Hello,
I have two questions regarding the automatic translation feature:
1) Is there an option to automatically translate specific pages only by pressing the Translate button on those pages? We do not want the entire site and every new page translated automatically.
2) What happens if we exceed 500,000 words a month limit on the $72/month automatic translation plan?
Hi there I had a question about the pricing of automatic translations. I understand we’re only charged on the words used. I did a quick search and discovered our entire site has around 20,000 words. If we had 5 users access our site for 4 different languages, how would we be charged. Let’s assume that for the sake of the argument all 5 users accessed every page on the site, causing all 20,000 words to be translated. Would we be charged each time the site was translated per language, per user, or per word?
Per language:
If we had our original English site translated into Spanish, French, Russian, and Arabic would we be charged for 20,000 x 4 languages? So 80,000 words?
Per user:
If 5 users accessed our site and wanted the language translated would we be charged for 100,000 (20,000 x 5 users) words?
Per word:
Would we be charged for 20,000 words no matter how many languages we wanted it translated into?
I understand that we’re charged per word, so if we have X amount of users and some combination of users only see 30,000 translated words we would only need to pay for those 30,000 words, but we’re trying to get an understanding of how the cost will be tabulated if we have multiple languages on the site. Essentially what the most and least cost our client would pay per month.
Sorry if my scenarios and questions were confusing. Thank you for your help.
Hello Emily,
This is how you get charged>
If we had our original English site translated into Spanish, French, Russian, and Arabic would we be charged for 20,000 x 4 languages? So 80,000 words?
The translated content remains available on your site through the new language versions and you will not get charged again every time a visitor switches languages.
Hi Mercedes, I don’t understand if you’re trying to quote my original question in your response or if the answer is by the language. Can you please clarify? If we had our original English site translated into Spanish, French, Russian, and Arabic would we be charged for 20,000 x 4 languages? Would we be charged for 80,000 words total?
Hello Emily,
once you use machine translations, they are save in your database for good so it doesn’t matter how many visitors will see that page (if 1 or 1 000 0000). You are charged only for the first time those words are used. So you don’t need to multiply by 5 in your case.
Hi Agnes, thank you for your response. Does this mean we would only be charged once, when the translations are made and then each month after that we wouldn’t be charged?
Hi Emily,
Sorry if my reply was not clear before.
You are correct: you get charged only when the translation is made and ypu will not get charged again every month.
Hello Paul,
I’m sorry but we offer discounts only for the next years (in case you decide to renew your subscription, which is optional). So, for the CMS package, you will pay $79 for the first year and $59 for the next year.
The Friends and Family of Incarcerated Persons (FFIP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We support families who have loved ones in the prison system so they can lead successful lives until their loved one comes home. We’d like to know if you have any discounts for non-profit organizations as we want to reach out to the Spanish speaking population. Thank you.

Hello,
please use our support forum to report technical issues.
You can also try Google but best would be to open a new thread. You need to be log into your WPML account to be able to open new threads.
Hello,
the Helpgrove theme was never tested by our Compatibility Team and it’s hard to tell if it will work WPML without issues. Often, themes that haven’t been tested by us will work too but you might have trouble translating some special features of this theme.
To let us investigate your issues, you need to create a thread on our support forum. If you have access to your WPML account, please log into your account, then go to this link: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/ and Report a new issue.
If someone else bought WPML for you, they should either share the password with you or they could open the thread on our support forum. But it needs to go through our support forum. Thank you.
Hi!
Good Morning!
I want to translate my English website to Urdu and Arabic. I found in the list that it can translate in Arabic but about Urdu, I couldn’t find an answer. Can you please tell me that can this plugin translate my website to Pakistani Urdu Language
I am planning to purchase your language translation plugin.
I want some clarification for the below points.
1) Is the plugin perfectly with SiteOrigin Page Builder, Block Editor Framework, Elementor, Theme, etc. ?
2) Do you provide full customisation?
3) Can the plugin manually translate all the things including website content, titles, text, button text, blogs, url, posts, comments, category, tag, products, etc.
4) If the plugin fails, then do you provide full immediate support?
5) Will you please send the video about the plugin customisation and settings.
6) Can I change the plugin display style, colour, position, Plugin display position on the Top Right Corner of the website etc.
2 & 6) We offer tech help thorugh our forum, for free, but if you need custom help you can contact one of our certified contractors here https://wpml.org/contractors/
If I want customisation then will it charge extra or it is included with the plan?
Now you know my requirements that I have mentioned in my previous message, so will you please guide me which plan is perfectly suitable for me. I need customisation and manual translation for one website only. I will implement your plugin with siteorigin page builder and blogs, comments, titles, etc.
I am interested to create a wordpress website with woocommerce products, and to support 3 languages such as English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. I have the following questions.
(1) Is the $79 plan sufficient to support the above ?
(2) I understand that the URL for these 3 different languages would be different.
So for product purchases from customers using different languages, would all these orders combine into a single database or will it be into 3 separate order databases tables based on each different languages ?
That is, if I look at the woocommerce orders, would I be seeing orders purchased from all 3 different languages, or just orders from one language, one at a time.
(3) Do you know of any reference websites using your plugins for Woocommerce multi lingual site for me to take a look?
Thank you for your interest in WPML.
1. Yes, it is. It includes all plugins needed to make your WooCommerce store multilingual.
2. It’s one database. Also, from the WP backend user’s perspective, he/she will see all those orders on the same screen/panel.
3. You can check our showcase: https://wpml.org/showcase/ and use the eCommerce filter. But these are sites from our customers and some are better some worse I don’t know any specific one I would recommend.
Further to my earlier question. If I have 100 products in my Woocommerce store. And if I were to use 3 languages, then in my dashboard for woocommerce products, do I see only 100 products or do I see 300 products as there are 3 languages.
I would assume each products under each of the 3 languages would have their own URL.
You will see 300 products in total, but when you log into your WordPress, the default language will be English (unless you choose a different one) so actually the admin will see 100 products and the language switch at the top to change the language (for example: English, Spanish, French, All). When he/she chooses “All” they will see all 300 products.
I am trying to buy your pluggin. When I try to pay it says “An account is already registered with your email address. Please login.Use the Lost password form if you do not know or remember your access credentials.”
I have never created a login on your website and do not have any login credentials. When i enter my email address I do not receive anything. It should not be this difficult just to buy the pluggin.
can someone provide instructions to address this issue?
Hi Ken,
You need to log in to your account and you will find a button to pay for it. Go to your Payment history and invoices page and you will find the invoice there. Click View order and you will find the button to pay and proceed to checkout. If you need to request a new password you can do it here https://wpml.org/account/lost-my-password/
Hello, are you asking about machine translations?
By default, WPML doesn’t translate anything but when you enable our ATE editor you can use both Microsoft Azure or Google translations. I can see that only Filipino is supported by Microsoft Azure: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs

Hello Sergey,
Yes, you are in control of what to send to translate. See here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/#automatic-translation
If you need more than 500,000 words translated you can set up a custom subscription

As mentioned in my previous reply, best would be to contact our supporters via our forum.
What mean 3 websites you can register? That you could have on 3 wordpress installation or only 3 language if you have every language on local domain.
It hard to move it to WPML from polylang
By 3 websites we mean to register 3 WordPress sites. If one of them uses separate domains for languages, no problem, you need to register only the main one. We have a Polylang to WPML converter: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/migrate-polylang-wpml/
I run a church website. Is there any discount for non-profit tax exempt entities?

Hello,
Is there a free trial version I can use to test the translation before I buy?
I tried few translator plugins and all don’t meet my expectation because Arabic is read from right to left and some translation are incorrect.
I either need to be able to fix the translation specifically or exclude some part from the auto translation
is your plugin allows the above feature? can I try it for 3 days to see if it works as expected?
regards,
Hello,
but default, WPML doesn’t translate anything automatically. You can use machine translation (we provide Google translations and MS Azure) if you enable our ATE editor: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/
We don’t provide a free version where you could test those translations. You can buy WPML with our refund policy in mind and then test it.
WPML supports RTL but also your theme should be RTL ready.
Here’s the list of languages with machine translations: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs

I found an order submitted today with your email. It’s in the pending status. Let me check with our admins what to do with it.
Please follow this link: https://wpml.org/checkout/order-pay/7068493/?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_ihkvNbMqO1LYF to pay for your order.
We can also delete your order and your user and then you will start the whole process again.
Please let me know what you decided and how it went.
Please delete my order so that I can start the process again. Please let me know when it is deleted.

Hi,
Does your plugin support support filipino and tagalog language?
Hello, are you asking about machine translations?
By default, WPML doesn’t translate anything but when you enable our ATE editor you can use both Microsoft Azure or Google translations. I can see that only Filipino is supported by Microsoft Azure: https://ate.wpml.org/mt_langs
If you want to provide your own translations, you can configure WPML to add both languages: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/editing-wpmls-languages-table/

If I purchase your CMS $79 version can I translate videos using Divi page builder?

Hello Billy,
according to this thread:

you can translate the video module too.
But let me double-check with my team.
Hi, If I run WPML on one (1) website with WooCommerce, I’ll pay $79 for the first year and $59 beyond that year and have full support and updates. If I want to buy translations, I pay additionally for that, based on the volume of translated words. No, you don’t need to pay for that addon. They are part of the “WPML Multilingual CMS” package.
Hi, Does WPML work with the Neve theme. And is it compatible with Elementor? Thnx, Bart
Yes, we are compatible both with the Neve theme and Elementor.
Hi, – we are looking for option to import products in multiple languages, but connect them between languages automatically after importing.
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/
We already have WP All import and WPML plugin with Multilingual CMS version.
Do we have to purchase the login to get the WPML ALL IMPORT add-on?
Or are there any other way to do it?
Best regards,
Dairis
Yes, this special addon is part of the WPML’s Multilingual CMS or Agency packages and you need to buy one of these.
