Good morning,
I would like to purchase the Multilingual CMS for Life – $ 195 (USD) for my blog, but I would like to understand one thing.
At the moment, here are the purchases, then the plugins: WPML Multilingual CMS / WPML Media / WPML All Import / Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual are upgraded or should I buy them individually?
The Multilingual CMS for Life package includes all the WPML plugins. All the plugins you listed are included both in the “CMS” and “Lifetime” subscriptions.
Hi, I would like to ask how it works with payment.
I want to buy Multilingual CMS. Price included VAT is 94.80 USD.
I also entered VAT number and there is written
”We are required by EU regulations to collect VAT. If you have a VAT number, please enter it. For businesses registered in EU reverse VAT charge will be applied”
So which price is for EU company with valid VAT number?
Hi Erik, if you have provide a valid VAT number you should pay $79. If your think you VAT number is valid but it doesn’t work for you, please check it again using this link http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/vatResponse.html.
If it turns out it okey, please clear your browser cache and attempt to purchase once again. If you are still having issues, please contact us using this form. https://wpml.org/home/contact-us/contact-form/
If we buy the “most popular” package for 79$ can later to buy the “Lifetime” 195$ package and pay the difference , or need to pay the whole amount of money ?
Hello,
Thanks for your interest. If you buy the CMS version now you can then upgrade to lifetime for the difference (116$ more). Note that we are planning to remove the lifetime subscriptions in the future so the option will not be available when this happens.
if I buy the the “most popular” package for 79$ and after a year I don’t renew my account, will I lose the translations made with the String Translation module? Will I be able to keep using it on new websites?
Hello Raul,
After the subscription expires you will lose access too updates and support, but whatever you have already done with our plugins will keep working on your site.
Hi,
I want to use Persian and Pashto language.
I see that there is Persian language in your list, but I didn’t find Pashto in list,
Can you guide me what to do for adding Pashto language?
I’m interested in your product, But as NGO we have to see most economical Way to translate our page. So we need to translate our web (based od Zerif Pro theme) to english So we can have dual language site. I saw one option multilingual blog, can you see If this will be enough for our web Page?
Hello Dubravko,
Thanks for your interest. With the Blog version of our plugin you can translate simple pages and posts. To translate the theme strings you will need the String Translation module, which comes included in the CMS and lifetime versions of our plugin.
You can try it for 30 days and if it turns out to be a cost you cannot afford we will refund you https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/.
Hello, I’d like to know if the plugin supports having a slightly different menu? Does the plugin just provide the ability to translate the existing menu items or do you have separate menus?
Hey Daniel, yes, WPML can translate your menus. Once you have your pages translated they will be automatically reflected in the menu for the other language. You can also manually adjust your menu for diffrent languages.
Hi there,
How do I know if my website has Multilingual Blog or Multilingual CMS?
It was the person who created the site who added it. And he no longer does websites.
I need to buy it new and don’t know which one to purchase.
Hey Michelle,
in your WordPress dashboard please go to plugins and check how many WPML plugins you have. If just one, it means have the Blog version (it includes only the main WPML plugin called WPML Multilingual CMS), if you see more WPML plugins, for example WPML String Translation and WPML Media it means you need the “Multilingual CMS”.
Hello, I’m interested in purchasing the lifetime subscription but I can’t find the option! Can you please help?
Also, may I check, for WooCommerce, if my site has 2 languages, under the comments/review section, will the reviews left in both language 1 and language 2 be reflected together? Or will they be segregated such that if I’m viewing the website in Language 1, only reviews in Language 1 will appear.
I would like to make it such that reviews in both language 1 and language 2 will appear. Is that possible? Thank you very much!
Hello Callie, to purchase the lifetime subscription, please visit this page and choose the third column ($195 – Best deal
Multilingual CMS Lifetime).
Currently you cannot translate product reviews. So if you have product reviews in your primary language and your user switches to the product in the second language, he/she will see everything translated but reviews. The review section will be empty.
Our developers are working on it and we will have this feature added in one of the upcoming versions.
Hi, can i distribute the WPML plugin with my own theme meaning already integrated in the theme install package?
If that is not allowed can you please let me know what is the license fee required I would prefer to provide my buyers a complete package with all required plugins pre-installed…
Hello, no, you cannot. What other theme/plugin authors do, they add a note that their theme/plugin is WPML compatible (we even have special badge but their end users need to have their own copy of the plugin installed. Please learn more here.
Yes, it is. In the WPML plugin license.txt file it reads “GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 3, 29 June 2007” but please note that our company (OnTheGoSystems) is the legal owner of the registered trademark WPML name and logo. Any usage of WPML and logo must comply with WPML trademark policy.
Hi there,
We would like to apply for a non-profit license, but I can’t find the appropriate place to do so on your website.
Can you please direct me to the right spot?
Thanks!
Hello Linda,
I am afraid we have removed our non-profit program for now. We continue to support the old non-profits in our system but we cannot take on new ones.
You are welcome to buy a new a yearly license now at $79 and if it doesn’t meet your needs use our refund policy during 30 days from the purchase date: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
We appreciate your understanding.
Hello, I received a link from my wordpress admin, asking me to register to WPML and download the plugin. My admin owns an unlimited WPML license and asked me to go through the download process as I am his customer. I did register on WPML, but now I don’t find a way to download the plugin. I also got a licence key from my WP admin, but I don’t find a page where to use it in the WPML website. Can you please help?
Hello Valerio,
thanks for asking. Let me explain. The end-users don’t get access to download the plugin(s), you can only ask questions in the end-user forum. The idea is your admin/web developer is the one who takes care about the technical stuff and downloads and installs WPML for you but if you have any issues with translating, we are here to help you. Just use the forum I shared. I hope it helps.
“are you saying that my admin (owning the unlimited WPML licence) is the only one allowed to download the plugin?”
Yes, exactly.
“If he does that for me, will I need the licence key to activate it in my WP website?”
Yes, you (or he) need to enter the key in your site. In your WordPress dashboard, go to your plugin page, choose Add new, switch to the Commercial tab and if WPML is installed and activated in your site you will see a button that says Register and after clicking it you will see the field where you need to put that key. As long as the WPML subscription is valid (the Lifetime subscriptions never expire, doesn’t matter who is the actual owner, you or your web developer) you will get automated notifications about new releases and be able to upgrade WPML plugins to the new versions directly from your plugins screen.
Hello Damiaan,
Thanks for your interest. Since you will need the String Translation and the Translation Management modules you will need the CMS or Lifetime version.
If from a users perspective, I live in the UK and I’m on the .co.uk site in English, but I speak Spanish and want to see it in Spanish, as a user would I then be able to change languages manually? I there an option for this with WPML?
we have your plugin active on our website, but the licence owner is another society (no more active), and we would take the ownership..
If we buy a new licence now, can we replace the existing plugin licence without loosing functionalities on our website?
Im seeing on the videos that you have integration with woocommerce on the very end of the video there is a translation action performed, in the example it goes from English to Greek , how is this done? on woocommerce ecommerce products can i translate it automatically?
Hello Marco,
WPML does not make automatic translations. You can translate to any language but you need to add the translated content manually or send the content to translate to one of our integrated translation services. More info here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/.
Hi, I have a license for Multilingual CMS and it expires on 3rd Nov. I would like to upgrade to lifetime. Do I just pay the difference or do I need to pay the full amount?
If I can pay the difference, how do I go about it?
Hello Kenny, you will pay the difference. Please log into your WPML account and you will find a link to do so. Please do it before your subscription expires.
Hi,
I have a questions if i buy multilingual Blog version will it translate my website menus as well and can i upgrade my package to any other in near future?
Thank you
Hello Asad,
Thanks for your interest- To translate your menu please check this article https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/, the Blog subscription is enough. You can upgrade to CMS for the difference (50$) at any time, before your Blog subscription expires.
If someone else can provide you the translation (a friend for example) you can copy paste it. If you need professional translators, please check the following page: https://wpml.org/documentation/content-translation/
The Translation module is available in the CMS package. You can upgrade to the CMS package from within your WPML account for the difference in price. Please log into your WPML and you will find a link to do so. YOu don’t need to reinstall anything on your site, you just need an extra plugin.
Hi,
If i send mu content to the translation services how much time will it take to translate my content.?
If i upgrade to WPML CMS do i have to buy Translation services as well?
Thank you
Hello Asad,
Sending and receiving the content is an automatic process. The translation service will receive them automatically but how long they take to produce the translation goes beyond our scope. You will need to contact them about this. If you upgrade to CMS, you will still need to pay for the translation at a separate fee.
I’m about to purchase WPML for a client and have the following questions:
-Is the plugin able to automatically detect which country a user is coming from and redirect them to a custom domain, so a .com version instead of .co.uk for example?
– How does the detection work, via whichever language the browser is set to or by the users IP address location?
– How is tax handled with the currency conversion? Does it automatically inherit setting within WooCommerce and can it be overridden?
– You have recently confirmed that the user can switch languages with the ‘language switcher’. Is the possible to does this with currency also (without changing the language)?
Any guidance you can offer will be very much appreciated.
Hello Alan,
no, there is no trial version, but our refund policy allows you to test WPML for 30 days without any risk. During that probation period you can even ask technical questions in our support forum.

Hey Matt,
Thanks for your interest. Please find my replies below:
Redirection: We have the automatic redirection based on the browser language. You can learn more here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/
Tax, multi-currency & WooCommerce:
– We have developed a plugin called WCML (WooCommerce Multilingual) dedicated to any multilingual e-commerce websites. This plugin, is included in the CMS version of WPML. So if you buy the CMS version, you have it for free.
– You can setup your taxes per countries
– There is a multi-currency option too and you can display currency according to the languages you choose. A currency switcher is also available and you can change the currency without changing the language. Please read those 2 docs, they will give you more insights:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#multiple-currencies
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/multi-currency-support-woocommerce/
Please contact me again if you have more questions, OK? I’m happy to help.
Have a nice day!
