional plugin or is this mean that I won’t have support and free updates if I do not renew it each year?
An active subscription is required only for updates and our support help so renewals are optional. But you need to cancel your subscription manually (you can do it in a few clicks from within your WPML account anytime). We will also send you two reminders at the end of the first year of your subscription.
Hello,
sorry to hear that you are having issues with WPML. WPML is a big and powerful set of plugins and we have a large team of testers, including programmers. We do both automated and manual testing but of course, bugs happen. Could you please share your tickets with detailed bug descriptions? Maybe the issues you are experiencing have to do with your setup and other plugins you use on your site.
Hi,
Is it possible to translate my website alle in once, and also change a few words custom? Because sometimes the translation is not right?
And is there no limit to the translations, and the translation words?
I have a client that has about 1,000,000 words on their site. If we buy enough credits to cover this amount, do they need to pay this much every month?
Hi,
Is it possible to automatically translate woocommerce products?
Thanks
NM
Products work just like posts or pages. You can automatically translate each product individually or in batches:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatically-translating-multiple-translation-jobs-in-bulk/
Why my post was deleted?
Are you doing the same thing like RankMath do keeping their forum centralized not allowing people to ask some questions?
Then will not buy WPML. U just lost client. Thanks.

what do I need wpml for if google translate delivers all translations?
They are completely different things.
You can see how WPML works and what is does here https://wpml.org/.
2000 credits between any language pair every month
what does this mean exactly? is this pages, words?
Hi David,
Please check this article https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#how-wpml-calculates-payments

Hello,
yes, this is possible with WPML because WPML creates a new post when translating an existing post to a new language.
please explain in one setence the difference

Hi Armand,
ah, now it’s clear. In WPML you can set redirections based on the default language set in the user’s browser. But redirections are tricky, please read this post before you decided to use it: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/
Can you give a lifetime option of “Multilingual Blog” with higher price for me?
If possible, I want to pay once.
Annual payment burdens.

Hello Silvano,
thank you for your interest in WPML.
WPML allows you to set different languages for different domains but additional configuration is required on your server, please check this doc:

Purchased but email is wrong
How can you modify the email?
Hello,
I can see your email is correct (the same one you used for posting this comment). Please let me know if you still need help.
Do I have to renew the plug-in ever year or it is a perpetual license?
Hello, you need to renew only if you want to have access to updates and our support help.
I entered a question regarding woo commerce capabilities, once I posted it I saw my question, but now it has been disappeared.
Hello, your comment was awaiting moderation. I have just replied.
Signed in Mail and the purchase process was registered
wrong mail
correct mail
In the end was purchased and I could not download the tool and download programs

I would like to try the free version first
If later I want to upgrade to the CMS version, how to do so?
will I need to uninstall the free version first, and then down the CMS version from somewhere before I can install the CMS version?
or
Simply enter the license key in the free version?
Thanks!
Timy

We have limits of free credits:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/
Yes, you can make edits to the machine translations where needed.
I have a lot off words on my website, and want to translate them all. Is it possible to pay one fee, and not an extra per word?
For now, it’s not. But you will have more options when WPML 4.5 is out.
Hi,

Hi Benjamin,
No, this is a one-time payment. You will only get charged again if you send new content to translate.
