Hi, that’s correct, for 3 production websites. Sites that you register as “development” will have a small banner added to your site’s footer saying that this is a development site. A similar banner will be displayed on your WordPress admin too. We introduced this feature to allow our clients to use WPML on more than 3 websites if they also have staging/testing environments. If you are testing WPML on a copy of your site, feel free to register it as “development” instead of production. With the CMS package, you can register 3 production sites and in addition, 9 sites as development sites. 12 websites in total. You can register and unregister your sites as many times as you want but you cannot get over the limits we have: 3 production sites and 9 development sites at a given time.
Are you from India by any chance? If you are. I’m sorry but currently, it’s not possible to pay by credit card by clients from India. This limitation was caused by some Indian-specific regulations but we can see that this has changed recently and we need to tune our system to be ready again. It will require some development work on our end and it can take some time so now only PayPal is required.
Hello, we are planning to establish a multilingual news site.
Currently, we have an English version, and our plan is to add a Hindi version on the same domain. We intend to publish both manual Hindi posts and English posts.
Does WPML support the manual publishing of separate English and Hindi posts, as shown in the following examples?
Does WPML creates a new page for every page we translate?
That is what we need.
Because on almost every page on our site we have an embedded tool which we also need to translate separately.
So we need for every page a copy in the other language with another version of the embed tool.
Hello Naftalie,
Thanks for your interest. Yes, you can do this with WPML. It will create a new language version for each page or any other translation content. You can translate the embedded tool, too.
Hi. There’s 1 website connected to my account. I chose the transfer payment to client option to pay for my wpml but my account still says it’s expiring tommorow.
Hello, you don’t need to renew your own account if you don’t need it. Only the client needs to keep their renewals active. This is explained on this page: https://wpml.org/purchase/transferring-account-renewals-to-your-clients/ – please check the “What Happens If Your Own Account on WPML.org Expires?” section.
Hi, yes I am from India but the payment is being done from the UK office. The card is also on UK address. Is it possible to make a card payment from UK address?
Yes, if the payment is done from UK, it should work normally. When I check our order I cannot see any order with your email address. If you already followed the steps to switch to the Stripe processor on our checkout page (“Use a different payment method” under the orange Place Order button) and it didn’t help, you need to contact us directly about this matter and let us know what exactly happens when you do so. Are you getting any message? Or you getting any other error? What do you see on your screen. You can also try a different browser or clear your cache. Feel free to use this contact form: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/ to sort this out.
Under the place order button there is no option of different payment method. It only has terms & conditions and Privacy & security hyperlinks. When we click on place order orange button it takes us to the paypal page.
Hello Sayan,
Are you trying to purchase from India? If so, I am afraid you will not see the option to buy with a different payment method.
Please confirm. You can also contact me directly on hello@wpml.org and I will help.
Hello!
I want to buy WPML CMS package for my website. Is it suitable for my website?
How do I install my website ? I couldn’t find WPML CMS in wordpress plugin search.
Best Regards
Hello Kerim,
To buy a CMS subscription you need to go to our Purchase page https://wpml.org/purchase/. It is not available in the repository.
The CMS version allows you to translate complete websites, including your WooCommerce store, plugin builders and access to automatic translation.
I wonder what is the difference between Multilingual Blog The basic option for multilingual WordPress blogs and Multilingual CMS The complete solution for multilingual WordPress?
Hello, I had my account on auto-renewal and didn’t notice that it didn’t work as I recently changed my VISA card due to it expiring. As the auto-renewal therefore didn’t work, I lost my subscription and lower payment option.
Is there a way to fix this? I’d like to have my old subscription active again the way it was via my new card :(!
I am the person in Charge for Buena Onda Coffee Brunch in Tenerife, of Massimiliano Costantino (NIE/VAT: ESZ0883709P) , buenaondaloscristianos@gmail.com
I have 2 big issues in buying your product.
1st: We are in Canarias Island. Spain, but not Spain when talking about taxes.
The Vat/tax number of the “company” is the NIE number of the Owner.
Your system do not recognise it. How can we solve it?
2nd: We don’t have a Paypal account. Could we pay with Bank Transfer?
Thanks very much
Hello,
you can pay by card too. On the “checkout” page you will see a link entitled “Use a different payment processor” (at the bottom of the page, under the orange button). Please click on it. But if you would like us to help you with your VAT issues, we need to fix it manually for you. Please use this form to contact us: https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
Hello. The plugin has disappeared from the downloads section. It turns out that if I didn’t update it (and didn’t use the one I already paid for) you just TAKE the plugin I already paid for? I don’t need an updated one, at least let me download the one I paid you for.
Hello. I chose the source language – Polish – as it was set in WordPress. However, all pages were in English.
The plugin did not translate the pages correctly and charged me credits.
Additionally, my accounting plugin does not support multiple currencies.
I need to install the store separately for each currency.
So I can’t use this plugin.
Can you cancel credits that have not translated my site and I will no longer use this plugin?
Hello Mariusz,
I cannot find your user in our system (I checked the email you used to post this comment with). I will contact you directly via email. Please expect an email from Agnes Bury.
Hello,
I had a few questions. I would appreciate it if you could answer:
1. Can we write our own automatic translation plugin for your plugin? Our company has its own dedicated server for website translation, and we want to use that server. Can our programming team write a plugin for your plugin that works with our server without any issues? To be more specific, does your plugin have the necessary hooks for developing an automatic translation plugin?
2. We saw on your website that we can use your plugin for translation on multiple different domains. For example, German on the .de domain and English on the .com domain. Now my question is, can we have a domain for one language but in different countries? For instance, we have a domain for Austria, which is .at, but the language is still German, but the domain is different.
3. If we have a WordPress site but have 20 different domains for 20 languages, should we purchase the Multilingual Agency package or Multilingual CMS?
Your WPML subscription expired in March, 2021 We provide the discounts only for clients who didn’t miss their renewal date. That’s why you need to pay the full price now. We recommend keeping the automatic renewal option not to forget to renew WPML on time.
I’m sorry I don’t have any specific recommendation to you. Actually you are the first client with such a need. We haven’t built WPML with this purpose in mind (to be easily adjusted to add a new, custom translation engine). I don’t know your reasons of using a custom translation server. Is this about the money you pay for automatic translations? Actually the WPML clients who use automatic translations heavily say it’s worth because it saves so much time. If you want, you can buy WPML (the Multilingual CMS package) to test this out. You will get 90 000 translation credits for free and it’s enough to test WPML on multiple pages. Just make sure you choose “Let me choose what to translate” mode when setting up WPML. You will have the possibility to translate automatically in bulk too.
I’ve just purchased WPML and I’m using it on a multisite setup. Now I have encountered some problems. First it shows me this in the wordpress dashboard:
Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Whip_RequirementsChecker::$configuration is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/***/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/yoast/whip/src/Whip_RequirementsChecker.php on line 37
Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property Whip_RequirementsChecker::$messageManager is deprecated in /var/www/***/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/yoast/whip/src/Whip_RequirementsChecker.php on line 38
The *** I’ve added here as I don’t want to show my site url here.
Second: when I switch to another language in the frontend, some of my css styles are gone which I defined in my root.
I also have some more questions, do you have a support for active subscriptions?
Hello Cedric,
Yes, we have our technical forum for clients with an active subscription.
Please log in to your account and start a new thread in our forum. The support team will assist you. https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/
Hello,
I have an online store, and I need to import multiple products based on a CSV or XML file that we download from our supplier’s URL (ex: http://www.website.com/products.xml). I can handle this part, we use Wp All Import but our supplier has product descriptions in another language (Polish), and we want translate just descriptions into our language. We don’t have a multilingual website, we want just translate products after the import. We don’t want multiple version language of products, just one. How can we do this?
Hello Silviu,
WPML needs at least two languages installed in order to work correctly. In you case, I can think in the following options:
– Install WPML and create a multilingual site, hide secondary languages and just let the default language visible.
– You could create a second website to be used as a “helping” site, do your translations there and import them to your original website.
I hope it helps.

Hi, we have WPML installed on a website but I can’t get a hold of the developer who created that site, and we want to use the same account on another website where we need multi-lingual capabilities. It looks like it’s under a WPML Lifetime account. We only have one site currently using it. How do we go about getting it transferred to a new account?
Hello Heather,
I have found the account where the url you added to the comments section is registered. Let me contact you privately via email about this.
Hi,
I am planning to establish multilingual travel/hotel booking website with traveller theme(which is compatible with WPML). My mother tongue is Azerbaijanian, and I am planning to create content in Azerbaijanian then translate it to other languages. The question is Traveler theme has some search box, shortcodes and etc in english so, will I be able to translate them in azerbaijaninan(main language) and keep it same in english version?
Hello Elvin,
Yes, that should be possible. In your case, once you translate your string from English to Azerbaijaninan, WPML will keep the default content for English and your new translation for your language.
I hope it helps.

Hello,
yes, it does. Please check this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/
How many words limit we get on different subscription packages?
Multilingual CMS:
€99 -> 90,000 translation credits
Multilingual Agency
€199 -> 180,000 translation credits
Please tell us the translated words limit for both account types.
1 word = 2 credits (DeepL, Google Translate)
1 word = 1 credit (DeepL, Google Translate)
So you will translate 45 000 words with 90 000 and using DeepL.

Hello, we are looking to purchase your plugin (Enterprise Version). How exactly does your plugin work?
Will it create a new page in each language or will the translations be hosted in your cloud like GTranslate?
We are looking to have all the translations on our website for SEO reasons and other reasons.
Thanks!
Hello Axel,
WPML will create the new language versions of each of your pages/posts/any other translated content.

Hi!
Thanks for your interest. A CMS subscription allows you to translate more complex sites, like WooCommerce stores, plugin builders and gives you access to translate your site automatically. This article shows all you can do with a CMS version.
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/
The Blog version lets you translate simple posts and pages. Check below
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-with-multilingual-blog/
You can get started with the Blog version and then upgrade to CMS if you need it, for the difference only.

3. You need a key per WordPress installation, not per domain. If you plan to install WPML on more than 3 WordPress websites, you will need the Agency license. You can start with the CMS license and upgrade to the Agency later.

Replied above. You will need the CMS version https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/
