  1. I purchased 1 year, 3 production sites and once it passed 1 year, so it expired, I removed one site with its license key and I cannot add it anymore unless I pay, how come ???

    • Yes, as I explained in my previous comment, you need to have an active WPML subscription to register your site again.

  2. Thank you.
if I buy “Multilingual CMS” package I can pay 100$ later and upgrade to “Multilingual Agency” package?

    • Yes, that’s correct. You can upgrade to the Agency version later for the difference in the purchase price.

    • Yes, you can create a multilingual website using WPML where the primary language is Portuguese and the second language is English.

  3. Can I build multilingual, multi-currency woocommerce website with wpml? Without any additional plugin.

Also does wpml provide geoip option so user from perticular country can see website in their local currency and language on first visit?

  4. Do we have any demo site or showcase site, so I can check how it looks, URL structure, checkout procedure etc. before buying the plugin.

    Thank you!

  5. Hi,

I wanted to use your WPML translation plugin for a new project. Only I don’t know right now which variant makes the most sense.
I want to use the plugin for this theme:
    https://qodeinteractive.com/qi-theme/

The support doc says it works, for pages, blogposts etc.
    https://qodeinteractive.com/qi-theme/documentation/#wpml

Under “WPML Pricing” I find the reference:
    “Full Site Editing support
Translate headers, footers, templates and more from Gutenberg”

Does this mean that your plugin does not work with Elementor and this theme?

I am also mainly concerned about the content in the top bar (above the navigation) and in the footer area, which are controlled via widgets.

Is this all possible with your plugin?

    Thanks
    Markus

  6. Hello,
I bought the plugin last year and I did not think that the renewal will be done automatically, in addition I have not used the plugin for a while, I wish to have a refund of what was charged today and terminate this subscription.

    thank you for your comeback
    Wissem Nhidi

    • Hello Wissem,
      I have refunded your order.
We charged you for it because your account had the automatic renewal enabled. We sent you 2 notifications before processing the payment with the option to cancel it but it looks like you did not get any of them.

      Kind regards,

  7. Hey guys,
I have purchased a license before through a freelancer on a platform… he mentioned that I had lifetime access, but now it says that “I’m using an expired WPML account” and that I need to renew. Could you let me know how to proceed?

    • Hello Tania,
I am afraid the only place where you can buy a legit subscripition from us is our site. Please contact your freelancer about this. He will let you know if he bought a subscription and if your site is still registered.
If not, I am afraid you will have to buy a new subscription for the full amount https://wpml.org/purchase/

      Kind regards,

  8. Hello Team,

I need a WPML plugin for this site.

If I purchase this plugin. So I get 1-year support and 1-year upgrade features. Right?

    Please clarify the below queries:
Query 1: If after 1 year I do not renew this plugin. Then multiple language functionality would be stopped or not on my site?
Query 2: If after 1 year I do not need support and plugin updates. So that time I do need to renew the plugin? If not, That time my website’s multiple language functionalities working or not?

Please give me a reply ASAP. Because I need this plugin for 3 websites.

    Thank you

    • Hello,
      >If I purchase this plugin. So I get 1-year support and 1-year upgrade features. Right?
      That’s correct.

      >Query 1: If after 1 year I do not renew this plugin. Then multiple language functionality would be stopped or not on my site?
WPML will continue working and you keep your translations. You can still use WPML as usual.

      >Query 2: If after 1 year I do not need support and plugin updates. So that time I do need to renew the plugin? If not, That time my website’s multiple language functionalities working or not?
yes, everything will work. You won’t get new upadtes.

  9. Hello

I tried to make the purchase (through PayPal) of the plugin ($99), but the purchase was not completed and the account was not created. However, the purchase was charged to my credit card.

  10. Hello,

I just realized that my account is expired and was trying to renew but was a little shocked that WPML is not providing any discount for the returning users and will always be treated as new users.

    can you please clarify

    thanks 🙂

    • Hello Ahmed,
I see your account expired in March. We sent you a reminder via email so that you could log in and renew in time to keep the discount. Did you not receive this notification from us?

      Waiting for your reply.

      Kind regards,

  11. Hi there,

I’m considering setting up a bilingual English/Japanese online store with WordPress.com/WooCommerce, single site and store with products translated, but with separate blog content for the English and Japanese languages. So that English blog posts (and corresponding menu titles) that are not translated to Japanese, are not visible on the Japanese version of the page, and vice versa.

    Is this possible with WPML?

    Many thanks,

    J

  12. Hello,

Can you give me some explanation on what the service offer under the package “multilingual CMS”? I dont quiet understand on what you mean by “3 production” and “9 development”

    Thanks

    • Hello Edo,
With “3 production” sites, we want to say that you can install and activate WPML in 3 production sites, it means 3 sites which are public and already accessible for the general public. With “9 development”, it means that you can install and activate WPML in 9 test environments or sites which are still under development until the developer considers them finished and ready to migrate to production.
      I hope it helps.

  14. Thanks Mercedes,

I’m not sure the info in the link you provided applies to my situation or perhaps I didn’t understand well.

Essentially, I don’t want untranslated content to appear at all in secondary language pages. And I want some blog content published in the translation language only too.

I’d basically like two separate blogs: one for English, one for Japanese (secondary language). I don’t want the English blog to be visible to Japanese language viewers. Same for the Japanese blog – I don’t want it visible to English language viewers.

If I turned of WPML for individual pages/posts like this https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-disconnect-translations-from-the-default-language-page-or-post/ would this post be hidden from secondary languages?

    • Yes, keep them translatable and just create individual posts in each language, without connection.
Make sure to turn off translate everything for posts if you have it turned on globally.
If you buy WPML, I suggest you ask for help in the forum and our tech team will give you more accurate instructions of how to do this.
But, yes, this can be achieved.

  15. Hi Andres,

So if I want to add this plugin to my 5 sites, 4 already up and running and 1 under development, can this package cover my need?

  16. Good morning,

Is is possible to buy a license with via international bank transfer? We are not allowed to use credit cards in our institute for payments.

    Kind regards

    • Hello Peter,
I am afraid we don’t accept direct wire transfers but you are welcome to pay with a debit card, or PayPal account.

      Kind regards,

  17. Hi Mercedes,

Could you help me with some concerns before purchasing?

    1. Can your plugin identify and translate the words on my images of my website or I have to create other images for the other language site?

    2. Does 90,000 translation credits mean 90,000 works available for me to translate?

    3. Is the translation done by translator or by machine? If the contents are translated by human, how much it is? If the contents are translated by machine, can I trust it?

    Thank you,

    Jay

  18. Trying to purchase Multilingual Agency package, but I am directly taken to PayPal gateway.
There is no option to select payment processor and I want to pay with credit card.

    • Hello,
We also have the option to pay with your credit card directly. I am afraid that this option may not be available to you if you are trying to purchase from India.
      Please confirm

    • Hello Marco,
There is no account with your domain name. However, I have found your site url registered with a different email address.
Let me send you an email with the details.

      Kind regards,

  19. Hello, thinking about purchasing, but trying to find documentation on how the pages are stored/structured if I plan to use subdomain setup such as es.example.com/samplepage

In this scenario, do WPML create a SEPARATE fully-translated page that is stored on my host as es.example.com/samplepage and does it then therefore have a DIFFERENT wordpress page id than the original http://www.example.com/samplepage? (If so, a separate page id is problematic for me as I use a lot of hard-coded page ids in my child theme functions.php file for various functionality purposes that would not work with the translated the version)

Hope you can clarify this and hopefully provide some links to more technical details of how exactly WPML is structred in this regard.
    Thanks!

  20. Hi there!
My colleagues and I are currently using ‘Contact Form 7 Multilingual’ on our website.

We’re investigating a move to a WordPress Multisite setup and are wondering if ‘Contact Form 7 Multilingual’ will be compatible with a Multisite installation.

Looking forward to your prompt response.

    Best regards,
    Jahid

    • Hello Jahid,
As WPML is compatible with multisites, there shouldn’t be any issue running Contact Form 7 Multilingual.
      Regards

    • Hello, it means you can install on 3 production domians. Besides this, you will be able to install WPML on 9 other domains, including localhost.
