The client reported an issue with media translation paths when replacing an image uploaded in the same month as the original. This problem was specific to their setup and involved the Offload Media plugin.
Solution:
We suggested a workaround involving code changes in the Offload Media plugin. Specifically, the client needed to open

.../amazon-s3-and-cloudfront-pro/classes/pro/integrations/wpml.php

and replace the existing setup function with:

We also communicated with the plugin authors to seek a permanent fix. Meanwhile, the client can use this workaround as a temporary solution.

Problem:
You are experiencing issues with the CSS class wp-image-ID not translating properly across different media formats in WPML. Despite translating images and checking their display on a translated page, the images either do not display or lose their CSS class, resulting in broken images.
Solution:
We have resolved this issue in the latest version of WPML (4.9.0). To fix the problem, please update your WPML to version 4.9.0 along with the Strings Translation to 3.5.0, Media Translation to 3.1.0, and WCML to 5.5.4. Follow these steps:
1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin in your site’s admin.
2. Click the Commercial tab.
3. Click the Check for updates button.
4. Select WPML 4.9 from the list and click Install.

1. Object Cache: If your site uses object caching, the warning might be stored there. We recommend clearing the object cache to resolve this issue.
2. Cache Folder: Ensure that the

/wp-content/cache/

folder is writable. This issue can arise if the folder becomes non-writable, especially after site migrations, which prevents proper cache purging.
3. Database Cleanup: Consider manually removing the

wpml_notices

and

icl_admin_messages

entries from your database.
4. Large Taxonomy Sets: If your taxonomy has many terms, it might not be processed completely. We recommend checking the documentation on Translating many taxonomy terms.
