  1. Hello, I have purchased Agency CMS plan, is it lifetime or do i need to renew it every year. Why I need to renew when my contents are not going to change. Is there anything that can help me not to pay again?

    • Hey there,
We don’t have lifetime licenses, our subscriptions are renewed on a year basis. Regarding you other question, WordPress is an ecosystem that changes continuously, so updating is always needed as it may prevent possible bugs or fix them. You can consider not to update any of your WordPress parts: WordPress version, plugins, themes, however if in the future you need to modify something in your site, it may be a puzzle. I really don’t recommend you to take that road.

  2. Hi

I want to have a language switcher option for front end users using the Buddyboss Platform. Presently Loco is installed but apparently I need WPML to achieve this. Can you give me some help on what is needed to make this happen. thanks

I appreciate this does not affect content as that will be left in the original language the user wrote it .

  3. Can I use my own in-house translate service to do the auto translate?

Since there are some technical document that not able to use outside service.

We assume the translate is a simple web service, pass string in and return translate string. Any document anout this?

    Thanks

  4. Thanks for your refernece.

But we want automatic translation feature that use our own API. The goal is no need user edit the new translate language after create the primary language.

    • Hello Fred,
At this moment we don’t have an available an API for making this possible out the box. You could create some translation jobs that basically are XLIFF packages. Then you could do your own implementation and integrate your automatic translation feature but that’s out of the scope.
      I hope it helps.

  5. I have problem in registration of WPML which installed in my WordPress, after I paid it did not working, and there was no technical support resolve my problem.

  6. Hi Mercedes,

Thanks for your reply to my message. I have just emailed to hello@wpml.org with a question about our blog. The Subject line is: Regarding multilingual blog with WPML. Please check your spam folder for my email in case you do not find it in your inbox.

  8. Hi there, I just bought Multilingual CMS, confirmed all the PayPal items, confirmed payment in my mobile banking (via card), but nothing arrived via email, no credential, no installation details. What shall I do? Thanks

  9. This is very specific question to see if we implement WPML, as we are moving towards WordPress and have heard great things about WPML.

Will it allow us to create language switcher similar to website mentioned?

    1. On Top-Right, instead of a “Language” we want to put a Region name (United States, Ireland, United Kingdom, custom name, etc.),

    2. The URL structure should be like en-us, en-ie, ar-ae), and

    3. When user clicks, can we display all available regions and more information to create a language switcher experience like (https://www.denaliai.com/en-us/site-selector/?current=en-us)?

    Your response is really appreciated.

    • Hello Arts,
Let me try to answer your questions in order.
      1. You can create all the custom languages that you need as explained here.
      2. When you do that, you will be able to add the code that every language needs as you described.
      3. WPML does not have an option like that out of the box, you can see how our language switcher works in this link. Instead, you will need to create one with custom code.
      I hope it helps,
      Andrés

  10. Two somewhat unrelated questions:

    1. Do you offer a discount for nonprofits?

    2. Is it possible to hide or deactivate the language switcher entirely? During initial implementation, we do not want our users to see the new languages.

    Thank you,
    Brendan

  11. hi @andrescifuentesr kindly note I am following up with you on this task: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/arabic-rtl-3/#post-15797561 already opened on WordPress forums, however, you informed me because of guidelines and terms and conditions, I need to ask here:
1)Regarding the import/export services, does WPML can support me with this? as our default theme language is Arabic and all data and content are in Arabic and we need to translate all to English. we have everything via excel for the products, can we import them with WPML services once we subscribe? this is something very important and critical for me please I need a clear answer.
2)Do you support monthly subscriptions for WPML license translation for one website? I need to pay monthly not yearly.
3)do you have a free trial just in case the solution didn’t work for us? or do you have a money-back guarantee if we didn’t like the solution or didn’t work or match our requirements?
    4) everything will be by default in Arabic and the second language will be English: products, content, meta fields, web pages, everything will be Arabic, and the URL should be the default the normal URL and the secondary will be /en correct me please if I’m wrong?
5)Most important thing as well is right now I am doing everything on the staging demo environment and once I want to GO LIVE, can you inform me about the steps since it will be linked to a new domain, can you clarify for me this specific point as it’s very important as well and we don’t have much time for testing, only a matter of one to one and a half month.

Thank you so much for your kind reply and support.
I hope you will fix all my concerns and problems and I will subscribe soon!
Stay safe and enjoy the weekend.
    Best,

    • Hello @marcH-42,
Thank you for contacting us here. 🙂
Let me try to answer your questions in order:

      1. Yes, it is possible. However, you will need the following extensions:
      – WPML and WPML All Import
      – WP All Import.
      – WooCommerce Import Add-On Pro.
You will find all the information here:
      https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/

      2. Unfortunately, we only have a yearly basis license package.

      3. Yes, we have a 30 days refund policy. You can try our WPML package during this period and ask for a refund directly from your WPML account if necessary.

      4. Yes, that is totally possible with WPML.

      5. Once you have finished your development work and you are ready to ship it, you will need to make a WordPress routine migration from your server B to server A.
Then, you will only need to create a WPML key for your new URL from your account and register it again.

      I hope it helps,
      Andrés

  12. Hi. I intent to change the website domain.
Will I lose the license if I do it?

I am looking forwarding to your reply.

    Sincerely.

    • Hello Ricardo,
I did not find any account with your email address. If you have an active subscription, you can unregister the url and register a new one.
      Let me know?

  13. We are looking forward to translate our DIVI site. After my studies about translating a site. I have ended up with the idea that I need to duplicate All my pages in Spanish and manually translate one by one to English an Portugues. So I can adapt all articles to new keywords and market details.

Also I need to change forms from hubspot, calendar availability embdeds from hubspot, and MANY OTHER DETAILS.

Also I need to change ALT TEXT, images, URLS, and everything.

I think this is not possible if I translate by strings, I think I need to duplicate Spanish Original Pages and start translating with all this details to the other languages.

    I appreciate any comment.

Also I was just told that the functionality you offer to duplicate pages IS DEPRECATED and that it is not going to be available in later releases. Could you please confirm that

    • Hello John,
If you are considering to have a different structure, keywords and images, yes, probably the better approach is to manually translate your pages. For make it easier, you can first duplicate your pages and then start editing them.
However, this functionality is not considered as deprecated. Do you find any forum ticket with that information?
      Regards,
      Andrés

  14. Hello!

We are a charity foundation in Ukraine and want to build our website in WordPress.

Do you offer discounts for charities?
Is there any support for Ukraine from your side regarding the WMPL Plugin?

    Thank you

  15. I am looking into your multilingual CMS and have few elementary questions prior to purchasing it.

-What does 3 production/9 developments exactly entail ?
-It says 90,000 translation credit. Does it refer to the # of words auto translated or something else ?
-Can our staff edit the translation as freely as possible and how? (they won’t count toward the translation credit, yes?)

Look forward to hearing back soon.

    Sincerely

    • I think there has been a misunderstanding as this functionality is not planned to be deprecated so far.
      I hope it helps.

  16. Hello,
I would like to buy Mpml cms to automatically translate my website from Italian to English. Can you confirm that the plug-in works with the WordPress Byanca theme? Also on the pages and modules of the theme?

I am looking forwarding to your reply
    Many thanks

    • Hello Maria,
thank you for your interest in WPML. This theme hasn’t been tested by our Compatibility Team but according to the theme authors (please check the sidebar on this page) it is compatible with WPML. I’m not sure if this is just a label because I cannot see any WPML mentions in their change logs. Anyway, WPML works with most of the themes out of the box unless these themes have special (nonstandard) functinality added. I’m not sure what you mean by “modules”. You can buy WPML and test it yourself and use our refund policy if it doesn’t work for you or you can also check with the theme authors.

  17. Thanks, @ANdres for your kind reply and support, much appreciate it and you made it clean and clear for all my concerns. I just need to ask for the import/export functionality to be able to import/export the English and Arabic languages and make any changes via excel in the future, having all these plugins mandatory?
    – WPML and WPML All Import
    – WP All Import.
    – WooCommerce Import Add-On Pro.

and if I purchase the 99$ for the WPML license, will I get them all, or no it separate?

p.s.: apologize for the late reply but I didn’t receive any email notification about the update here!

    • That’s odd @marcH-42, you should have received a notification. Did you check your spam?
Getting back to your question, yes, if you want to import/export WooCommerce products using excel or CSV files, you will need them all:
      – WPML and WPML All Import: they make part of WPML license.
      – WP All Import: you can download it from WordPress.org.
      – WooCommerce Import Add-On Pro: it is premium plugin from WP All Import team.
Don’t hesitate to ping me back if you have further questions.

  18. Good day, I would like to know if it’s possible to upgrade purchases. I mean: may I upgrade to the 3 licences once I have purchased the first option for just 1 licence?

And, if yes, should I pay the full price ?

Thanks in advance for your support

    My best regards

    • Hello,
yes, you can upgrade from the Multilingual Blog package to the Multilingual CMS package later and you will pay only the difference between the two.
Please note that the Multilingual Blog package doesn’t allow you to use automatic translations.
