Thank you for the response, but there is no specific information in that area that explains if WPML works with ACF Pro ‘OPTIONS PAGES’. It only makes reference to the repeater function.

I use Avada theme, i read your WPML supports any theme using “WordPress API”.
Do Avada do that?
Can WPML translate inside Avada Elements? (much like Gutenbergs inside-the-box elements.)

I am sorry but i dont know if my question got across, if you could let WPML translate a little bit of danish into english, as i am not sure how it translates the special danish characters.

1. If it your WordPress Multisite, then yes, you need to register only the main domain and WPML will be available for all subsites. If these are separate WP installs, then you need to register each one separately
2. Exactly. Even if your subscription expires, you can still use the plugins that you downloaded and/or installed but you will lose access to updates and our support help.
Hi, I have genesis framework and using genesis child theme. I need to have my web site in two languages. I used Polylang – but there is a problem with front page which is made by widgets…Polylang does not work well so I am considering to buy WPML. Can WPML handle this? To have two different homepages? Cause now with polylang when I set up that this widget is active only in language 1 and not language 2, the theme is “working”with that area like it is active and I have a blank space there. So I need to know, if I purchase, I will avoid something like this. It is simple site with 5 pages without woocommerce…is the basic version of WPML sufficient?

So I cannot reassure you that your specific widget will work with WPML but you can test it yourself. Our refund policy allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk and you can ask technical questions in our support forum during the trial.

I’m stuck on the duplicator files… unable to do after many trial, I’ve even installed the trial beta to use an advanced feature but still cannot get the requested duplicator file.
How is possible that to require assistance we need to fill up so many data? All login information for both ftp site and wp login, full website backup and more?
Afterall in this case I’m trying to contact the support because I got this message:

Yes, please select “Something is not doing what I expected” when starting the ticket and you ill be able to start the ticket skipping all these steps.
The assigned supporter will then guide you as to what they need.
That’s makes sense. But is not what happened…
I selected “Something is not doing what I expected” but still ask me a lot of data, ftp settings, wp login data, even to send a full duplicate zip file of my site… and that is ok if you want to disencourage users to use support, but not if contact support is required from your own plugin…
At the end i solved loading a fake zip file, but this is not the way i like to work.
And the received support was: “this is a know issue, just ignore it”. Was not less time consuming write this in the fist message from the system?
I hope your plugin is so good that I’ll not need support anymore, because afterall you’re selling the support with the plugin licence and this is nothing worth a penny till now. (not your pre-sale support, of course, I’m speaking about the request to contact support for nothing other than a known issue to ignore, and the crazy long to fill in requirement to post a ticket)

I created a child theme but it will be working on a spanish speaking environment so I need the plugin to translate, or have access to translate EVERYTHING, including the theme customisation and back end fields.
Please respond asap if you will as we need to make this decision quickly.

do you (1) need your site to be in two (or more languages) or (2) you only need to translate everything to Spanish? If 1., using WPML makes sense. If 2, you don’t need WPML (you can use the Loco Translate plugin or translate the strings using the Poedit software and use po/mo files)
If you need WPML, WPML will help you to create pages, post in other languages and translate everything else. The authors of this theme declare that the theme is compatible with WPML but I looked at our records and this theme hasn’t been tested with WPML so I’m not sure that everything will be translatable. You can buy WPML and test it yourself and use our refund policy in case of problems.

I have a question concerning the unlimited licenses and the “3 licenses” account types;
so basically it is mentioned that the account will automatically renew every year, but we can still disable this option, and eventually we will lose the updates, but for example if we choose the Multilingual CMS (3 licenses) or Multilingual Agency (unlimited licenses) account types and we disable the renewal and still didn’t exceed the 3 licenses (or 3 websites) for the Multilingual CMS account type, will we still be able to use them without renewing the plugin? And in the case of unlimited licenses, do we get unlimited licenses even after disabling the auto update?

Thanks for writing about this. The short answer is no. You need an active subscription in order to receive updates, so even if you haven’t “used” the 3 sites allowance (for CMS) you will not be able to register your site. The subscription key is used to receive updates automatically.
Note you can keep using WPML if it has already been installed, after the subscription has expired.

If the year ended and we didn’t renew subscription, and we still didn’t exceed the 3 sites limit, can we still install WPML plugin on a new site (without receiving updates or support)?
You will be able to install WPML on another site, but you will not be able to register that site. This means that you will still see the message on WPML admin that it’s not registered. Anyway, you will not receive automatic updates if your account has expired (doesn’t matter if the site is registered or not).
1) So if we bought a CMS license, and used it on 1 site only, then the year ended without renewal, can’t we use the same plugin version for another site or two?
2) CMS license covers 3 websites, that means 3 separate installations (could be on different servers) and each one could have child sites, right?
About your second question, you only need to register WPML once for each site. If a site has different languages in domains, you only need to register WPML once. If it’s a network site and you’ve installed WPML on the root site, you don’t need to register it for child sites.
I have a question concerning the WPML compatibility with a plugin. I use the Learnpress plugin for student courses on my client’s website. I need to know if WPML is compatible with Learnpress (I didn’t see it on the plugin list) or not ?

WPML affects the speed of websites like any other plugin that you add. The more plugins active in your site, the more time it takes for the server to run pages. Each plugin adds more code that the server needs to run.
Storefront is a very efficient theme and runs well with WPML. The impact to speed should not be very significant. There are themes that make a very large number of database calls (not Storefront). With such themes and WPML, the site will be significantly slower.
I have purchased a subscription in August, 2018 and it still shows expired.

Hello, in general, WPML allows you to translate widgets. But in some cases, there are issues with widgets, all explained here:

I have a question concerning the WPML compatibility with a plugin. I use the Learnpress plugin for student courses on my client’s website. I need to know if WPML is compatible with Learnpress (I didn’t see it on the plugin list) or not ?

I wanted to hear, if it’s possible to make a different product and assign it to one language only. We only sell not physical products, and want to change the language inside of these PDF.
Example:
On our english website we sell a product with english text
We want to have a spanish site, where we can sell our product (PDF) with spanish text.

Yes, you can do this with WPML. You can edit separately the translations of each language and offer different PDF downloads.

Hw does WPML affect the speed of the website? I have a shop in woocommerce (storefront)and I’m afraid that WPML will tremendously affect the speed of the website. Will the number of languages that I’d like to implement also affect the speed of the website ?
WPML affects the speed of websites like any other plugin that you add. The more plugins active in your site, the more time it takes for the server to run pages. Each plugin adds more code that the server needs to run.
Storefront is a very efficient theme and runs well with WPML. The impact to speed should not be very significant. There are themes that make a very large number of database calls (not Storefront). With such themes and WPML, the site will be significantly slower.
I have purchased a subscription in August, 2018 and it still shows expired.

WPML itself doesn’t translate automatically but for machine translation, we have a new Advanced Translation Editor integrated, which uses the Azure’s MT engine. You can read more about how it works in this blog post:

Not necessary anymore. Just found out that it’s not possible to change your username at all, even though you sign up with a different e-mail address. Could you please delete the account with username tessv-2 instead?
