Hi,
I want to purchase the WPML Multilingual CMS package at $99. It says the yearly renewals cost $74.00. Is this on top of $99, or the yearly renewal price is cheaper?
Hello Ryan,
When you first buy your WPML Multilingual CMS license, you will pay $99. Then, at the end of the year, you will pay $74 in order to renew your license for the next period.

Dear team, I am currently using the WPML Multilingual Currency plugin. Could you please guide me on how to deduct customer location from the mobile app? Is there an API available to select the currency?
Hello, We are an digital agency operating in Turkey. For this reason, we are required to be exempt from taxes when we shop from you. I would like you to reflect the prices excluding taxes in our future purchases. Best regards.
Hello Danielle,
you have the Agency type of account. When you renew your WPML account, we refill your translation credit balance up to 120,000. You can read about it in the FAQ at this page: https://wpml.org/purchase/wpml-renewal/
Do you offer discount pricing for nonprofit – 501(c)3 – organizations in The Netherlands? Also, how do I go about getting set up for tax exemption before I make the purchase?
as the multilingual cms was paid from philsgranola i do not want to mix clients and use the same for beta.joannaritsoni.com
so i thought of purchasing the blog version to tranlaste beta.joannaritsoni.com
Hello Filippa,
If you need the String translation module, you will need to purchase the CMS subscription, since the Blog subscription does not inlude this module.
You can register WPML on the development site first and then the production site. More info here https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#register
Hello,
I can see your site uses Elementor. The String Translation plugin is required if you want to translate your Elementor site without the need to manually synchronise the changes in your layouts between your pages in other languages. For example, say you translated your homepage to Spanish. After a while you added a new section with a button to your homepage. If you use the Blog package you need to do the same (add this section and the button) to your Spanish translation. If you use the CMS package, you don’t bother about keeping the layouts in sync, you only translate the texts. If you want, you can try with the Blog package package and if it turns out that you need the String Translation plugin, you can upgrade to the CMS package. In the example I explained you don’t need to visit the String Translation panel but this plugin is needed to keep your Elementor copies in sync between languages.
Hello,
we don’t accept bank transfers I’m sorry. When you buy WPML it’s a subscription (you can cancel it at anytime but it’s a subscription that is being set up when you buy WPML)
Hello,
– do you offer a free trial period?
– is it possible to translate text inside elementor components with the CMS version?
– what type of support does CMS include?
– Will I be able to create an event in a PHP script that is triggered when a user clicks on another language?
Hello there,
1. No, we don’t have a free trial period. Instead, we have a 30 days refund policy.
2. Yes, WPML is compatible with Elementor plugin. https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/
3. You can find in the following link our support policy: https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/
4. You will need custom code in order to achieve what you need as WPML doesn’t provide that functionality.
I hope it helps.
Hello, the Blog type of subscription doesn’t allow you to translate automatically at all. If you need automatic translation for you site, you need to buy the CMS (or Agency) package.
Hi! What des it mean that I can use WPML on 3 production websites and 9 developement? What is the difference?
Currently I want to translate 2 websites but I also have a “playground” website where I want to test the plugin to learn how it works.
Hi, we’re building a website in Latin America, wanting to target multiple countries and do a subfolder for each one. The language will be Spanish on each of them, but we want the hreflang added correctly to each separate folder.
Eg /peru/, /mexico/, /colombia/, etc – all need a separate language-location code, like es-pe, es-mx, es-co.
The content does not need translating and will be slightly different on each folder.
Can WPML designate the correct hreflang to each folder like this?
Hello,
your WPML subscription (the one assigned to the email address you posted this comment with) expired July 3, 2023 because you cancelled it on June 29 2023. I’m not sure what is your question. If you would like to renew WPML you need to log into your WPML account and purchase it again.
Hi I swtiched to pay as you go what am I receiving
“You are using a expired wpml account Extend your subscription” I also paid one time safety payment 100usd.
Hello,
I have replied to your previous comment. Now, when you mentioned paying safety payment $100 – let me comment on this. I can see that your site still uses WPML and automatic translations (from Arabic to English) – if you have something to translate that requires using more credits you will get a warning to approve $100 before you continue. I can see you approved this warning. You are charged independently for your WPML subscription (for the plugin) and for the credits. Since you cancelled your WPML subscription on June 29th, it expired at the end of your payment period which was July 3, 2023 – that’s why you are getting this “You are using a expired wpml account Extend your subscription” message. But since your site still uses WPML and the translation credits you will be receiving invoices for the credits – these are separate. I’m sure what is your question here. Please ask and I will be glad to explain and hep.
Thank you for your question. WPML renewals are optional and WPML plugin will continue working if you don’t renew. But if you don’t renew you won’r be able to update your plugin to new versions and use our support forum. If you update your WordPress site and don’t update WPML you might run into issues. Can you please let me know where exactly you see the message “You are using a expired wpml account Extend your subscription”? Thank you.

Will WPML auto translate with Deepl also work with WP Bakery?
Hello Igor,
yes, WPML works with WP Bakery and you can translate your WP Bakery site automatically too. DeepL is the default translation engine for WPML’s automatic translation. It’s already integrated with DeepL and you don’t need to set up a separate DeepL account. This page covers how to translate WP Bakery with WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/how-to-build-multilingual-sites-with-wpbakery-page-builder-and-wpml/

Hello
is it possible that I translate a domain: example.com to ejempio.com and the other pages as subdomains e.g. de.example.com and it.example.com ?
How much effort does it take? Do you have instructions there?
Thanks very much
Hello,
thank you for your interest in WPML. You cannot mix diffrent domains with subdomains. You can set up WPML to either use diffrent domains for different languages or with subdomains. This page will help with the specifics: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/
Hello,
Kindly could you confirm if I get new credits with the automatic renewal?
Thank you!
Hello Danielle,
you have the Agency type of account. When you renew your WPML account, we refill your translation credit balance up to 120,000. You can read about it in the FAQ at this page: https://wpml.org/purchase/wpml-renewal/
If you would like to get additional 10 000 credits, please schedule a 30-minute feedback call with me: https://calendly.com/wpml-feedback/wpml-feedback-call/?month=2023-07&date=2023-07-04 – I can give you extra 10 000 credits if you share your thoughts about your experience with WPML.
Hi,
Do you offer discount pricing for nonprofit – 501(c)3 – organizations in The Netherlands? Also, how do I go about getting set up for tax exemption before I make the purchase?
With kind regards,

Yes, we do (50%). Please use this form to apply. https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
What is the average time for the integration of this into a WordPress website and what sort of customisation is required please
It depends on the site and how complex it is. Can you share your site with me?
Thank you Agnes Bury, for the fast reply!
as the multilingual cms was paid from philsgranola i do not want to mix clients and use the same for beta.joannaritsoni.com
so i thought of purchasing the blog version to tranlaste beta.joannaritsoni.com
https://snipboard.io/KNB0OE.jpg
but i see it does not offer string translation etc
will this be a problem in translating beta.joannaritsoni.com ??
as beta.joannaritsoni.com is a test site/subdomain is it better to transfer the site to the correct domain betasecurities.com before translating?
Hello Filippa,
If you need the String translation module, you will need to purchase the CMS subscription, since the Blog subscription does not inlude this module.
You can register WPML on the development site first and then the production site. More info here https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#register
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi,
Is it possible to get an invoice for Multilingual CMS subscription?
Yes, you will find your invoice on your wpml.org account in your order history. You can download it from there as a pdf file.
where would i use string translation in this site?
https://beta.joannaritsoni.com/
it is just simple pages
would i use it to translate menus?
what is the benefit of sting translations to a website that is not an eshop/woocommerce?

Hello,
I am considering purchasing a “blog”subscription for a simple website that I want to translate in 1 or 2 languages.
Can you confirm if the automatic “pay as you go” service is compatible with a “blog” subscription or only applicable to CMS and agency plans ?
Thanks
Hello, the Blog type of subscription doesn’t allow you to translate automatically at all. If you need automatic translation for you site, you need to buy the CMS (or Agency) package.
Dear Team,
Can I only choose to translate certain pages/sections of my website? Or do I have to translate the whole website?
Thank you
Hello Tamara,
With WPML, you can choose what content to translate and what not.
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/

Hi Paweł! Development sites will have a banner added to the footer saying it’s a development site.
