  1. Hi Allison! Thank you for the very quick answer; in the production site I installled the paid version of WP Booking calendar: Version9.Personal.SingleSite.8.9. Is it ok to install WPML Multilingual CMS?
    Thank You again
    Bruno

  2. Hi there,

I’m really excited that you now have an automatic translation feature.
However, do you have the ability to publish/transfer those translations to top-level domains.
    For example:

    domain.es – Spanish
    domain.pt- Portuguese
    and etc.

Because the solution of domain.com/es/ domain.com/pt/ — doesn’t really work for me.

If you have that feature — I will gladly buy WPML today.
    Thanks!

Thank you for your time; I look forward to working with you.

    • Hello,
Thank you for your offer. You need to be a WPML user to write about WPML. We also provide an affiliate program for bloggers who write about WPML.

  4. I am desperate, I need help.
I have bought a wpml license, your system has failed, you have charged me but I still don’t have the license activated and as I am not a customer I have no right to contact you to tell you about it and get the problem fixed. It is a tremendous helplessness. My client is very angry and although I am going to file a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, I guess it will take a long time to be resolved.
On the other hand, I am going to create a website so that more cases like mine can express themselves. You can’t steal people’s money.
Sorry, I was a fan of your plugin.
In case you have doubts about what I say, you only have to check the invoice 9858671, you will see that I paid on October 25, 2021 and then you can check in my account how indeed it appears that I have not paid. It is absurd.

  5. are these possible with wpml?

    1. We have courses every Wednesday at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm for 4 students max. Once 4 student max, the course is closed and they have to choose next week. Create a page where new visitors can go to a page fill out their name, email and choose their schedule. An automatic email confirmation will be sent to them once the schedule is confirmed.

    2. Create a new course titled “ABC Test”. This course is every Thursday at 5pm. Add 2 users into the course. An email reminder is automatically send to the 2 users 1 day and 5 minutes before the course starts.

    • Hello Jayson,
WPML is a plugin that allows you to translate your existing site to other languages (or make your site available in other languages) and doesn’t do anything else, which means that you need to build the course functionality using course-dedicated plugins and then use WPML to translate your content. Please check the list of plugins compatible with WPML: https://wpml.org/plugin/

  6. I want to buy the Multilingual CMS plan and I don’t have paypal account.
Do you have another payment method because I don’t want to create paypal account.

    Thanks

  7. If i buy plan with 99 dollar and i translated my website. Are i pay for one year and after that i can not use plugin for any new content ?
As i saw you type that i can not register or re register any website after ending of one year or not ?

  8. Hello,

I will not need more updates of WPML on my website, I simply want to leave the pluginas it is now.

How can I stop WPML from charging me the annual fee?

    Kind regards
    David.

    • Hello David, yes, you can. The WPML subscription can be canceled at any time from your WPML account and you can keep using WPML plugins but without access to updates.

  9. Hi, we are creating a small online Bilingual store with Nicepage/ WP and Woocommerce. Can WPML translate the footer of the website?

    Thanks.
    Georgi

  10. Hello mercedes,

    Thanks for your help.

    When you say :
If you don’t pay for the renewal fee you will lose updates and support. You will not be able to translate new content but you will keep the existing translations on your site.
    More info here https://wpml.org/home/terms-and-conditions/

I cannot find in terms and conditions the information relative to will not be able to translate new content

Are you sure about this information? This means that if I want to use WPML pro plugin for 1 website, I need to renew the license every year so that I can add new translation (manually) every time I add a post.

This seams really strange and cost effective.

Please, someone else to confirm this statement as my client is asking for price cost of such a solution ?

    Thanks a lot.

    • Hello Thomas,
Yes, the previous answer you got wasn’t precise enough. It should have said: “You will not be able to automatically translate new content but you will keep the existing translations on your site.” You can always add your content manually and translate it manually. You need an active WPML subscription (with enough translation credits) to use machine translations.

    • Hello,
I’m not sure I understand your question but for each production site, we offer 3 testing sites, which means if you buy the CMS package (3 sites) you will actually get 12 site keys (3 production sites + 9 for test sites).

  11. Hello

If default language is set as English, and translation language is set as Spanish,
    How will Url look like?

    http://www.example.com/en/blog (default)
    http://www.example.com/es/blog (translate)

or default English Url will not contain “en”? I don’t want to have “en” in default English pages.
    http://www.example.com/blog (default)

I saw someone’s blog using WPML in English and Spanish.
In both languages, url contain en or es.

“en” in default language can be omitted?

    • Hello,
yes, by default the default language is not present in your site’s URL but for those who would like to keep it, WPML has an option to enable it.
      So here’s the default:
      Case 1
      – Default language: English yourdomain.com/blog
      – Secondary language: Spanish yourdomain/es/blog

      Case 2
      – Default language: Spanish yourdomain.com/blog
      – Secondary language: English yourdomain/en/blog

      Hope it helps.

  12. Actually my website base on advertisement user come and post there ads in different categories.. support language is English…I want to add 2 more language linke Hindi & Marathi…if someone user post ads in hindi language (little, discription & info)…Is automatically translate for English user and same as Marathi language users??

    • Hello,
I assume your site is using a special plugin to allow your users to add ads, is this correct? Pure WordPress doesn’t have this functionality. Or maybe your site uses a special theme. Anyway, first you would need to check if this plugin/theme is compatible with WPML. These two pages can help:
      https://wpml.org/theme/
      https://wpml.org/plugin/
WPML allows you to translate your content manually and automatically but please note that machine translations are not supported for all languages.
Here’s the list of languages with machine translations:
      https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs

As you can see Hindi is there but Marath isn’t. It means that you will need to add Marathi as a custom language and translate your site to Marathi manually.

  13. BOOKLY.

Hi, I am using Bookly and so far, my web was translated thanks to Polylang which totaly suits my needs. Bookly claims that you can do the dynamic translations (follow up emails that on Polylang don’t work). Is it true? What kind of subscription do I need for this particular issue? Is there any money back guarantee if it is not working? Thank you for your reply.

  14. Hi There,

Currently we are building a new website for a client. I was wondering if it’s possible to export/import out translations from one website to another?

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,
    Daan Lap

  15. Hello,
I want to make my website 3 languages, Turkish, English and Arabic. Can i translate all the areas with WPML? Is WPML supported the required theme plugins? Can i try the plugin before i buy?

    Thanks

    • Hello Maltem,
Yes, you can translate to these languages, all the content of your site.
You can see the list of plugins we tested here https://wpml.org/plugin/. If your plugins are not on the list it means we have not tested it but it should also work.
You can try WPML for 30 days and see how it works for you.
We will issue you a full refund if it doesn’t suit your needs
      https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/

      Kind regards,

  16. Hi, I’ve been waiting for more than 24 hours for an answer on my ticket and nobody answers me, this is not normal, I’d like to know what’s going on, I’ve been a client for over 2 years

  17. Hello Dear,

I can’t see the live demo. Could you please share with me a live demo?
Actually I will use this plugin with WooCommerce and I need to see how its works. I need to set 2 different languages and per language will have different prices. I mean not to change currency. I mean if I will sell in a product 10 USD in English, I will sell it in 25EURO in German. Is it possible?

    • Hello,
yes, WPML works with WooCommerce too and you can set a different currency for English and German. We don’t have a live demo but you can buy WPML and test it on your site (or a copy of your site) keeping our refund policy in mind which allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk. https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/

  18. yes, my theme supported WPML Plugin.
yes needs to add custom language Marathi and translate manually!
    WPML supports the Hindi language!
My question is as par I said my website is an advertisement website and users post ads (details & description)
If they post ads in Hindi and other user have selected english language, then this posted hindi ads convert automatiaclly in english for english users?

And if someone post ads in marathi i this is same for both users? (not converted)

    • Hello,
WPML can translate fully automatically (without anyone’s additional actions) only from your primary language to your “secondary” language but not the other way around.

      Example:
      English – primary language
      Hindi – secondary language

You set the Translate everything > Publish translations without reviewing option in WPML. When a new post or page is added in English it will be automatically translated to Hindi. But if a new page or post is added in Hindi, you (the admin or a translator user) need to take an action: click on the + icon and open the post/page for translation. Then you can use “translate automatically” button to apply machine translations.

I don’t know if ads on your site work the same are regular posts and pages. I think that your case is not an easy one and it would be best if you could test WPML on a copy of your site first to check if it works as you would expect. You will have 30 days to test WPML keeping our refund policy in mind: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/

  19. How does Automatic (machine) translation from Multilingual CMS work? ‘90000 free credits between any language’ how does this count? Dose one word count as one credit or one letter count as one credit? Such as “word”, is this one credit or 4 credits?

    • Hello,
You might need 3 credits to translate 1 word or 2 credits or only 1. It depends on the translation engine you will choose. WPML supports three: Microsoft Azure, Google, DeepL – please check this table: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs

      So again:
Microsoft Azure Translator = 1 credit per word
Google Translate = 2 credits per word
DeepL = 3 credits per word

90000 free credits is the total number of free credits you can use and share between your languages. It’s not per language, it’s for all languages in your site.
You can buy extra credits too.
Please check the pricing on this page:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/

Please note that once your site is translated, your translations are saved in your database and you will need new credits only for sentences that have changed.
