Hi,
I had been hoping to buy a lifetime plan earlier this year, and it looks like I’ve just missed my opportunity. Are there any plans to offer a lifetime plan again in the future (even as a holiday promotion)?
Hello Liad,
Thanks for your interest. I am afraid we have stopped selling new lifetime subscriptions. You can now buy a yearly subscription with automatic renewals.
Please let me know if you have any further question.
Hello Mauricio,
I have sent a password reset link. Please make sure to check your spam folder as well and confirm. After logging in you will find the files to download here https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
hi,
I have a multilingual web page. but when send my customer E-mail,
I just can send them as a English.
By using WPML, can i send E-mail by multilingual?
Hello Hannah,
it depends on which specific plugin (theme) we are talking about and whether it’s compatible with WPML.
If a plugin that sends emails is compatible with WPML, you will be able to translate the email by using WPML. Here’s the list of plugins compatible with WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/
Hello,
what do you mean by “getting translation editor”. And by “i tried but am not able to get it”? Are you our customer already? If so, did you contact our support team? I’d be happy to help more I first I need to make sure I understand your issue.
am unable to enable WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor. i bought multilingual blog from u. do i need to buy multilingual cms to get the advanced translator editor??
You should be able to upgrade to one of these packages for the difference in purchase price. Please log into your WPML account and you will see the options.
I have one website in English with about 95 pages, and I would like to add 3 more Languages – Chinese, Japanese & German.
But I do not have content in those 3 languages, I just have English content ready.
So will “Advanced Translation Editor” will help me to get the content in other 3 languages? and will it be accurate in terms of grammar and sentence formation as per the native speakers?
If yes, can you please guide me how should I get it?
Hello Jatin,
you will need to approve manually the translation suggested by the advanced editor. Machine translations are becoming better and better but they cannot be compared to translations made by a human. You can give it a try since our refund policy allows you to test WPML for 30 days. In this post you will learn more about the advanced translation editor: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
I found that there is a renwal cost in the purchase, it is a must to pay for the renewal cost? As we will pay 1st time payment for our client, but we will not be responsible for the renewal. What should we do in this case?
Hello,
renewals are optional. After buying WPML simply press “cancel” in your WPML account and you will be getting new updates (and support help) only for the first year.
Hi,
Yes, you can cancel the subscription at any time. You just need to go to your WPML account and press Cancel. Even if you do so, you will still receive your updates (and be able to use our forum) for the whole first year (for which you have paid).
Currently I am running the q-translate plugin on my website, but I am thinking about switching to the WPML plugin. Is it easy to switch from the q-translate plugin to WPML without risk of losing translated content? And more importantly, how can I do this?
I do have a lot custom fields in my website. I was willing to use WPML for multi-language site. I need Tagalog as my second language. Is that possible with your plugin. And if we purchase this, do all custom fields are translated or need to enter datas regarding the language.
Hello Saina,
you can translate custom fields by using WPML but you will need to do it manually. WPML doesn’t translate your content automatically. Tagalog is not included in the list of default languages and you will need to add it manually: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
Hello, I use the extra theme from elegantthemes with Divi builder. For the moment I am using polylang as my multilianguage plugin but I can’t translate extra theme layouts I created with the category builder. For example, I built my homepage with the categorybuilder but there is no way to make the same homepage in English. Do you know if this is possible with wpml, because when it is I would purchase it, but only if possible. Is there a way to test the plugin?
Hello,
I am wondering how your plugin might work in a case of the same language but using a TLD (.com) and a ccTLD (.co.uk or similar). Both sites would be English but each would have its own URL. The content on each would be exactly the same and href would be specified in the header. Would the WPML plugin allow something like this – i.e. one install or WP and woocommerce but two URL’s
Do you have a trial period to use the WPML. Currently, what we are trying to do with our website is the e-commerce section products will only be available to a specific language, however, it can be done by the free plugins. Does the WPML accommodate that issue?
I am the author of a plugin that pushes and pulls data from a CRM in to WordPress as a custom post type. I have a new customer enquiry for a multilingual version of this, instead of just pulling the title and description in English, their CRM will contain
English Title
French Title
Spanish Title
English Description
French Description
Spanish Description
I will need to modify my plugin to be WPML compatible, I understand WPML creates separate posts for each language variant. How do each link together so that I can update my scripts to also create the custom post type posts for each language?
So instead of
find new item in CRM, create a post in wordpress and import title and description
next
I need to
find new item in CRM, create a post in English in wordpress and import title and description
now create the same post in French
now create the same post in Spanish
link them together so that they work with WPML
next
The project is at quote stage, can you provide some info in how WPML creates posts and links them together so that I can accurately quote for the project?
Posts in different languages are connected through the wp_icl_translations table. Each group of connected posts has a unique “trid” (translation id). There is a much better explanation over here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-tables/
Does the plugin support Multisite, and does each Multisite plan have the ability to have different languages? For example: Site 1 can have English and Spanish, Site 2 has English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Site 3 has French, German and Italian. Is this possible? If so, which level should I purchase?
With the Multilingual CMS package, are we limited to 3 sites on the multisite installation, or can we create as many as we need? We will have many more than 3.
Hello, for WordPress Multisite you need to register only the main url and all other subsites will get registered automatically, so the Multilingual CMS package will suffice.
Hi there, is it possible to use the WPML Multilingual Blog plugin first on a staging website before importing all changes into the live website? Or is that essentially using the plugin on two websites and therefore I need to purchase the WPML Multilingual plugin twice?
Hello Esther,
thanks for your interest. You are welcmoe to use WPML on your development site first without registering it, and when you are ready use it and register the live site. The subscription key is used to receive automatic updates.
Hi! i just bought the multilingual cms for woocommerce. Now wordpress says I also need WPML, WPML Translation Management and WPML String Translation. Do I have to buy those separately?
Where did you buy “Multilingual CMS for WooCommerce”? The only place to buy WPML is right here from this site.
All you need for a multilingual WordPress site with WooCommerce is our “Multilingual CMS” package. You can get it from here: https://wpml.org/purchase/
If you bought WPML from a different site (not wpml.org), then it’s not us and it’s not authorized to sell WPML. In that case, the best is to get a refund for the “other” order.
Hi there
We have a big website we want to translate this site to Turkish language default language is English
So we want to translate in less time
So me and my time (3 person)
Want to translate together in the same time
Is this ganna make problem in translation process or with plugin
We will not translate same things
One will translate plugins
The other one will translate theme
One will translate framework and other staff
WPML will allow you to work with a team of translators. You can assign content in different languages to each translator or even content in the same language to all translators.
WPML allows you to translate your content. It’s not intended for automatic translation of the entire site. We have a translation editor that allows you to start with machine translation (automatic translation), but the idea is that a human will review the translations. Very often, machine translation is not accurate enough to appear as your official content on your website.

Yes, you do. Either the Multilingual CMS or the Multilingual Agency as explained here:

Hi,
I would like to ask a question about your subscription plan.
Namely, can I cancel the subscription at any time?
I Understand that, in doing so, I will not be able to use my licence keys, but even so, am i still able to cancel my subscription at any time?
Hi,
Yes, you can cancel the subscription at any time. You just need to go to your WPML account and press Cancel. Even if you do so, you will still receive your updates (and be able to use our forum) for the whole first year (for which you have paid).
Hi
I like to buy the plugin for multi currency and multi language purpose

Waiting for your best answer

Hello,
WPML doesn’t provide any GEO location feature. Please read more about other options here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/geolocation-for-currencies/#post-1422996

Hello.
I need to submit a technical support ticket but it is asking m to bu WPML first. I already bought.
https://prnt.sc/kgc6mc
Please help.
Thanks.
Hello Tony,
You need to be logged in to your account in order to open a ticket at the forum. Please make sure you are.
Let me know?
May I know the impact if I do not proceed the renewal?
Hello, absolutely. You will lose access to future versions of WPML plugins and our support help. The plugins you have installed will continue working.
Can I remove my credit card info. in my account?
If your intention is to make sure you won’t be charged in the future, you simply need to click “Cancel” in your WPML account.

Tagalog is not included in the list of default languages and you will need to add it manually:
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/
Can Philippine language be added. Or the post be automatically translated to Philippine when added. Or we have to do it manually for all languages
You need to do it manually for all languages. Another option is to use the new advanced translation editor, you can learn more about it here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/

Hello Jochen,
you mean, your created your layouts using the Divi page builder? If so, yes, WPML will help. Please learn more here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/divi-builder/
Our refund policy allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk.
We also have a plugin that will allow you to migrate from Polylang to WPML:
https://wpml.org/2016/06/polylang-wpml-importer/
It’s support in hindi website.
Hello,
if you ask if WPML supports Hindi, the answer is yes. If you ask if we provide support in Hindi, the answer is no.
Hello,

Hello Keith,
Thank you for your interest in WPML. WPML can be set up to be used with different domains, as explained here: https://wpml.org/2016/04/use-wpml-different-domains-per-language/ but each for a separate language. You can edit the language table, as explained here: to add different versions of English (en-GB, en-AU, etc) https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/ You say that the content would be exactly the same so I’m a little bit confused whether it makes sense to use WPML.
can we use your plugin to manage our multilingual site, export files to a preferred translator, and import them back in?
Hello, yes, you can.
You can use the XLIFF features https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-desktop-cat-tools/configuring-xliff-file-options/ or the WPML All Import plugin. https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/
Hi,
Do you have a trial period to use the WPML. Currently, what we are trying to do with our website is the e-commerce section products will only be available to a specific language, however, it can be done by the free plugins. Does the WPML accommodate that issue?
Dear Jobelle,
Thanks for your interest. I am afraid we do not offer free trials of WPML. You are welcome to try our plugin and if it does not suit your needs we will refund you. You have until 30 days to do it https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/.
We have a bridge plugin WooCommerce Multilingual which will allow you to manage your products per language. More info here https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#taxonomies

Posts in different languages are connected through the wp_icl_translations table. Each group of connected posts has a unique “trid” (translation id). There is a much better explanation over here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-tables/
But I have to strongly advise you against manipulating the tables directly. We have a set of actions & filters to do everything you need: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/wpml-hooks-reference/
You would basically have to create the english, french and spanish posts as usual and then to connect them together:
– get the ‘trid’ of the original post (ie: the english one) with https://wpml.org/wpml-hook/wpml_element_language_details/
– connect the french post, using this trid with https://wpml.org/wpml-hook/wpml_set_element_language_details/
– do the same for the spanish post
There are code examples in each link that will help you trough.
Thank you, that is very helpful

Yes, WPML works fine on Multisite installations. Each of the sites on the network can have its own languages.
You should get the Multilingual CMS package, which will include everything that you need.
https://wpml.org/purchase/
Hi again,

Where did you buy “Multilingual CMS for WooCommerce”? The only place to buy WPML is right here from this site.
All you need for a multilingual WordPress site with WooCommerce is our “Multilingual CMS” package. You can get it from here:
https://wpml.org/purchase/
This includes all the necessary components of WPML. The tutorial for how to use it is here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/
If you bought WPML from a different site (not wpml.org), then it’s not us and it’s not authorized to sell WPML. In that case, the best is to get a refund for the “other” order.

WPML will allow you to work with a team of translators. You can assign content in different languages to each translator or even content in the same language to all translators.
After you install WPML (of course, after you buy it), you should use our Translation Management module. It will allow you to set-up “translator” users and send content to them. See the documentation for the Translation Dashboard here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-to-send-content-for-translation/
To translate the texts in the theme and plugins, you will use the String Translation module:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/
For your workflow, you need the complete Multilingual CMS package.
https://wpml.org/purchase/
Does this help?
is any plugin launched for automatic translator like other plugin or any widget which can convert any pages to other language automatically?
WPML allows you to translate your content. It’s not intended for automatic translation of the entire site. We have a translation editor that allows you to start with machine translation (automatic translation), but the idea is that a human will review the translations. Very often, machine translation is not accurate enough to appear as your official content on your website.
Which one that plugin? which help us to create contents in nmachine translation and what is the procedure to translate. thanks in advance.
Machine translation is a feature of WPML’s Advanced Translation Editor:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
You can access it from our Translation Management module.
